Movies and Television have always been the point of the spear in this, they are what first implants the idea of normalcy in us without our knowing it so we follow along and accept the rest of the agenda.
This is done gradually in degrees, first simple suggesting scenes that don’t actually show anything eyebrow raising but imply that such is occurring then more and more explicit scenes till we reach the point of acceptance with almost x rated bedroom scenes of every possible combination on almost every move or tv show when it neither adds anything to the story or is more and more frequently not necessary to it or even related to the story plot.
Know how you’re being manipulated and point it out to others, don’t stand by and let it happen without taking a stand against it (at the very least, stop watching the movie or series as soon as it pops up and, if you’re bold enough, encourage others to do the same for the same reasons).
If you don’t, you’ll see it become normal, accepted, and encouraged.

Joining a friend from work at her reading club, I stumbled into a strange Gen X/Millennial Blended group of friends who invited me to join their intellectual exploration of modern literary writers. I probably joined 5 or 6 meetings and discussions which included such epics as Perks of Being a Wallflower and the recently published Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, but after reading a subtle, well-written novel from the list about using orphans in the sci-fi as companions for older men and women living alone whose lifestyles precluded their having their own offspring, but whose money could provide education beyond belief for the poor unwanted children of the poor. The children, in return, would be companions and consorts for the lonely successful man or woman, depending on patron preference. It was creepy, but so subtly done, it was easily dismissed as something the children came to enjoy and look forward to even. Very creepy and I have forgotten the Title, Author and even the names of the characters, though some of the scenes are vivid in my mind, like the scene in the personal s&m chamber the man discovers his two new wards playing bondage. (The hero and his female sidekick, cast into sexual slavery together as toddlers, remain devoted to one another throughout the book, in spite of the fact the hero is gay and eventually marries their patron.)
The book itself was well written and while the theme was disturbing to me, I found myself Almost Persuaded* in accepting the suggestion children were better off loved and cared for by their abusers than alone on the street exposed to pimps and druglords.
So, after I sat through the discussion (having wisely abstained from commenting until I heard what the “groupthink” extracted from the novel’s subject matter), I surmised my very smart contractor friend whose National Merit Scholarship paid for her degree so her father bought her car surrounded herself with idiots, whose weird paintings and sculptures adorning their chic little apartments where they hosted bullshit intellectual discussions about the nature of man while serving fake sushi on little trays with chopsticks and pretending to be cultured.
But, during the ride home, she and I discussed the book further and I discovered she did not see what I saw and so, determined to take the better side.
What I “saw” was the entire setting of the fantastical world of the future where orphans were offered various types of sexual enslavement lacked any sign of a relationship between a parent and a child. No character were shown with their own children, either small or adult, though there was interaction between the child protagonists and other children. So, when faced with the crisis and decision that determines the male child worthy of reward, the male child can choose between a high-dollar life of a revered gigolo OR he can save the only family he’s ever know, the girl, by marrying her (I forgot WHY). When he gives up the money and fame, he earns the TRUE HERO’s reward. The old guy who took them in to teach them how to be good courtesans to the rich and powerful they would be “escorting” married the hero, having fallen in love with him as a young man. How very Woody Allen.
The resolution to the central problem (orphans being prostituted and abused) offered no true “choice” at all. Where were the PRODUCERS of children in the book? Parents: It did not have any.
I have contacted my old friend via email to see if she remembers the book/author. I don’t expect her to answer. She and her partner travel a lot and she took a civil service position as a GS-12 for job security. We have lost contact. I stopped attending the meetings shortly after.

People are fed up with what they perceive as the left’s blatant immorality and identity politics for marginal groups. Worse, the left continues to flaunt it in the faces of those that would oppose them in their moral decadence.
Attempting to normalize or legitimize pedophilia is certainly a case of skating on very thin ice by the left. Have any of you actually seen the show? Lady in the video reminds me of Tipper Gore back in the 80’s crusading against popular music. I could say, that her accent is just an attempt to normalize a funny way of talking and demand it be pulled from YouTube, but that doesn’t make much sense does it?
