Rogue President

Rogue President

Asserting a legal and constitutional authority he himself said he did not have, President Obama is going rogue, issuing an executive amnesty to 4 to 5 million illegal aliens.

He will order the U.S. government not to enforce the law against these 5 million, and declare that they are to be exempt from deportation and granted green cards.

Where did Obama get his 4-5 million figure, not 2-4 million, or 5-7 million? Nowhere in law, but plucked out of his own mind, as to what he can get away with. Barack Obama just felt it was about right.

Thus does our constitutional law professor-president “faithfully execute” the laws of the United States he has twice swore to uphold?

Our rogue president has crossed an historic line, and so has the republic. Future presidents will cite the “Obama precedent” when they declare they will henceforth not enforce this or that law, because of a prior commitment to some noisy constituency.

We have just taken a monumental step away from republicanism toward Caesarism. For this is rule by diktat, the rejection of which sparked the American Revolution.

The political, psychological and moral effects of Obama’s action will be dramatic. Sheriffs, border patrol, and immigration authorities, who have put their lives on the line to secure our broken borders, have been made to look like fools. Resentment and cynicism over Obama’s action will be deeply corrosive to all law enforcement.

Businessmen who obeyed the law and refused to hire illegals, hiring Americans and legal immigrants instead, and following U.S. and state law on taxes, wages and withholding, also look like fools today.

Obama’s action makes winners of the scofflaws and hustlers.

Bosses who hired illegals off the books will also receive de facto amnesty. La Raza is celebrating. But, make no mistake, a corrupt corporate crowd is also publicly relieved and privately elated.

Immigrants who waited in line for years to come to America, and those waiting still, have egg on their faces. Why, they are saying to themselves, were we so stupid as to obey U.S. laws, when it is the border-jumpers who are now on the way to residency and citizenship?

When the world hears of the Obama amnesty, millions more from Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East will be coming. And if they cannot get in legally, they will walk in, or fly in, and overstay their visas.

Why not? It works.

That this action will be as much a part of Obama’s legacy as Obamacare is certain. The unanswered question is how the Obama amnesty will be remembered by history.

His aides think that it will be seen as a second Emancipation Proclamation. Perhaps.

But with this amnesty Obama takes custody of and responsibility for the entire illegal population. He is the patron saint of illegal aliens. And for what they do, he will be held accountable, as was Jimmy Carter for the Marielitos Castro sent and Carter welcomed.

If the amnestied illegals contribute to the drug trade and violent crime, that will be Obama’s legacy to his country. If they turn up disproportionately on the welfare rolls, exploding state and federal deficits, that will be Obama’s legacy.

If this amnesty is followed by a new invasion across the border America cannot control, that, too, will be Obama’s gift to his countrymen.

One wonders. Will poor and working class blacks and whites, Hispanics and Asians, welcome this unleashed competition from the amnestied illegals, for jobs where the wages never seem to rise?

In the four decades before JFK, the nation had a pause in legal immigration. During that pause, the Germans, Irish, Italians, Jews, Poles, Greeks and Slav immigrants who had come in from 1890-1920, and their children and grandchildren, were fully assimilated. They had become not only U.S. citizens, but also identifiably American.

The Melting Pot had worked. We had become one nation and one people, almost all speaking the same language, and steeped in the same history, heroes, culture, literature and faiths.

Today, in 2014, after an influx of perhaps 50 million in 50 years, legal and illegal, no longer from Northwest Europe, or Europe at all, but Latin America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, of every race, color, creed, culture and language we seem less a nation than some mammoth Mall of America. An economy, but not a country.

Running in 2008, Obama said he intended to become a “transformational president.” With this decision, he succeeds.

He has accelerated and ensured the remaking of America. Now when the wives and children of the illegals arrive, and their extended families apply for and receive visas, and bring their wives and children, we will become the Third World country of Obama’s dream, no more a Western nation.

But then the community organizer did not much like that old America.

No, he won’t be held responsible. People will write about how great he is.
The next thing will be some horrendous trade deal that will benefit another countries.
The last thing he will do is some kind of giant, Global warming thing right before he leaves.
All of these things will make our lives more expensive, thus harder.
Yeah, He changed things all right.

Bullseye yahsure, He will be golfing with secret service looking after and tending to his whims on our dime, enjoying his new found wealth and grinning at us.

The crime, deterioration in our health care, increase in taxes for schools overcrowded and benefits for our new hard working citizens on the dole will be hours and hours alone.

The MSM that kisses his ass will find out a way to blame it on the Republicans, Bush, or the Tea Party, and the majority of sheeple will come to believe it.

I can just picure him on the TV show circuit he loves to preach on, explaining how he was a martyr who did the right thing despite the efforts of the right to hamper his greatness. A sad scene indeed.

Question: Has Rand Paul called for impeachment proceedings to begin? Has Ron Paul piped in? Has anyone of the 539 cockroaches in CONgress moved to challenge BO? If this does not fit as the PERFECT time to come down hard on this marxist clown then when will Rand/Ron and the rest of our useless .gov officialdom get a pair?

All.the next president has to do is revoke his amnesty. The next president can undo everything Obama has done with a pen.Question is will he ?Republicans are also in favor of amnesty. In my humble opinion they are all traitors who should be shot.

What if the next president is Hitlery? She/It will make BO looks like a rank amateur. What if there will be no time in the future where America is redeemed? How many third worlders will you accept up in here before you protest and will it matter by then? Are you ready to live in a third world country in squaller and poverty? Notice there is no one challenging this lawlessness.

Bea ,I agree . Only hope I have for the nation is an economic collapse. That would probably wake-up enough white people . Only white America will stop this lawlessness. If it doesn’t then we will end up inanother civil war .It doesn’t look promising. These 4th turnings can be a living hell for people and nation .

This is just temporary amnesty that will get revoked by the next public face of the one party dictatorship.

The Repubs are crying crocodile tears to energize their base. They could fix the problem tomorrow: make it a felony to hire the undocumented trespassers. But the big businesses that employ the lawmakers wouldn’t like that so it ain’t gonna happen.

You know it’s hard for those south of our border to compete with the highly subsidized agricultural products we flood their markets with. When they can’t earn enough to hold on to their land, they come up here to do similar farming work (including maintaining the lawns of the people bitching most).

The Republicans are helpless and hopeless in this. Their greatest mistake was to cave in on the government shutdown. Obama became empowered. The Republicans talk of de-funding this action, but Obama will veto any budget bill that de-funds and if the government shutdown the Republicans will be blamed – again. The Republicans have threatened to sue – good luck – the courts might rule on this in January 2017! The Republicans have threatened impeachment – besides not having the votes in the Senate – Republican leaders have tossed cold water on this idea. Obama could do this, and will do more, because Boehner and McConnell talk the talk – but have not walked the walk.

Republicans need to let this Immigration stuff slide. They are going to dig up plenty of dirt on Obama in up coming hearing. They got Lois Lerner’s emails 30,0000 to be exact. I bet there’s a smoking gun in there somewhere, when they find it they need to put her on the stand under oath, she will spill her guts on Obama. Giving Republican a better than 50% chance of Gaining control of Whitehouse, senate and the house in 2016. Then they can move their agenda.

As you well know they will since they are indeed 100% behind the corporate putsch to control not only the government of We the People , but the selection of such as well .

The Republican Party has never at any time in history represented the working class American , and there is no evidence as of late to indicate otherwise..be very careful where to place your trust, it may lead to a loss you can no longer afford.

I know a guy that used to work for my company. Smart guy, good worker..here legally from Peru. His wife is here illegally ( not anymore thanks to Obozo ),his kids were born here. His wife gets food stamps and medicaid for the kids because she claims he’s no where to be found ( they live in the same house ) . He could have gotten healthcare for the kids and wife through our company when he was employed here…he told me why pay for it when I get it for free. He told me that most of his friends ( illegals) were doing the same thing and laughed a the USA for being made up of chumps.

He’s currently self-employed…all cash and he’s got 50K in two trucks…one he paid cash for…yep…we’re chumps.

Once upon the Gray gone by, the Democrat party was the conservative party and any state thus denoted as a Democrat dominated state was considered to be colored red and the opposite was true for the liberal Republican party controlled states which were depicted as colored blue. This is proof positive writ large that party affiliation matters not one wit and left/ right positions of party policy can change with the wind and none who support these apparitions of left/right ideology will have prior warning as when the shift of take place and then the game of destabilizing and diverting the ties that bond common interest begins anew…divide and conquer is ever at play and only a sucker will succumb the the lure that is the politics of appeasing the stupid. It is a game you can never win….play if you want , that’s all.

You folks seem to be unaware of the realities:

1) no laws will be enacted to overturn this edict. Why? Presidential veto will prevent it. And there are insufficient votes to override the veto.

2) Obama could be impeached in the House, but will not be convicted in the Senate. Not enough votes in the Senate to convict.

3) They can sue – but there is no guarantee that it will succeed. Quite the contrary is likely, and it will take a long time to process any lawsuit.

I have thought about this, and seems to me there is one thing and one thing only they can do. They can block all funding of the govt. until this decision is reversed. I mean a total blockade – a filibuster if you will on all monies being appropriated, or simply authorize $1 dollar or something. The president really cannot do anything to over-ride this. He may be able to over-ride debt ceilings and such, but only Congress can authorize payments of money. They can, and should, in my opinion, shut the country down until this asshole Imperial President either caves or resigns.

It would work, guaranteed. But it would be bloody as hell.

“Notice there is no one challenging this lawlessness.”

Wrong. Texas (Attorney General and governor-elect Greg Abbott) has already filed a lawsuit in federal court. It is constitutionally-based. As such, the courts can’t ignore it as “an argument” between the legislature and executive.

And Texas has the horsepower and money to run this sucker all the way to the Supreme Court, where Texas will win. THAT’S the way you put a smack down on this asshole.

Congress at least needs to vote on impeachment to make those who go along with this to stand out so that we know who they are. Down the road they will come after your assets to help pay for the parasites. You can stick a fork into this country. It is done. I tell my children to think about moving to another country.

This is a damn it you do and damn if you don’t situation. You can be sure that Obama or more accurately his handlers have already gamed all those moves. If congress does nothing Obama becomes Dictator by default, he just continues to do what he wants.
—- Obama becomes a Dictator.

Freeze all funding and Obama is prepared to play chicken. The worse things get (this is what Obama wants) the more he will do what he has honed to a fine art and that is to BLAME congress. And then some BIG EVENT will happen, some type of crises (false flag) and the people will scream “SOMEBODY HAS TO DO SOMETHING” and then Obama is prepared to claim he had no choice, he couldn’t allow things to continue getting worse so he had to take action!! He will declare Martial Law “because the people demanded he do so”.
—– Obama becomes a Dictator.

Step 1,,step2,,step3,,everything is going according to plan.

Llpoh is right on all counts. We may need an amendment that stipulates that any/all legislators have standing to ask for judicial review. When an issue (a usurpation) of this importance arises, we shouldn’t have to wait years before they can find someone with “standing”. There should be an expedited route to the SCOTUS – not that that would solve everything.

Stop it, people. You are NOT going to put a halt to this lawless dictator’s nonsense until you prove in a court of law that he is lawless. In the instance of a president, you’re going to have to get your case to the Supreme Court. Here ……

“he (the president) shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed”
—-Article II, Section II, U.S. Constitution

The words “shall take care” are of supreme importance. It is a constitutional command, not a suggestion. Obama is not doing this. The state of Texas is calling him on the “take care” words with its lawsuit.

State lawsuits tend to get on the front burner in federal courts. Texas’ case will likely move to the Supreme Court faster than you think. If it does and the SCOTUS rules in favor of Texas, Obama’s entire administration may collapse like a house of cards, starting with Obamacare.

One more point. Here’s what Congress should do in reaction to Obama’s dictatorship.

Block every fucking nomination he makes to ANY federal executive or judicial position over which he has authority. 100%. No exceptions. From now until the day this useless and dangerous motherfucker leaves office. Do not let him do any more damage than he has already done, especially to the federal judiciary.

No budget gadgets, other than presenting him with a unified congressional budget that includes necessary cuts to wasteful spending (make the cuts outrageous as a bargaining chip). If he vetoes it, it’s on him, not Congress.
