Video shows a New York Police Department (NYPD) officer basically flattening a woman who slapped him in the face as authorities were trying to arrest a separate individual.
The incident unfolded Tuesday shortly before 5:00 p.m. in front of 174 West 136th Street, where police were arresting a 22-year-old man sought in connection with an attempted murder that had taken place earlier in the month.
This woman called the police on some "youths" and their reaction was to sit by and let her be physically assaulted by a large number of men

NEW YORK — An New York Police Department officer shot a man to death on a Brooklyn street Wednesday afternoon, after they saw him with a metal object that looked like a shower head in his hand, police sources said.
Officers responded to a call about 4:30 p.m. that there was an emotionally disturbed black man believed to be in his mid-30s waving a gun at a local street corner, law enforcement sources said.
Witnesses told cops that he had “something in his jacket,” sources said.
On an April morning forty-five years ago, NYPD Patrolman Phillip Cardillo was gunned down in a Nation of Islam mosque in Harlem. He died six days later. New York’s political and police leadership abandoned Cardillo within hours of the shooting. No one was ever convicted of the crime. The case was a sensation back in the day. Does it matter anymore?
It still matters to the Cardillo family, who have endured decades of controversy over the murder. It still matters to the thin blue line in New York, where “Remember Cardillo” became a watchword for a generation of cops, evoking the treason of the brass and the gnawing sense that a cloud of lies and cover-up had descended over the case.
Many details about the death of Cardillo remain hidden in the files of the NYPD and the FBI, but we do know a few things.
We know there was a cover-up.

Let’s look at what works and what doesn’t work.
In 1990, New York City adopted the practice in which its police officers might stop and question a pedestrian. If there was suspicion, they would frisk the person for weapons and other contraband. This practice, well within the law, is known as a “Terry stop.”
After two decades of this proactive police program, New York City’s homicides fell from over 2,200 per year to about 300. Blacks were the major beneficiaries of proactive policing.

A hispanic man, 50 years old, being restrained by 3 police officers while being punched repeatedly in the head. The man was snatched out of his car while on his way to visit his mother at the hospital who was having an emergency surgery. You can even hear the man screaming for help while on the ground.
Occurs on 149th Street between Cauldwell and Trinity Avenue in Mott Haven just before 10 a.m in New York City. The officers are from the 40th precinct. Take note of how the officer stops punching the man once he realizes someone else is recording.

Officers from the New York Police Department raided a Brooklyn home on Thursday, arrested the family living there, and then posted pictures to Snapchat—yes, really—with the caption “Merry Christmas Its [sic] NYPD.”
It wasn’t until later that the cops realized they had raided the wrong house, and arrested and publicly humiliated the wrong people.
The family, according to ABC-7 in New York, was so upset by the whole incident that they filed a police report and called 911 to report the cops—which, yeah, good for them.
“The worst part was the Snapchats,” Kimberly Santiago, one of the people wrongfully arrested in Thursday’s incident, told the TV station. “He doesn’t deserve to be a police officer. If he does that, what other things he does on the low that nobody knows?”

We had a quick two day jaunt to NYC to see a concert this week. NYC at Christmas time is usually entertaining, with all the over the top decorations and throngs of shoppers in this mecca of materialism. We drove to the Hamilton Train Station, but by 10:00 am the parking garage was full. We had to go back to lovely Trenton and catch a NJT train there into Penn Station. Nothing like immediately being swarmed upon by a grifter selling a sob story about just being released from the hospital, blah, blah, blah. His well rehearsed show didn’t work on me. I told him to beat it and proceeded to position himself for the next sucker.
The train ride was uneventful and on time. We departed Penn Station and got a cab. The 15 block ride resulted in at least 5 near accidents, dozens of honked horns, and a feeling of relief when we arrived in one piece. After dropping our bags off at the hotel – no room ready, we proceeded to find a place for lunch and then see the usual Christmas sites. NYC survives strictly on tourism and Wall Street criminal banks. Every block has at least six restaurants or bars. How they survive, with what must be huge rents, is beyond me. The truth is, most don’t survive and are replaced every year or so.

Surveillance footage released by the New York Police Department shows officer James Frascatore ambushing US tennis star James Blake in what appears to be a startling, illegal arrest. Frascatore has a history of using excessive-force and has been sued four times.
He’s a repeat offender.
The hard-charging NYPD officer who body-slammed tennis star James Blake outside a Manhattan hotel has been sued four times for roughing up suspects during arrests, documents show.
Officer James Frascatore, on the force for four years, is a defendant in four ongoing civil cases that charge he and other officers used excessive force during false arrests.
The 38-year-old Long Island resident has also had at least five complaints lodged against him with the Civilian Complaint Review Board.
The gang that couldn’t shoot straight is at it again. At least they didn’t shoot ten innocent people by mistake. I guess that could be called improvement. Maybe the NYPD should value marksmanship over diversity in their hiring process. The 11 year old kid in St.Louis only required one shot and nailed the perp in the head. Maybe the NYPD should hire him as an instructor.

A gun-toting Brooklyn bandit dodged more than 80 police bullets early Friday in a wild street shootout that began with a botched armed robbery and ended with his arrest, officials said.
Oft-apprehended Jerrol Harris, 27, was busted around 1:10 a.m. when a single bullet — out of 84 fired at him — pierced his calf to end a blocks-long police pursuit through Bushwick, cops said.
I wonder how long it took fatboy to get those pants on.
The NYPD will probably shoot at the manspreaders and hit 30 other subway riders. The idiocy of our government control freaks grows by the day. How come womanspreading isn’t illegal? No one up in arms about sluts on the subway.
Why doesn’t De Blasio grow a pair and do what Reagan did in 1981 when he fired 11,000 striking air traffic controllers? If the NYPD doesn’t want to do their jobs then fire a few thousand to send a message to the rest. And truthfully, the NYPD proved they aren’t needed when traffic accidents and crime DIDN’T INCREASE when they stopped writing tickets and arresting people for minor bullshit offenses. Their shot across De Blasio’s bow backfired and revealed they are nothing but a bunch of union thugs who can’t shoot straight.
Some NYPD officers have a ton of time on their hands now that they’ve virtually given up on arresting people, so naturally New York’s finest have resorted to everybody’s favorite work-avoidance tactic: dicking around.
CBS New York reports that an episode of “horseplay that got out of hand” landed a Kensington officer in the hospital with a head injury on Monday morning. Though the incident was initially reported as an officer falling out of a stationary vehicle, surveillance footage shows the cop gleefully riding on the hood of a squad car driven by another officer. But when the car comes to a sudden stop, the officer flies off the hood and smacks his head on the pavement.
Both officers are expected to be written up on “departmental charges” and grounded by their mothers for roughhousing.
Is the NYPD really confused as to why two of their members were executed? You reap what you sow. It’s harvest time and the NYPD better duck.
NEW YORK CITY, NY — Surveillance video recorded the way a man was approached by NYPD, frisked for no reason, and then beaten by multiple officers.
The incident happened on August 18th, 2014 at about 6 p.m. While waiting for a friend, 23-year-old Santiago Hernandez stood in front of a building in the Melrose section of the Bronx. He and another individual were approached by officers who were allegedly investigating a noise complaint.
Video shows that officers immediately ordered Mr. Hernandez to stand up and put his arms out so that he could be “stopped and frisked.” Mr. Hernandez complied. The patdown produced no evidence, and it is unclear why a noise complaint would lead to a contraband search.
After being shaken down by police, Mr. Hernandez was allowed to sit back down on the stairs. ABC-7 News reported what happened next:
When the search came up empty, he says he asked the officers why he had been searched.
And with that, he says, one of the officers grabbed his arm and slapped on handcuffs.
“I’m like, ‘Miss what you doing? You are hurting my arm,’” Hernandez said.
The surveillance video is silent, but a cell phone video captured part of it.
“She just was telling me to put my hands behind my back, but ‘I’m like trying to understand what are you are arresting me for. Can you please tell me?’” Hernandez said.
Moments later, half-a-dozen officers arrived and appeared to pile-on. Hernandez said he was punched, kicked, beaten with nightsticks, and blasted with pepper spray.
“They was taking turns on me. One kicks me, he steps back. Another one comes to punch me and he steps back. And another one comes and grabs my arm and hits me like 10 times with the baton. Another one comes and pepper sprayed me, they were taking turns like a gang,” Hernandez said.
Mr. Hernandez was left with bruises all over his body. On top of being brutalized, he was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
However, the transparent bullying was not supported by the Bronx district attorney’s office, which later declined to prosecute the case.
NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau was said to be investigating, but no officer involved has been publicly disciplined or criminally charged as of this date.
New Yorkers patiently await the promised reforms to the city’s infamous “stop & frisk” program. So far under Mayor Bill de Blasio, the baseless stops have only slowed in frequency, not ceased or substantively changed in procedure.
