UN: Natural Disasters Do Not Exist

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Volcano Bali EruptionThe globalists at the United Nations need the masses to believe that they are solely responsible for the changing climate. They cannot usurp power and modify our way of life if the masses do buy into the climate change agenda. The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) has declared “natural disasters” to be a myth as only human intervention can cause a weather event to be disastrous.

The USA led the world in catastrophes last year.

Racking up an overall damage cost of $16.5 billion, the devastating and deadly Camp Fire that ravaged California in November was the world’s costliest natural disaster in 2018. The data come from a report issued Tuesday by Munich Re, a reinsurance firm.

Price Gouging During a Natural Disaster

Price Gouging During a Natural Disaster

Thirteen states — Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia — have enacted laws to combat what is seen as price gouging in the wake of natural disasters. The Riskiest Places to Live

Via Visual Capitalist

Risk, from a mathematical perspective, is the probability of an event multiplied by its potential impact.

The World Risk Report, which is published each year, looks at the risks of natural disasters in this way. The model used in the report takes into consideration the exposure of countries to natural disasters, but also their ability to cope and deal with such events. The end result is a World Risk Index that ranks 171 countries based on the risk that natural disasters can pose.

The below graphic comes from The Guardian, where data from the report was visualized. For the interactive version of the graphic that allows each country data point to be highlighted, go to original article.
