Germans – yes, pretty much. Along with much of white northwestern Europe that’s in a similar situation.
Russia – they have a severe drinking problem. But they are aware of that and of their demographic problem, and attempting to deal with both. Will they succeed – uncertain. But recognizing the problem and trying to deal with it puts them WAY ahead of NW Europe.
Japan – yes, for those and other reasons. Their entire culture is either bankrupt or incompatible with the modern world. Yeah, that’s bizarre given how much they have contributed to the modern world – but there they are. Culturally they were happy before the US smashed their front door open and brought them screaming into global trade and modernity. I think they are headed back there, eventually.
If you are individually well off in terms of your health, intelligence and personal attributes, thank 100 generations of ancestors who allowed you to exist, whether through intent, carelessness, or lust.
