Alice’s Restaurant. It was a lifesaver when I did college radio. It was a long enough song so I could run the 75 yards to the can, take a speed dump and make it it back before it ended.

Saw him about 2 to 3 weeks ago in New Bedford. I did not have high expectations, but the concert was quite good. He still sounds good. His daughter Sarah has a beautiful voice. His son plays keyboard. Nice family gig, and he still has a family compound in western Massachusetts.I do not know if he is so much a liberal ideologist as much as an anti-government type.
