I wish I could go through a day without having to reference Orwell and Huxley when observing how the ruling class is able to manipulate, subjugate, and propagandize the willfully ignorant masses through lies, deceptions, disinformation, and fear. But here we are, living through a dystopian nightmare blending the worst aspects of Orwell’s 1984 and Huxley’s Brave New World.

It’s as if O’Brien and Mustapha Mond are running the show, using behavioral conditioning, restricting freedom of speech, adhering to a strict caste system, surveilling everything we say or do, using our fears to control us, utilizing propaganda to produce false narratives, and ultimately threatening to stomp a boot on our faces forever if we do not obey and conform. Virtually everything we are told by politicians, government bureaucrats, military brass, “esteemed” journalists, medical “experts”, bankers, and corporate executives is lies. They do not believe their lies, but they know it benefits themselves financially to lie, and as long as they work together, they know the ignorant masses will believe them.

Another mailman busted for stealing thousands of letters

An overwhelmed mailman stole over 17,000 pieces of mail hoarding them in his car, apartment and work locker, according to a Brooklyn federal complaint.

Aleksey Germash — a Russian immigrant — is charged with delaying or detaining mail after stockpiling the parcels for 12 years during his 16 years with the US Postal Service where he worked in Dyker Heights Brooklyn, according to the complaint.

The Drought Goes From Bad To Catastrophic

As we previously commented, when scientists start using phrases such as “the worst drought” and “as bad as you can imagine” to describe what is going on in the western half of the country, you know that things are bad. However, in recent weeks the dreadful situation in California has gone from bad to catastrophic as the U.S. Drought Monitor reported that more than half of the state is now in experiencing ‘exceptional’ drought, the most severe category available. And most of the state – 81% – currently has one of the two most intense levels of drought.

As WaPo reports,

While California’s problems are particularly severe, that state is not alone in experiencing significant drought right now. There are wide swaths of moderate to severe drought stretching from Oregon to Texas, with problems impacting numerous states west of the Mississippi River.

 

Some of the most severe droughts outside of California are impacting large pockets in Oklahoma, Texas and, particularly, Nevada, where more than half of the state is currently experiencing one of the two most intense drought conditions:

As we concluded previously,

Most people just assume that this drought will be temporary, but experts tell us that there have been “megadroughts” throughout history in the western half of the United States that have lasted for more than 100 years.

 

If we have entered one of those eras, it is going to fundamentally change life in America.

 

And the frightening thing is that much of the rest of the world is dealing with water scarcity issues right now as well.  In fact, North America is actually in better shape than much of Africa and Asia.  For much more on this, please see my previous article entitled “25 Shocking Facts About The Earth’s Dwindling Water Resources“.

 

Without plenty of fresh water, modern civilization is not possible.

 

And right now, the western United States and much of the rest of the world is starting to come to grips with the fact that we could be facing some very serious water shortages in the years ahead.

Dad punches man at Pennsylvania Wawa for ogling his daughter: police

The Upper Darby Police Department is searching for the man who police said caused serious injuries to his victim after hitting him in the face at the convenience store Sunday.

Police are searching for this man, who did not approve of a Wawa customer looking at his daughter and struck him in the face. The blow caused serious injuries.
Police are searching for an overprotective father who assaulted a man for looking at his daughter.The Upper Darby Police Department in suburban Philadelphia has released a picture of the man and his daughter who were in a Wawa convenience store Sunday when police said the man did not approve of how another male was looking at his child.

The suspect, dressed in a red polo shirt, punched the man in the face, police said. He then left the store.

The victim suffered serious injuries from the assault, police said.

Police did not release any additional information regarding the victim or suspect.

This guy’s not an overprotective father … That’s just his excuse for thumping the guy.

“If somebody’s looking at your daughter, why don’t you confront him instead of punching him?” Upper Darby police Superintendent Michael Chitwood told Philly.com. “This guy’s not an overprotective father … That’s just his excuse for thumping the guy.”
