HE WHO WRITES THE LAWS….

The ONLY person in prison related to torture is John Kiriakou who was the whistleblower.

This is par for the course, Snowden and Assange are public enemies #1 and #2 on the lamb.

And the dim are all hopped up about the coming election, as if it is going to change anything. Hope we are still allowed an internet by then.

He who enforces the laws ….

A new study has revealed US cops have the highest rates of obesity among any profession in the country. Along with firefighters and security guards, nearly 41 per cent of boys in blue are obese, according to a study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.

@Stucky, no wonder they need so much war-power from the Feds, they sure as hell couldn’t defend a town on foot! Instead of tip the cow, the locals could start playing tip the pig!

He who wins, also writes the history. My how true that is.

@Golden Oxen. Watch this Sony/Korea hacking thing closely. I’m actually kinda shocked they didn’t parade out Russia, but the PTB must have realized that Putin doesn’t always sit back and allow his country to be made the bad guy silently. Doesn’t the whole scenario seem, I dunno, kinda scripted?

My bet is that this is going to be used to shut down part of the ‘net, and possibly to funnel more federal fiat to Hollywood, as I’ve heard rumors (from people in the industry) that Hollywood is on the verge of a free fall. The top earners (execs and talent) have sucked it dry and like the rest of our mega-corporate economy the “industry” has thrived, the top wages ballooned and the jobs/wealth for the rest of us sent to Asia.

The rumors of Sony’s loss, and the “outrage” of the talent, only leads credence to my guess that this event is going to have HUGE repercussions for the rest of us.

What an interesting time. I pine for the blissful, boring, uninformed days of my youth.
