One of my all time favorite bands. I must have seen them 25 times in concert.

I was on the Radio DJing at a 100,000 watt FM rock n roll station in the Florida panhandle when their plane went down. I spent the next three hours spinning nothing but LS and talking fans down. Many were pissed because they thought the crash was a station stunt. When they learned it was real many just melted down. That was a really tough moment for me because I like their music.
Here’s my favorite, and it gives away a lot about the band. And BTW the “Street Survivors” album cover was redone after the crash, eliminating the flames. This link shows the original.
