SHOW ME THE BARS

Does the U.S. really have 8,133.5 metric tons of PHYSICAL gold?

Why won’t the government allow it to be independently audited?

Where is Germany’s 3,384.2 metric tons? They demanded it back from the U.S. vaults and were told NO.

Gold has been money for centuries. Fiat paper comes and goes and is simply based on the good faith of the country issuing it.

How much faith do you have in your government?

Can you say rehypothecation?

Over the past few days, news has emerged that Russia boosted its gold reserves for the sixth straight month in September. The 37.2 metric ton expansion, valued at $1.5 billion, took the country’s stockpile to 1,149 tons in total. How does that compare with other countries across the world?

The United States is the world’s biggest hoarder of gold by far with a stockpile of 8,133 tons. Germany has about 3,384 tons while the United Kingdom has about 310. Interestingly, gold accounts for 10 percent of Russia’s total reserves compared with 71 percent for the United States.

I read something on a permaculture blog yesterday that said we need to re-think the idea of the word, “Capital.”

Rather than US dollars, measure your wealth in ounces, (ie, precious metals) acres, and hooves.

I believe in transparency, and our government is anything butt. Our POTUS tells us his administration is the most transparent in history, and that almost makes me puke. The IRS can audit me without a wimper, but we cannot audit our countries AU.

Most people don’t understand that if they ‘invest’ in gold – it’s really not physical gold – it’s just a contract tied to the price of gold.

If everything goes to hell – all you will get is worthless paper money!

The stat on China’s reserves is not even close. Conservative estimates have them at 3x that amount. Others believe they have north of 5000 metric tons.

The Chinese are clearly positioning the yuan to replace the dollar as the world’s reserve currency. It won’t happen overnight, but it’s happening before our eyes.

I’m betting that there is almost no gold left in Fort Knox. Chinese gold reserves have to be significantly above 5000 tons. Stand with Rand and BC-LR to all

Why isn’t India on this list?

” In 2011 India imported more gold than any other country—about 1,000 tonnes, or a fifth of global annual supply. That is the same amount that sits in the central bank vaults of Switzerland. Why do Indians love gold?”

India is #11 in gold reserves according to this website:

I doubt the validity/accuracy of every one of those numbers.
