‘Fodder’ sounds reasonable.
I know virtually nothing about this Bergdahl stuff. He was captured and held prisoner for a long time and then released in exchange for 5 Dudes With Beards from Gitmo. That’s about all I know.
I guess the issue at hand is whether he was captured, or went to the other side of his own accord. Who knows?
I’m guessing “hero” simply because it’s the opposite of the government’s position. Since the government always lies, I figure Bergdahl must be innocent. Fail-safe logic.
Obama said he was a hero. He walked away from his post and men were killed trying to find him. He should be executed.

Someday this will be played out here. Hell, look at the cops, it already is.
So when some brave cop has had enough and comes forward and says, “you are being systematically murdered” he should be executed when some cops, inevitably, die?
I might be wrong, but I am hard pressed to justify killing a man that wanted out of our ME military/bankster insanity, no matter that other murderers died trying to bring him back.
Or, maybe, that is God’s plan to begin with. Had he not wandered away, he might have died in theater, instead of in our free country.
Either way my head and heart hurts for all the effected families.

I’m with TE.
We decry wars. We hate that our young men kill ragheads because “they are following orders”. It fucking sucks.
And then one day, one man decides “Fuck this shit, I’m not doing it anymore.”, and walks away. Why is that considered bad? Should he have stayed on his post, and followed more orders to kill more ragheads?
Hey, I’m sorry soldiers died looking for him. But, The Brass didn’t have to send out the grunts. If a guy quits, why not let him be? Why risk more lives? Revenge? To teach the still subservient other troops a lesson?

Lessons mean more than anything. I am a serf and my life, morality, and belief systems mean nothing to the experts/government in control.
