The pejorative “isolationist” was invented by warmongering assholes back before WWII in an effort to smear them… folks like oh… everyone in the America First movement and their front man, Charles Lindburgh, who just wanted us to mind our own business and stay out of other peoples’ fights.
Which, ironically, was exactly what we tried to do from 1789 through 1914.
