Trump’s Geographic Landslide

Submitted by Michael Shedlock via MishTalk.com,

Donald Trump won the presidency, but Hillary won the Popular Vote by a margin of 206,379 or so.

That fact caused Simon Rosenberg, a veteran Democratic strategist and the president of the NDN think tank to moan about a Democratic Party in Crisis.

“We are the only democracy in the developed world where if you win more votes you don’t control the government and the legislature. There is not a wholesale rejection of the Democratic party and the Democratic brand, that’s not what happened last night despite the fact we now have less power than we’ve had since 1928.”

Let’s investigate Rosenberg’s complaint another way.

Geographic Landslide

geographic-landslide

Geographically speaking, Trump won at least 80% of the Nation. The only states Hillary carried are Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

Trump won every county in Oklahoma and West Virginia. Trump won all but one county in Wyoming, and Kansas. Trump won all but two counties in North Dakota, Kentucky, Tennessee, Utah, and Nebraska.

Nearly the entire state of Minnesota, Illinois, New York, Oregon, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, Michigan, etc., went for Trump.

Geographically speaking, except for big cities and a few isolated areas, the country cannot stand Hillary.

Popular vote vs. Electoral vote: Do we really want unions and socialists in big cities directing all of US policy?

Given the history of Democrat voter fraud across the country, I don’t think that popular vote number is a valid measure.

So Hillary won the popular and Trump won the electoral.

Everybody’s a winner here, that should make the left happy since it likes to see everyone in the competition given a ribbon so they won’t feel bad about themselves.

That’s what I said to my wife. She was for HRC (!) and I stood for Trump. After all, we weren’t eligible to vote. Hope she’s sent to prison, Hillary I mean. WBRGDS from Finland!

The electoral college like “super delegates” looks and sounds bad on its face but at least the electoral college appears to maintain a steady even hand to prevent the Democratic REPUBLIC of Independent States (our form of government) from becoming 3 wolves & a sheep voting on what’s for dinner ! I truly wish media and politicians would stop referring to our democracy and use the descriptive term Republic ! As for super delegates still not clear , it sounds like the god old boy network polished up and repackaged !

I hate to be the guy who stinks up the elevator, but here goes…

Yes, maybe the Trump vote included a lot more territory, and it looks good on a map — but it is really a very weak point and not one that we should embrace as being somehow indicative of how popular Trump was vs The Witch. I may be an old unreconstructed proponent of natural rights, but the entire purpose of an election is to find out what PEOPLE want. The trees, the creeks, the pastures and the mountains don’t get a vote. Metaphorically and politically speaking, screw ’em. On the day that area becomes a real factor, expect the libs to annex a million square miles of ocean to California, Oregon and Washington.

The map, if it shows anything, shows that people who live too close together, and who spend too much time in crowded cities, all go a little crazy. Personally, I think that is a much better take away point for consideration. Humans are social animals, but there is a limit to how close you can pack them before their minds start to malfunction and they vote for more and more evil.

“The trees, the creeks, the pastures and the mountains don’t get a vote.”

True.

But the thousands of small towns, cities, ranches, and farms do.

That’s the point…these areas are the other half of the US population.

The only ‘surprise’ to me on this political map is Colorado and Nevada. The casino economy of Las Vegas explains Nevada. Harry Reid built a formidable machine with the SEIU to get hotel busboys and maids to the polls and California liberals seeking housing they can afford probably explains that ugly strand of blue in Colorado. The rest is the black belt of the South and the teeming immigrant populations of our coastal cities.

No way Hillary won the popular vote. Right here in NC, the State was solid red all the way up and down the ticket, then there were “issues” in Durham, requiring a last minute lawsuit to keep the polls in the ‘hood open several hours late. McCrory won the state by 50k votes, but oh here come 90,000 surprise votes in from Durham after everyone else was closed. Uh huh. Oh, and those 90,000 voted at a statistically impossible ratio to flip the lead to the Democrat by 5k votes. Uh huh. Same shit in Fairfax, Chicago, LA, Las Vegas, NYC, Broward Co, etc etc.

Net result is that you really have to factor in about a 10-15% handicap in favor of the Dems with the bias of the media, google, facebook, twitter, voter fraud, etc.

Hillary won the popular vote? We need to factor in the rigged votes, the double votes, the dead persons votes, the multiple adjusted votes, and the downright false manipulated count votes. When you do that my estimate is Trump won by 2 million votes and a final electoral total of 306.

You all know about science fiction writers and their ability to forecast the future way ahead of time – well, it appears the SJW’s are so weak in the brain case department that they are the fodder for the Jedi Mind Trick.

I am somewhat sleeping in, depressed that I have to look at that bitch for four years. It is around 7:05 AM, I open my eyes a little, and see the wife coming to my side of the bed. She kisses me on the forehead and leans over to my ear and states,”Trump won the election”. My eyes are as big as .50 pieces, and I say you are bull shitting me!!
