WASHINGTON, D.C.—Sources at the Capitol confirmed today that a significant brouhaha broke out between Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Ted Cruz.
The incident occurred as Ocasio-Cortez was walking out of the Capitol Building and passed by Cruz, who smiled and shot her a set of cool-guy finger guns. “Howdy, AOC! How’s my favorite socialist rep? Haha, just playin’ with ya, kid.”

Senator Ted Cruz, a supporter of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, was verbally assaulted by a group of protesters at a DC restaurant Monday night while trying to dine with his wife, as seen in a video posted by twitter account Smash Racism DC.
The protesters, chanting “we believe survivors,” blocked Cruz’s wife from exiting the restaurant at one point, prompting the Texas Senator to ask them to “let my wife through.”

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis introduced a constitutional amendment on Tuesday that would impose term limits on members of Congress, following through on their December announcement about the proposal.
“D.C. is broken,” Cruz said in a statement Tuesday evening. “The American people resoundingly agreed on Election Day, and President-elect Donald Trump has committed to putting government back to work for the American people. It is well past time to put an end to the cronyism and deceit that has transformed Washington into a graveyard of good intentions.”
The proposal would limit senators to two terms (12 years total) and representatives to three terms (six years total). President-elect Trump campaigned on reining in Congress by implementing term limits, though it is unclear if the incoming administration has been involved in the proposal, which comes during Congress’ first week in session this year.

The self-righteousness and smugness of Ted Cruz in refusing to endorse Donald Trump, then walking off stage in Cleveland, smirking amidst the boos, takes the mind back in time.
At the Cow Palace in San Francisco in July of 1964, Gov. Nelson Rockefeller, having been defeated by Barry Goldwater, took the podium to introduce a platform plank denouncing “extremism.”
Implication: Goldwater’s campaign is saturated with extremists.
Purpose: Advertise Rocky’s superior morality.
Smug and self-righteous, Rocky brayed at the curses and insults, “It’s a free country, ladies and gentlemen.”
Rocky was finished. He would never win the nomination.
Richard Nixon took another road, endorsed Goldwater, spoke for him in San Francisco, campaigned for him across America. And in 1968, with Goldwater’s backing, Nixon would rout Govs. George Romney and Rockefeller, and win the presidency, twice.
In some ways, the scandal that took place last night at the Republican national convention, was not a surprise.
Reportedly those who mattered, knew in advance what was coming. As Bloomberg writes, earlier in the day, Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort said he would be personally viewing the Cruz speech in advance. “I’m comfortable that Senator Cruz is going to talk about his vision for America,” Manafort said. “He’ll give a sign of where he is on Donald Trump that will be pleasing to the Trump campaign and to Republicans.” Cruz told Trump two days ago he wouldn’t be endorsing him Wednesday night, and that the Trump folks knew what to expect in his speech, according to Cruz strategist Jason Johnson.
This goes to a question Bloomberg posed shortly after the speech: “the problem for Trump wasn’t just the lack of an endorsement from Cruz. The speech raised questions about why Trump — who has campaigned on his extraordinary negotiating skills — allowed Cruz to take stage.”
“Wow, Ted Cruz got booed off the stage, didn’t honor the pledge! I saw his speech two hours early but let him speak anyway. No big deal!” Trump said late Wednesday on Twitter.
One day, not so long ago, Ted Cruz knelt in prayer for two hours at a Baptist church in Texas. The entire family wept. Then, Ted’s wife, Heidi, said she had received a message from above. The Lord instructed her to tell her beloved Ted to run for the White House.
Ted then looked up and said: ‘Lord, here am I, use me. I surrender to you, whatever you want.’” And, now to this day (depending on the audience) Ted will say to his audience “It is God’s will for me to run for the White House.“
Question #1 for Believers: Do you believe Heidi actually got “a message from above”?
Note! Not could it be possible. Of course, as a Believer you must say she “could” have received such a message. And, don’t give me any bologna about that message being “between her and God“. Bullshit! Not when it affects the entire nation! Stop being a weenie! Do you believe God actually talked to her — “Yes” or “No“?
Question #2 for Believers: If it’s God’s will for Teddie to run, how can he not win?? If he doesn’t win, what does that say about God’s will?

There were many shots fired yesterday as the “wife feud” between Donald (and Melania) Trump and Ted (and Heidi) Cruz hit new lows, dragging none other than the National Enquirer tabloid into it and escalating the #CruzSexScandal into one of the most talked about topics on social media.
To be sure, Trump washed his hands of the affair saying “I have nothing to do with the National Enquirer and unlike Lyin’ Ted Cruz I do not surround myself with political hacks and henchman and then pretend total innocence. Ted Cruz’s problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz.”
Cruz was adamant, repeating that the Enquirer article linking him to five women is “garbage, complete and utter lies” and that “it’s tabloid smear, and it is a smear that has come from Donald Trump and his henchmen,” a perturbed Cruz told reporters at a press conference in Wisconsin.
On this one occasion, however, Trump may be telling the truth because the source of the original Cruz rumor is none other than Donald Trump’s old nemesis, the same hacker collective which recently released his social security and phone number, Anonymous.
As the following YouTube clip released on March 15, the Anonymous hacker group warned Ted Cruz last week to leave the race “or else.”
