Ramirez nailed it showing another HUGE difference between the Dimocrats and the Republicans. Dimocrats are a bunch of tree hugging nut jobs, Republicans are pro coal, oil, and natural gas production. Dimocrats rejected the keystone pipeline. When the Republicsns take over after the first of the year it will be passed. Is there a difference between the party’s ? Damn straight there is.

Depending on the reference source you use there are currently 185,000 miles of interstate transmission pipelines for petroleum products in the United States and 305,000 miles of inter-, intrastate gas transmission pipelines. These pipelines cross over all manner of terrain from coast to coast and border to border. Yet the fact this one little 1,187 mile pipeline is is causing all this political ping pong is absurd.

Approve it and move forward already the arguments against it from the democratic side of isle are all BS.

The oil is still being moved…just by train. Berkshire Hathaway. [Burlington Northern] 500k barrels a day.

Wouldnt surprise me a bit if Buffet was financing the tree huggers.

Since Obummer’s going to open the floodgates for illegals I wouldn’t be surprised if they now get the pipeline and give all the jobs to the newly minted Democrats.

The Keystone XL pipeline is one of the biggest crock ‘o shit projects ever to be forced down the throat of the American public. This is a pipeline that will move Canadian tar sands straight down the middle of the U.S. over the Ogallala aquifer (see map at link). Not only does this pipeline threaten THE major source of irrigation water for the “breadbasket” of America, NONE of this tar sands oil is destined for domestic use; ALL of the tar sands flow to refineries on the Gulf of Mexico for foreign distribution.

Still think this is such a great idea?
