This morning (Januay 27, 2020) on NPR I heard a white female novelist describe her difficulty in getting her novel published.  The problem was not that her novel was uninteresting or badly written.  Her problem was that one of the characters was black. Unbeknownst to her, it is now considered cultural imperialism or cultural trespassing—some such term—for a person with white skin to write about even fictional people of color.

Our great challenge in this age is getting white people to think that their preferences are valid. That is, white people can want a public policy or a social custom for no other reason than they want it. Instead, whites are endlessly searching around for some external standard against which they can measure their preference. Only then can they declare that desire valid, because it matches that standard. Whites no longer feel as if what they want is valid because they want it.

There is a strong case that they are.  Having been demonized for many years and intimidated from defending themselves, white people are now intentionally discriminated against by the racial “minorities” (actually vast world majorities) of the people they have been pressured to elevate above them.  Once the “oppressed” are put in charge by dumbshit whites, the whites are really oppressed.

Heterosexuals or straights are also demonized and bullied.  White males are portrayed as rapists, but no one is permitted to say that about the flood of illegal Third World migrants that have overrun Europe and the US.  When young white girls 10 years old are gang-raped by the migrants, it is “racist” to complain.  Everywhere in the Western world, what little is left of it, the political leaders have abandoned the white populations. We only have traitors.

Identity Politics is now the defining characteristic of the liberal/progressive/left and the political ideology of the Democratic Party. It is an ideology of hatred preached against people whose skin is white. Identity Politics is completely inconsistent with a multicultural society.

The West used economic pressure to force South Africa to turn over the government to blacks. The situation remained more or less stable as long as there was only one black political party. However, the appearance of a second black political party resulted in a contest for power based on a competition as to which party hated white South Africans the most.
