Sprung this while I was sitting in the common room with a Black guy. I told him and everyone else that I used the word. I didn’t care then and I don’t now.

This guy has more common sense and positive reality testing than that entire crowd.
It was awesome. Nobody was going to get physicial with him because he is 1) very large and fit, 2) black, 3) told his story in a non threatening way.

He might not be the most articulate guy on the block, but his grasp of the basics had a big impact on the people standing around him, you could see it in their faces.
The courage to simply speak your mind is such a rare thing these days that when someone unsheathes that weapon there’sno defense against it.
Clearly there are. I mean, the backlash against globalization worldwide is proof of that.
