That’s #60 for this year so far…I looked briefly for a count of volcanoes over the last several years for comparison but didn’t find one (must be out there somewhere). I believe the count has gone up for the last couple of years.

The “experts” are predictably poo-pooing the idea that a complete blackout will occur, but given that this is South Africa, that’s probably as good as an assurance as you’re going to get….

The ANC and their cronies – like the SACP – couldn’t run a hot dog cart sucessfully The country is alreay experiencing rolling blackouts and brown outs.. but never a complete blackout.

If tha should happen… it’ll be GO Time…
