Anonymous. Snowden did not give any information to any foreign countries or to any of our enemies. Everything that was disbursed to the media was first presented to our government to have them examine the information to be released first and to let Snowden’s team if it was a threat to national security. The only things that came out were things that embarrassed our government and government officials and evidence of war crimes committed by them.

I wrote letters for 20 years and rarely ever got a response let alone any hint that they represented me. Snowden took a moral stand and executed it. He did not release any classified information to foreign governments, and published only what pulled our own embarrassing intelligence community’s panties down around their ankles.

As far as Snowden goes, I don’t have enough info to decide whether he broke the law or not. Unfriendly, I just did a quick read of the GC and it doesn’t look like Iran is party to those GC protocols. It’s not likely to be all that important in today’s lawless world anyway.
