She calmly spoke the truth. However, to many other African-Americans, she’ll be a sellout or an Aunt Jemima, just as has happened to Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Larry Elder, and other successful and intelligent blacks who did not submit to the victimization narrative.
Thomas Sowell is a brilliant writer, for those who aren’t familiar with him. I only wish I’d learned of his works earlier on. There are a few books of his I want to eventually read. “Black Rednecks & White Liberals” is absolutely outstanding (the part on slavery was an eye-opener).

Whether she was right or wrong (black woman destroys white privilege myth ) I found a ray of hope. We’re all well aware of the wrongs of our past against people’s from countries seemingly forgotten by time. Constant reminders are everywhere. But there were nearly always at least a few Caucasians (abolitionist, Freedom marchers, lawyers) stood up against injustices to help the oppressed, many of which paid a price. What has pissed me off is now the tide has turned you can’t find a march, demonstration, movement, or group fighting against black aggression/crime/lies against Caucasians, especially white males. If you’ve never lived in a predominantly black city, especially one in the south, you don’t know the half of it. This lady, in her own way, is only doing what’s right in a world that despises the righteous.
