Here We Go Again: Deranged Voters Looking for a Political Savior

“Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, I’m a moron. Fool me three or more times consecutively, and I’m a voter.” Jarod Kintz

My gracious sakes alive; it is amazing that it is only eighteen months away from yet another mentally deranged presidential ‘election,’ and the insanity circus is already in town. Who will run? Who will be nominated? Who will be your savior this time around? Who will give you a check? Who will ‘fix’ the country? Who will be tasked with continuing the madness? Which trimmer will get called into the game by the ruling ‘elites’ to compete in this selection-based political process? Will it be Biden again, Trump, DeSantis, M. Obama, or the new lauded democrat, RFK, Jr., or any others in the cadre of political scum of wanna-be rulers vying for the selected top spot? It does not matter you see, as so long as this voting insanity continues, this country and world will persist in flushing all freedom down the proverbial toilet bowl of dreams, while the lowly complicit masses cheer on their political gods.

Voting Harder

Eric Peters Autos

Is there any point to voting when it’s unclear whether your vote actually counts?

And – more to the point – whether other “votes” are counted to counteract yours?

The Left assures us that the elections aren’t fixed – whenever a Leftist “wins, as in Arizona, for instance. The same Leftists, on the other hand, insist the election was fixed . . . whenever a Leftist doesn’t win – as in 2016, for instance.

The people of Georgia are about to vote again. How many of them will actually vote for Raphael Warnock, the activist-grifter who wears a collar – as opposed to his opponent, the former football player Herschel Walker?

Wouldn’t it be nice if we knew – or could find out? Continue reading “Voting Harder”

On Vooooooooting . . .

Via Eric Peters Autos

One of the ways the sheep baaaaa! is via the ballot box – as the results of the latest balloting have established.

Or rather, re-confirmed.

Voooooooooote if you want things to chaaaaaaaangebaaaaaaa’d the sheep. And the sheep (me among them) got just what they vooooooooted for. That being more of the same.

As of this morning, almost a week after the vooooooting – the results are cooooooooming in. In favor of the result many of us knew was coming but went ahead and voooooooooooted anyhow, holding onto the thought that – just maybe – this time it would  make a diiiiiiiiiiiference.

Of course, it did not. Continue reading “On Vooooooooting . . .”

Tip of the fraudulent iceberg {elections and voting}

Tip of the fraudulent iceberg {elections and voting}

The Presidential voting fraud scandal may be one thing – but it should (for the critical thinker at least) make you wonder about the rest of the “governing” bodies in America.

Besides the tool-bags in Washington DC, just think about all the other “elected” officials across the country.

  • There are around 20,000 City “Mayors” out there.
  • We have 50 “Governors.”
  • And countless other “officials,” in places at the County level, municipal level, and even some Sheriffs as well.

Don’t Freak Out!

Guest Post by John Stossel

Don't Freak Out!

Worried about Tuesday?

Remember: The most important parts of life happen outside politics.

Love, friendship, family, raising children, building businesses, worship, charity work — that is the stuff of life! Politicians get in the way of those things. But despite the efforts of power-hungry Republicans and Democrats, life gets better.

You may not believe that. Surveys show most people think life is getting worse.

Democracy Is the Ideal Distraction

Guest Post by Jeff Thomas via International Man

democracy

In the days of yore, there were kings. Everybody could agree to hate the king because he was rich and well-fed, when most of his minions were not.

Then, a more effective system was invented: democracy. Its originators had in mind a system whereby the populace could choose their leader from amongst themselves – thereby gaining a leader who understood them and represented them.

In short order, those amongst the populace who wished to rule found a way to game the new system in a way that would allow them to, in effect, be kings, but to do so from behind the scenes, whilst retaining the illusion of democracy.

TAKE THIS VOTE AND SHOVE IT

Guest Post by CCRider

I offer here an idea to drive a stake into the heart of the ruling elite while requiring no effort, no rallies, no demonstrations and no violence.  It can be done sitting on our asses, in fact that’s a requirement.  We hijack the non voting majority.  There are many well reasoned articles for not voting.  One of my favorites is by Doug Casey  https://internationalman.com/articles/doug-caseys-top-five-reasons-not-to-vote/

I stopped voting after Reagan grew the government by 30%.  If he couldn’t stem the malignant growth of the federal government I reasoned, no one could.  Like any parasite government would grow until it killed off the host.  I did vote for Ron Paul in the two republican primaries but I knew it was merely symbolic.  Not only was he not allowed to win, if he came close they would have killed him, like Jack Kennedy, another reason I gave up on the evil that is voting in a corrupt democracy.

Voting: America’s Favorite Hollow Ritual

Guest Post by Bill Bonner

ARDMORE, IRELAND – Yesterday, the voters spoke.

The media – eager to attract eyeballs for their paid advertisers – spun the story as if it were the most important thing to happen since Adam ate the apple.

But what really changed?

The House – now in Democrat hands – will begin a new set of annoying hearings, designed to distract the voters from the larceny going on behind the scenes and the disaster it foretells.

There, away from the headlines, Democrats and Republicans, lefties and Trumpistas, will divvy up the ill-gotten goods from the election.

With a Clothespin Affixed to My Nose…

Guest Post by Eric Peters

I just voted – not for anything, but against everything the political Left is determined to impose on everyone. From forcing everyone to tithe to the insurance mafia (or the government, it makes no difference to the person being mulcted) to the intellectual AIDS of elevating certain infantile, disturbed and dangerous people’s feelings to the same stature as facts.

QUOTES OF THE DAY

“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’”

Isaac Asimov

“The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.”

Winston S. Churchill

“I have never voted in my life… I have always known and understood that the idiots are in a majority so it’s certain they will win.”

Louis-Ferdinand Céline

100,000 Spitballs and Not One Hit the Teacher

Guest Post by Southern Sage

Hmm.  Let me start again.  I will not address the military draft.  It does not exist right now, is unlikely to be revived, has always been a power of any government on the planet under certain circumstances, is legal and constitutional in the United States, has been used since before the republic was founded – either by calling up the militia or enlisting soldiers into the regular army – and may be used again, and evading it is as illegal as drinking a super-size Coca Cola in New York City.  I might add that my reference to it in an earlier article was a mere aside.  I am at a loss to see how so many people focused on it while losing sight of my main points.

Nor will I debate the proposition that a nation is its people, not its government, a rather self- evident fact as it is rare for a government to be formed by beings other than people.  I do not propose to defend the current state of the world or, in particular, that part of it occupied by an entity sometimes called the United States of America; that things could be better seems to be a matter of general agreement.  As for voting and our two parties, I tried to make my position clear.

New York Gov. Cuomo grants 35,000 paroled felons right to vote; GOP sees ‘power grab’

In an executive order signed Wednesday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo granted some 35,000 paroled felons the right to vote.

The move by the second-term Democrat came after state Republicans blocked a bill in the state Senate.

“I’m unwilling to take no for an answer,” Cuomo said at the annual convention of the Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network in New York City. “I’m going to make it law by executive order.”

Stucky QOTD: Thumbs Stuff

My most trivial QOTD, ever. However, we all know I’m a double whore … for comments and thumbs.

Yesterday, “Stupid Sunday Shit” seemed to go quite well. There were 80 comments, not bad at all for a Sunday. Voting was amazing; 360 thumbs up, and only 21 thumbs down. Awesome! But, I think we can have an even better love fest.

We have never had a thread with 25+ comments, AND zero down votes. That has nothing to do with the price of tea in China, but I think it would be cool, nevertheless.

Q: What topic can be posted that will get at least 25 comments, and zero thumbs down? Please provide the topic AND the title of the thread.

I will choose the post with the most up votes, and make it either an article or, QOTD, using your title.

Sincerely,

Sucky — promoting peace, unity, kind words, and LOVE here on TBP since the very beginning.

THIS DAY IN HISTORY – First U.S. presidential election – 1789

Via History.com

On this day in 1789, America’s first presidential election is held. Voters cast ballots to choose state electors; only white men who owned property were allowed to vote. As expected, George Washington won the election and was sworn into office on April 30, 1789.

As it did in 1789, the United States still uses the Electoral College system, established by the U.S. Constitution, which today gives all American citizens over the age of 18 the right to vote for electors, who in turn vote for the president. The president and vice president are the only elected federal officials chosen by the Electoral College instead of by direct popular vote.
