QUOTE OF THE DAY

“The whole gospel of Karl Marx can be summed up in a single sentence: Hate the man who is better off than you are. Never under any circumstances admit that his success may be due to his own efforts, to the productive contribution he has made to the whole community. Always attribute his success to the exploitation, the cheating, the more or less open robbery of others. Never under any circumstances admit that your own failure may be owing to your own weakness, or that the failure of anyone else may be due to his own defects – his laziness, incompetence, improvidence, or stupidity.”

Equality is a myth. Leftists can’t seem to wrap their tiny brains around the difference between equal rights vs equality.
Nobody will pay me a rock star’s salary to sing or play guitar–I am not a naturally talented musician.
Nobody will pay me millions to dunk a basketball–I am not overly tall, a high jumper or in my prime years–I am not equal to a pro athlete in sports.
Nobody will pay to see my face on a magazine cover or commercial–I am not of the top 1% in beauty or physical appeal–I am not equal in looks.
There are dozens and dozens of things I am not qualified to do because I do not have the talents or God-given ability to do them–I am not equal to those with those talents.
I have the equal right to play guitar in my home, shoot some hoops in my driveway and have my ugly mug plastered throughout my family photo albums–these are equal rights, not equality.
I DO have talents that place me in a smallish pool of humans who can do what I do well–for this I am paid well. I do not owe what I earn from my talents and effort to those less talented anymore than Lebron James is gonna send a check in the mail to everyone who can’t hang on a hoop with one hand, swinging back and forth and pounding their fist on their chest.
Marx should have said, “To each according to his abilities, for the rest, to each according to their efforts.”

Wow, really good analysis. Why can’t that be taught in our schools rather than the “equality” lie. And, make no mistake, that communist lie is being pushed big-time.
