DID YOU VOTE YESTERDAY?

“If voting made any difference they wouldn’t let us do it.” Mark Twain

I’ve concluded we are run by One Party. Voting will change nothing. We are living in a corporate fascist warfare/welfare empire of debt run by billionaires and bankers. The Republican/Democrat kabuki theater is designed to keep the sheeple distracted and angry at each other. This keeps them from focusing on the oligarchs stealing them blind, luring them into debt, and using their children as cannon fodder in un-Constitutional wars around the globe. Since 2000 we have had Republicans in complete control and Democrats in complete control. No matter who is in charge, the welfare state and warfare state grows ever larger. The national debt has grown exponentially under both parties. Neither party will change the status quo because they are the status quo. It’s the people versus the state. We are on course for a financial, economic and societal collapse. Voting will not change this course.

I did not vote yesterday and don’t foresee ever voting again in my lifetime. I judge people by their actions, not their words. The actions of those we have elected have been reckless, corrupt, and disastrous for the future of my children. Homey don’t play that game anymore.

I would love to hear arguments for why I should vote.

For the record. I never said Republicans would repeal Obamacare. I said they will rewrite the law and beg Obama to Veto it. Hide and watch.

Admin, I read this site for the info you provide that is woefully missing from most of today’s media (but readily found on the Internet). You put a particularly good acerbic tone on today’s state of affairs that makes for “food for thought” that is above and beyond most of the other websites that I’ve seen that attempt to tackle these tough issues.

I buy into most of your cynicism, but not 100% of it.

Nope! Voting only encourages them. It give them a sense of legitimacy.

Obama Care is about raising taxes. The Republicans like the Democrats are about raising taxes.
Repeal??? You figure it out.

I remember when BO got elected the first time. Blacks were dancing in the streets, saying, “Now, we are goinna get ours.”

Today, Republicans are dancing in the streets saying, ” now were are going to get ours.” Yup! you’re going to get it, just like the Blacks got it, and get it good and hard.

Sensetti says: “The Keystone pipeline would be a huge financial windfall for the States involved during the construction process, although would not create many permanent jobs.
Roll back EPA rules and regs and put coal miners back to work.
Reduce tax burdens on business, anything is better than what we’ve been doing.”

Sensetti, you just don’t understand the agenda. You’re hopelessly lost in the ‘straw man’, ‘red herring’. MSM propaganda, keeping you occupied with diversions.

WAKE UP, everyone. We ARE hopelessly broke, busted, like pockets turned inside out. It’s every man for himself and the politicians know it. They hope you don’t know it and when you do know it, it will be a shocking surprise to Bubbus Americanus and the politicians, who knew it, secure in their jobs paid for by you, will feign ignorance and shock that ‘gambling is going on here’.

If you think voting will solve our problems, think again. Politicians have one thing in mind, and we’re not it. It’s all about the best interest of those in their circle of power. I don’t have to vote to have a voice because I pay hard earned income taxes. We are the idiots that vote and donate OUR HARD EARNED money to their campaigns. Yet, we’re left with a near $18 trillion deficit and rampant poverty. These are the very basic reasons I don’t vote. We live in a world where a small group of individuals own us, and unless we wake up and smell the coffee, nothing will change. PERIOD!

Given the recent drop in oil prices the Keystone pipeline, though I know investors of it, becomes unattainable. Boehner knows this, it is a inconsequential issue at this time and open to political, meaningless, rhetoric, until oil prices rise.

And the president gets the first spit wad from the new Republican congress that promises to lay siege to the administration if it goes ahead with action on immigration reform. The president is playing with fire and he’s going to get burned.

“Voting is for mindless sheeple who still think they can change a corrupt system through the system.
Voting is an act of stupidity.”
—-Admin

Dumbest fucking statement he’s ever made. Admin was warned early on, by Iska Waren I believe, that voting is MUCH MORE than a state or federal vote for a Congress critter or governor.

It’s also mostly about LOCAL ISSUES. Local taxes, school board members, city/county bonds for whatever, pay raises for local employees, judges, and a whole host of stuff that affects your every day life like property taxes.

If you think the federal system is rigged, leave your fucking ballot blank for those candidates, vote third party, or write in Mickey Mouse. Then focus what else is on the ballot that is local and do some research.

Gee, is that too much to ask? I guess it is for Admin and a whole host of other nimrods on this site.

My computer locks up even using your suggested Startpage Search Engine. I was having trouble- real trouble, not just the usual trouble posting a comment or scrolling down the page. Duck duck go blocks some stuff including the thumbs buttons but it doesn’t lock up my desktop.
