SECOND FOUNDATION: EMPIRE CRUMBLING

In Part One of this article I analyzed the similarities of Isaac Asimov’s Foundation Trilogy to Strauss & Howe’s Fourth Turning, trying to assess how Donald Trump’s ascension to power fits into the theories put forth by those authors. In Part Two of this article I compared and contrasted Donald Trump’s rise to power to the rise of The Mule in Asimov’s masterpiece. Unusually gifted individuals come along once in a lifetime to disrupt the plans of the existing social order. Despite the forlorn hope Donald Trump or some other savior can reverse our course, decades of missteps, dreadful decisions, ineffectual leadership, and unconcealed treachery have paved a path to destruction for the American Empire.

American Empire Crumbling

“Mr. Advocate, the rotten tree-trunk, until the very moment when the storm-blast breaks it in two, has all the appearance of might it ever had. The storm-blast whistles through the branches of the Empire even now. Listen with the ears of psychohistory, and you will hear the creaking.”Isaac Asimov, Foundation

“Now any dogma, based primarily on faith and emotionalism, is a dangerous weapon to use on others, since it is almost impossible to guarantee that the weapon will never be turned on the user.” – Isaac Asimov, Foundation

The elitist ruling class gathers at Davos and their secretive Bilderberg meetings to plot the course of the world, divvying up the vast wealth plundered through their globalization schemes, and developing the newest propaganda narrative to keep the global masses confused, distracted, and powerless to fight back. Despite their wealth and power, an epic level of hubris is always their undoing.

The normal people have begun to fight back but, like the rotten tree trunk Galactic Empire, the “mighty” American Empire, forged from the debris of two world wars, awaits the storm blast which will expose its true level of rot. The American Empire is crumbling under the weight of military overreach; the burden of unpayable debts; currency debasement; cultural decay; civic degeneration; diversity and deviancy trumping common culture and normality; pervasive corruption at every level of government; and the failure of shortsighted leaders to deal with the real problems.

You can hear the creaking as the winds of this Fourth Turning winter howl through the branches of this dying empire. Trump may have forced the Deep State Second Foundation to reveal itself as they seek to destroy him, but the relentless decline of the American Empire continues unabated. Tinkering around the edges of a healthcare system designed to benefit mega-corporations and the Deep State will do nothing to reverse or even delay the decline.

Slowing the growth of government when the national debt is already $20 trillion and headed to $30 trillion within the next decade won’t cure the rot in our tree trunk. Completely ignoring the $200 trillion of unfunded welfare state liabilities helps accelerate the inevitable collapse of this empire. Cutting taxes while expanding the war making machine known as the military industrial complex does nothing to reverse what is already in motion.

In addition to the absolutely quantifiable reasons why the American Empire will collapse, there are demographic, cultural, and societal trends which will contribute dramatically to the fall. The rapidly aging populace, with 10,000 Americans per day turning 65 years old, is the driving force towards national bankruptcy, as this inexorable demographic tsunami sweeps over the fraying fabric of welfare state promises.

The onslaught of illegal immigrants and purposeful execution of a plan by the effete liberal elite to weaken our common American culture through the insertion of Muslim refugees into our communities, is undermining the shared values which built the country. The immigrants who built this country assimilated, learned the language, worked hard, and adopted our common culture. The hordes invading America at this time hate our values and refuse to assimilate. This Soros funded effort to create diversity havoc throughout the world is part of the globalization one world order plan.

As Europe disintegrates under the unrelenting wave of violent refugees creating upheaval, chaos, and spreading religious zealotry through viciousness, the next target is the mighty American Empire. Fighting in the streets between the normal law abiding Trump supporters and the Soros funded, draped in black, flag burning, social justice warrior criminals has begun. Widespread societal strife is just around the corner.

When the next financial crisis, created by the Deep State to further their plans, destroys the remaining wealth of the barely surviving middle class, all hell will break loose in the streets. The 86% of the country occupied by red state, gun owning, Trump supporters will openly go to war against the condescending, left wing, violence provoking blue state liberals. Blood will be spilled in copious amounts. It always does during Fourth Turnings.

Will Trump’s reign resemble the reign of The Mule? The Mule’s conquest was astonishingly fast. He defeated the Foundation and established the Union of Worlds after only five years. The unpredictability of his arrival and rare mental talents befuddled the Foundation. Then he inexplicably paused in his campaign of conquests. Instead he launched repeated expeditions in search of the Second Foundation. The mysterious Second Foundation inhibits The Mule from further conquest as he is consumed with finding their location and paralyzed with fear they can defeat his mentalic powers.

The Second Foundation comes briefly out of hiding to face the threat of The Mule. It is revealed to be an assemblage of the most intelligent humans in the galaxy, descendants of Seldon’s psychohistorians. Using the force of its strongest minds, the Second Foundation ultimately wears down the Mule. They succeed in defeating the Mule, transforming him into a relatively harmless individual, lacking ambition, and no longer a threat to the Seldon Plan. His destructive posture is adjusted to a benign one. He returns to rule over his kingdom peacefully for the rest of his life, without any further thought of conquering the Second Foundation.

Trump has had an astonishingly fast rise to power. He went from frivolous reality TV star to the most powerful leader on earth in the space of two years. With his clownish exploits and rhetoric, he rose to power through being underestimated every step of the way – infuriating his many enemies who miscalculated his level of political savvy and persuasion skills. Unless he is overthrown by the Deep State or killed, he will be able to put his imprint on the nation for at least four years and possibly eight.

His first two months in power will likely reflect his entire presidency. The Washington establishment and sinister Deep State players will attempt to thwart Trump’s every move. They have already impeded his immigration controls and attempt to repeal and replace Obamacare, while using their illegal surveillance state techniques to undermine his administration.

The Second Foundation, through unyielding pressure and generating fear of the unknown into the mind of The Mule, was able undermine his plans of conquest and turn him into a non-disruptive, toothless, nonthreatening, passive figurehead. As Trump’s best laid plans are obstructed, agenda foiled, and legislation hindered, will his enthusiasm for governance wane?

The surveillance agencies who are supposed to act on his behalf are clearly trying to subvert his presidency. Leaks and fake news designed to sabotage the credibility of Trump and his administration will continue. Will the fear of retribution from mysterious surveillance state operatives convince Trump to fall into line and become a submissive lackey, no longer making waves for the Deep State?

I have no illusions Trump is some sort of savior who will reverse decades of political corruption, currency debasement, financial market rigging, global military missteps, cultural decay, pervasive entitlement mindset, and out of control espionage operatives. At best, he will slow some aspects of the decline over a short time frame. More likely, he will provoke his enemies to such an extent the decline will be accelerated due to civil and/or global war braking out. The oncoming financial collapse will further push the country toward the brink. It’s not a matter of if, but when. And the when is closer than most people imagine.

The seeds of destruction for the American Empire were planted as Ben Franklin departed the Constitutional Convention two hundred and thirty years ago responding to a question from Mrs. Powell that they had given the people a republic, if they could keep it. The seeds were slow to take root, but the transition from republic to democracy insured long-term decline as the people voted for more benefits, paid for by their fellow citizens and financed by debt.

With the secretive creation of the privately owned Federal Reserve in 1913, the debasement of our currency was begun. The true birth of the American Empire occurred with surrender of Germany & Japan at the conclusion of World War II. As the only major power not in physical and economic shambles, America dominated the world until its hubris kicked in during the late 1960s with the birth of the welfare/warfare state financed by debt. Closure of the gold window in 1971 sealed our fate.

We’ve crossed our Rubicon with the preservation and expansion of empire bankrupting the nation. We just refuse to admit it. It’s already a done deal. Default is baked in the cake. It’s happened to the Greeks, Romans, Spanish, Dutch, British, and many other civilizations throughout history. The path to destruction is always the same because the actions of humans in large numbers are entirely predictable. The American Empire has exploited all of the productive people, leaving nothing left to invest in the future. Investment by corporate America today constitutes greedy CEOs buying back their stock to boost earnings per share and share price in order to earn multi-million dollar bonuses.

The globalization scam was the last dying gasp to exploit the dwindling resources of the planet and the people. There is nothing left to fund the bread and circuses keeping the ignorant masses distracted, amused, and fed. The monetary machinations of the Federal Reserve have reached their limit. Economic crisis is inevitable before this Fourth Turning runs its course.

The economic meltdown will likely result in the final breakup of the American empire. The best laid plans of Deep State billionaire intellectuals will be for naught. The law of large numbers will win again. All empires eventually die, and life will go on, unless the psychopaths controlling this country blow the planet up rather than relinquish their wealth and power. Is history already written or do we as individuals have a say?

“Throughout you have invariably relied on authority or on the past—never on yourselves.”Isaac Asimov, Foundation

“But Empire building also bears the seeds of its own destruction. The closer a state comes to the ultimate goal of world domination and one-world government, the less reason is there to maintain its internal liberalism and do instead what all states are inclined to do anyway, i.e., to crack down and increase their exploitation of whatever productive people are still left.

Consequently, with no additional tributaries available and domestic productivity stagnating or falling, the Empire’s internal policies of bread and circuses can no longer be maintained. Economic crisis hits, and an impending economic meltdown will stimulate decentralizing tendencies, separatist and secessionist movements, and lead to the break-up of Empire. We have seen this happen with Great Britain, and we are seeing it now, with the US and its Empire apparently on its last leg.”Hans-Hermann Hoppe

Alright buddy. You repeatedly mention that Trump’s canny ability to outmaneuver his adversaries and has a proven record of being constantly under-estimated and presumed dead, lying, and done for… only to be proved right, stronger than ever, and ascending.

Then you proclaim, ” I have no allusions.. cannot… only postpone .. “, etc. Dude. You don’t want to believe what you know to be true. IF anyone could pull it off…. it would be this guy… who you have doubts about , and yet, you recognize , kinda, what he’s pulled off. If not him, than no one. But your argument for merely a “delay” in the doom of the country doesn’t match the other two articles you wrote leading up to this. And a Fourth turning and bloodshed might very well not occur in the US. WWII and WWI were fought everywhere but here. Soldiers died, fortunes made, fortunes lost, and the United States came out of both a changed nation. As shall it will likely happen again.

I don’t see a bloody fight in the US though, nor a financial collapse. All they have to do is mint a 20 Trillion dollar coin. It would cause craziness, but … we’re far from a collapse. Now, there is a political thriller going on and one of our political parties is up to their eyeballs in trouble.

Unlike the time before World Wars 1 and 2, as I understand that history, now we’re itching for an internal fight here in the USA. We’re not talking to each other any more. And we could have stayed out of both of those world wars. Wilson put us into WW1 after running for reelection on “He kept us out of the war”. FDR let Pearl Harbor get hit, then used it to order us into the war. He never even said that “day that will live in infamy” was a surprise. Listen to the speech, he doesn’t say it. So in both cases we were doing fine over here, and we got sent “over there” by presidential order to settle things, then come home. This is different.

As a sort of conservative or populist, I sometimes go looking for what the other side has to say. After all I am from that tradition — those are my people too. But when I go have a look, I don’t find the other side of the issues, but the promotion of other, false issues. “Russian Hacking” over and over, obfuscation on top of lie on top of obfuscation. I get no value, no perspective, really only contempt. I turn it off. I don’t plan to renew my cable TV subscription when it expires. Even the sports shows are infected. They have no decency!

I don’t see much of a chance for dialogue. The populists are onto the leftists and are sick to death of them. The leftists are proclaiming themselves “the resistance”, simply that because they cannot state a decent principle that they stand for. They stand for the preservation of all existing corruption, I guess. And both sides are spoiling for a fight.

Uncle max, “I don’t see a bloody fight in the US though, nor a financial collapse. All they have to do is mint a 20 Trillion dollar coin. It would cause craziness, “.
Craziness is an understatement. Minting a 20 Trillion dollar coin would be the equivalent of the nation defaulting on its debts. Mathematically, at that point, you might as well take your dollar bills and wipe your hind region with them. Laundry detergent would become a form of money at that point, and the IRS would not even be able to enforce tax laws, as they can only tax in worthless dollars. This would cause BOTH a financial collapse AND bloody fight, in one shot. Clearly, you have no experience in economics or business, because what you say above is not only a trigger point for what you claim it would fix, it is THE trigger point.
This type of reasoning is why Americans have such a problem with debt. They do not understand that money is just a measurement, and that the real point is rationing of goods and services in a finite world. The measurement has to MEAN something for you or I to get up in the morning and perform tasks and feel it is worth it. Productive people will NOT get up and work for something that is worthless. This explains why productivity is so low right now, and small business / entrepreneurship is at generational lows. Little incentive for producers to produce.

Anon, I agree with you about the coin. Meant to be kinda in jest b/c it would have obvious terrible effects, and yet, after what the Fed has done since the 1990’s and esp 2008, we’re now so far into bizzaro-land I think nothing is off the table with them. Spinning plates… and yet, instead of a collapse ( that I’ve been expecting for 15 years) we get more spinning plates. So I give up. I actually think they are going to keep this up for a 100 years… because it works because the rest of the world is in even worse shape than us. With Britain leaving the EU, I expect turmoil to increase the next 2 years over there. Oil and fracking here in the US are having destabilizing effects on OPEC and the world oil markets, and for the first time in memory, the US is not being held hostage. We have our problems, but problems are worse other places.

The left has the megaphone of the press and they have the Universities to throw riots. I do not see anything worse than what the country went through than the early 70’s with the riots and bombings. The good news is Trump. A new generation is seeing things with fresh eyes and so far I like what I’m seeing. I do see a major war happening though… but not in the US… and we might even stay out of it. That 20 trillion dollars is a great excuse to stay home and fix our problems.

Anon, I agree with you. But there is an old saying that you don’t hear anymore, “You can’t get blood from a turnip”. Whoever made that saying never met our government! Somehow they just keep on keeping on and their nose always stays a little above water. Is there a collapse in the short future? I would think so, but the boys and girls of the Beltway may work another miracle. Frankly, as much as it pains me to say it, The Donald will probably wind up dead on the street just as Kennedy did, and just as they had planned for Reagan, though he was fortunate enough to survive, he still got the message. We are dealing with totally spoiled rotten psychopaths and God Himself only knows what they will do to prevent their own fall. Either way it bodes no good for any of us. I fully anticipate that somewhere between now and the Judgement Seat of Jesus Christ a very violent death awaits the most of us.thanks

Uncle Max – Never say NEVER. The USA is not untouchable, our Federal Government has many, many enemies that would love to seek and serve revenge both inside and outside of this nation. Civil War is being fomented, make no mistake about that as we see epic levels of dissension, division and polarization amongst all levels of our socioeconomic structure. It is with absolute gullibility (or hubris, not sure which one with you) to believe that America will never see widespread bloodshed through some type of war scenario on its hallowed soil. As the author has stated, “It is not matter a matter of if, but WHEN”. This writer is undoubtedly CORRECT, we are going to see a part or perhaps a total war fought by Americans on American land. Absorb this fact, understand it, prepare for it – this is going to happen regardless of your head-in-the-sand mentality. ALL of the signs are there, right in front of your face. Disregard at your own risk, the rest of us will plan accordingly…

It is not about outside display of power or even internal economic problems. It is about a moral and spiritual fall that precedes those. Many, too many people have lost this compass for the empire to continue. It is the first and foremost lesson one needs to learn from history.

Khrushchev was right when he said that they will destroy us from within. In spite of Trump, it’s happening before our very eyes. They infiltrated all of our institutions, including most churches, and now control the “intellectuals” and dependent masses. And, now with an apparent strong challenge to their supremacy, they will resort to the violent & destructive option to maintain control.

We have two options, either build up our defenses, lock & load, and wait, or, give yourself to Christ and await your slaughter for the life after this. I think that a lot of us are conflicted and on the fence about that, when only the latter is the right option-if you are a true Christian.

Although the seeds of destruction have taken root and are increasingly beginning to bloom, like corpse flowers; it will be interesting to see how historians will remember Trump. Was he a genuine “middle finger flip” by a deplorable remnant in a final act of defiance against dark powers? A quixotic patriot who got in over his head? Or, a part of the plan to accelerate the disintegration and eventual abolishment of the sovereign nation-state?

In reading this series, I keep thinking about Trump’s advisor, Steve Bannon. He replaced Paul Manafort in the final months of the 2016 presidential election and steered Trump back towards playing hardball. He is a former naval officer with two Masters Degrees and is a historical documentarian with a full grasp of both American history and generational turnings. He didn’t get to where he is today without a lot of hard work, strategizing, balls and intelligence.

If you haven’t done so yet, listen to some of Bannon’s speeches and/or interviews on YouTube. He was an early advocate and ubiquitous promoter of the Tea Party. In one speech in 2011, he commented on how the American Civil War could have been avoided. Although in that interview, he didn’t elaborate, he seemed to exude a confident understanding of both American History AND her future.

During what is being called the “TrumpCare Debacle” of last week, ask yourself why a guy with Steve Bannon’s history and comprehension, would even remotely consider an Obamacare-Lite plan for the American people who Trump has publically professed to “love”. Did Trump go renegade? Did Trump’s liberal leanings cause him to overrule Bannon? Was Trump implementing the Pelosi Stratagem of passing it to see what was in the plan? Was it a long play to take out Ryan? Or, a honey trap designed as a pyrrhic victory for the Devil’s butler, Chuck E. Schumer, and his ilk?

Some of us may realize how the Deep State desires a controlled demolition of the U.S. so they can burn the Constitution before building a new one-world system upon its ashes. But, what we don’t know for sure is that which is truly going on behind the curtains on the world stage. Perhaps an unknown Phoenix will be raised upon wings of liberty? Or, it could be Trump just flew too close to the sun.

We’ll know eventually.

In the meantime, GREAT series Admin. Epic. First class, all the way.

When I hear the term “Deep State”, I’m thinking (a significant part of the) Beast out of the Earth. That second beast in Revelation 13 that your preacher man never talks about. I don’t know about 4th turnings but I do know deep down inside that when all is said and done, that beast’s power will increase globally to be the enforcer of the one world government and one world religion. Our soon to be borderless world is moving in that direction at the will of the first beast of Revelation 13, the beast of the sea, the Catholic Church, who never changes.

Good metaphor–A tree. Many hardwoods mature and even start to hollow out in the middle at 70 to 80 years. More water in the soil can slow the hollowing, but it always hollows. New growth of trees comes about in three ways, the least suspected being the most common. The other two ways, from seeds and from the outstretched root system, don’t work well in a forest setting with many other competing trees. Those new saplings emerge with a sort of nutritional momentum, only to wither and die from the dense canopy blocking the sunlight. The primary means of new tree growth is for the death of the original, which prompts new saplings to start reaching out from the base of the rotting trunk. But, as long as the original tree still stands, no viable new saplings emerge. Even if the dying hollowed out tree is severely pruned back, no new saplings. The regeneration of that dying tree and exploitation of that large vacant opening of ground and sunlight in the forest canopy can only be filled when the old hollowed out dying tree is cut down at the base. This sends a signal to the well-established root system to send up new shoots. The root system, well-developed and persistent, will survive on, for a time, after the old tree is dead. Many new growths will emerge from the base of that old tree. Usually only one will survive, though sometimes you see two and three healthy trunks emerge, never as large and healthy as one, though. Yes, good analogy by IA. I read EVERY one of his science fiction novels, when going through that phase. I don’t mean that to be demeaning to sci-fi enthusiasts, but non-fiction became so much more interesting and relevant as I got older.

How about a regeneration of our country? We still have the best Constitution in the world.
Love Asimov! It must change and, as Clif High, bot expert, points out: It only took 5% of early Americans to pull of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. 5% of the people made that change for us all. So, why aren’t we working toward that vision of being the 5% this time around who stand against the fascism and decay? BTW, it’s not the people who get the entitlements that are the problem, it’s the politicians who organize these benefit structures that are the problem. The 2 parties could have dealt with the disastrous Obama care, but decided not to do anything…..fine, health care continues to crumble, but not their health care, of course. They get the real entitlements….Congress, Senate and the rest of the bureaucrats. FDR came up with Social Security, not Aunt Minnie.

What’s depressing is the lack of will in people. They don’t seems to be able to disconnect from electronics enough to make real decisions.

Fish Fry, I am an old coot who fought for constitutional government my adult life. Believe me, we lost. Our Constitution did not fail us, we failed it.

I too hoped for taking the offense like our Founders but I grew old (and taken out of the fight) waiting. The liberty movement has basically taken a defensive, leaderless approach. Maybe it was for the best. We have some savvy folks like Stewart Rhodes and Brandon Smith to name two. I trust them.

Liberty can be taken slowly and incrementally but it cannot be regained that way. If America’s last gasp is a whimper it is game over. If it ends in chaos (financial collapse, civil war over sanctuary cites etc.) leading to anarchy maybe we will be motivated to take the offense. In light of such I recommend: Avoid crowds. Read ‘Patriots’ and act accordingly with a survival mindset. Yes, it probably means moving. (Parents, the two greatest gifts you can give your children are Jesus Christ and schooling at home). No man is an island though. Form a local Oath Keepers’ CBT team or equivalent. 73’s!

Likely because they cannot ascribe a method to his reductive predilections in 140 characters or less. Trump has mastered the medium and has become an unstoppable message.

Yes leaks and fake news designed to sabotage the credibility of Trump and his administration will continue. But so will the tweets. I don’t see him giving up. Just want to add that I have read stuff like this over the years. Even read Mein Kampf. So there is nothing new except the dew under the morning sun.

Anyways thanks for diagnosis on mental health. I can rest easy tonight but not sure what you mean about being back cause I never left.

Could do that but even still to some folks even reading these books is a crime. And in Canada the “hate speech” laws are such that I could be charged with a crime. I think it better to just wait for warmer weather so I can go to shore to the family cottage. Where there are few distractions and more time to think. Can’t go now cause of the ice and polar bears.

I have two comments.
First; we are in the middle of March Madness. I’m no sport fan, so it irks me no end when I see so many mindless fans who can name every player, every coach, and recite their records, yet not one of them could tell me what the amendments to the Constitution mean. Nor do they have any idea of their citizenship.
Second comment; I have been trying, for years, to educate people about their citizenship. Few have bothered to learn. I admit it is difficult to understand. Plaese try.

I watch March Madness with Sling TV as part of my citizenship rights or privilege. Citizenship is all about paying taxes for stuff you have no power over or receiving the taxes of those who have no power over where said money goes. If I have the chance to vote to decrease my taxes, or not to increase them, I do that. Liberty is something lots of people support for themselves but are opposed to for their neighbors. Almost everyone thinks stealing his neighbors money(taxes) for whatever project they favor is just. I would prefer to not have citizenship, thank you.

Yep, Admin, you ended up where I thought you might.. partly because of your historical knowledge but also because of your integrity. Kudos! (it’s hard to recognize the issue and even harder to accept it.)

I am not against Trump, nor near as I can tell, are you. I do think that he has good intentions but he is pretty much hobbled by initial conditions (embedded kleptocracy, energy, economy and broad market structure).

All he can do, though, is to delay the inevitable. And I have the suspicion (not more) that he is bollixing plans by the day.

That said, I have found no circumstance of any civilization walking to the precipice and deciding not to jump into the abyss.

Spoiler alert for the impatient….

The decline always takes longer than one thinks it might. That is a benefit for getting prepped despite being corrosive to one’s patience.

Thanks for a stimulating read, Admin!

I disagree. I think Trump is the monkey wrench. See, all of these problems have only one way of fixing them, realistically; To kill them dead. The only thing we deplorables need to do is to make sure we are prepared for the period of initial blast. Once all of the towers fall, then we can emerge stronger, and Trump could emerge as a leader. his job now is subversion and hastening the destruction of the status quo. There is no other way.
If you know the tree is rotten, better to hasten its fall and death. Then you can plant a new one and start new growth faster.

As with a difficult medical procedure, we wish to “get it over with”
and put it behind us. Yet, if we trickle to collapse, (so to speak)
we can use the time to LIVE, and adjust, get educated, prepare for
an uncertain and unpredictable future. Of course, some aspects are
predictable, as people revolt and lash out against those held in blame.
Patience is required, and it is a good thing. Spiritual wickedness
abounds, depopulation (sickening humanity) agendas are in place.
That is not woo-woo, it is real. Maybe a posse to remove the culprits?

Not quite 3 am and for some reason I am up thinking about these things. Must be Spring.

Despite all of this, for some reason I continue to notice an uptick in positive interactions, an increase in the number of solid and decent people I encounter and have conversations with, day after day. It is as if the primal forces of balance are working overtime to compensate for the decline and the decay. The response we put out in the world is not limited by external forces but by our own choices. We can give into despair or we can ignore the drumbeat of doom and press on doing our very best with whatever time and energy we have.

It’s been a very long time since I read the Foundation Trilogy but the one part I remember vividly has been echoed right here- that there are historical changes that take place above the level of conscious thought, that mass movements occur as a result of subliminal drives that we aren’t even aware of and that the power of The Mule was his control over the minds of his subjects. It reminds me now of the power of the media complex and I wonder if that wasn’t the metaphor Asimov was hinting at- you never really saw The Mule, you just felt his ability to manipulate vast numbers of people but in the end, like a real mule, he was unable to procreate (he represented the forces of decay rather than creation) and was eventually neutered and rendered harmless.

The things we think about when everything is quiet and the world is asleep.

The uptick you see is SO good to hear about.
There are so few of them…and so many of us, we can defeat the

Everything is set to funnel us into a trap. No jobs? Join the military.
No time? Eat our GMO convenience food. Diseases? Take our vaccine.

I read the Foundation Trilogy the summer before I began college in 1969. I was so struck by it that I declared my major to be psychology. Once I actually took a psychology course I changed my major to Russian (one of the two languages we were required to take as a psych major). I graduated with a BA in Russian and went to West Berlin in the Air Force as a Russian linguist which was the start of a life path I never could have predicted. That being said, the Foundation Trilogy has stayed with me – as have Isaac Asimov’s other books-and I think it’s time to read the trilogy again. I am also a Frank Zappa fan. I am on the Trump train. I was an avid member of the Tea Party, I went to DC and walked in the march against Obamacare, I am a constitutionalist (former prosecutor who is attached to our Constitution), and a patriot who loves this country. What is going on with this sanctuary cities movement is dangerous. When Trump withholds the funds there is going to be a constitutional crisis and maybe even blood in the streets. Nevertheless, it has to be done. The whole rotten edifice blows up now and we recommit to the rule of law, or we continue down the path to destruction later. Let’s roll!

Arthur C. Clarke wrote a good novel about a programmed civilization. Once every so often, a renegade was born. I think Alvin was the name of the protagonist in the novel. The founders of the system programmed an “Alvin” to appear every so often to shake things up. I read it many years ago, about when I read Asimov’s books. Don’t miss a chance to read Asimov’s Robot series novels, either. They are really good.

I am working with a group of women who are helping me put together some articles about how important WOMEN in the role of Other Mothers can be for a culture whose men have abdicated the role of “father” in droves because they either eat too much saltpeter in their diets or have allowed their NON-mothers to castrate them at the altar of political correctness (some of the poor things LITERALLY having their testicles removed before the age of consent! Where are their MOTHERS and FATHERS? They can’t wait until they are old enough to actually WANT a boyfriend or girlfriend before you are telling them they should try both? When has that ever worked out? Noah? Lot’s Wife? Eva Braun?) And, while I agree that circumcision does appear horrific now that Stucky forced me to view that video of a Moyle performing the simple “snip snip” described to ME about my son’s post-birth cleanup I believed Biblically preferred by the Torah, circumcision, needed or not, does NOT meet the level of removing a child’s ability to REPRODUCE children from their own genetic material by altering vaginas into peckers and vicey versy.

I don’t know how popular my articles will be, but they result from being inspired by some of your devoted readers who, like myself, respond to the genuine INTEGRITY that Jim Quinn displays by allowing Nutjobs like myself to post here on a regular basis. (I didn’t say nuthin’ about you, Yo.) If this is NOT the modern day equivalent to the Samuel Adams Committees of Correspondence put in place so that ideas and debate could ensue between the Federalists and Anti-Federalists… wha? you didn’t know there were two groups debating back and forth about the idea of adding Ten Clarifying Amendments to the Law of the New Land? Well, it is just SnitchingDitching HISTORY so who cares?

These articles will be my honest effort to inform people that there are a pack of pissed off witches with switches and other things that RHYME out here ready to kick that Hildebeast’s androgenous sister servant aka a.s.s. across the debate halls of purgatory. (I had to clean up my swear words. I’ve turned over a new leaf since I’m taking on the “other mother” moniker again. I thought I’d retired.

This is the “first” draft of the first article. I am awaiting permission of a member of the “Common Core Four” aka Jenni White to add her video clip to the article and proceed.

Maggie’s Meltdown
I haven’t feeling quite “right” * since the election of Donald Trump to the office of President of the United States, which meant something until a pack of freeloaders from Arkansas infested D.C. with all of their confusion about the meaning of life and meanings of words, like “IS.” At least Nixon did get run out of town sans tar and feathers, but out of town he got RUN.
In case you are one of the 50-something percent of people who thought Bill Clinton was the bees knees after all those women stepped forward to tell the world the personally humiliating news that they fell for the deviant charms of a man who would take advantage of a 21-year-old COLLEGE STUDENT when he was president of the free world, OR, WORSE, if you are one of the ALMOST 50-something percent who would vote for his sleazebag wife, the wench who WOULD be queen of the politics of meaning (look up her clever comments when her father died), then you will need to get yourself a stiff drink for the rest of this article. There will be big words. You may need a freaking dictionary.
Get a hard-cover dictionary that the powers that be can’t filter for political correctness. Has anyone noticed the “meanings” of words are being “slanged” up and made nonsensical by Wiki-thinkie?
In March, I managed to irritate a pack of cops by walking through a semi-private (no gates) neighborhood on a “walking” shortcut to my attorney’s office. What started as a little spat between my husband and I over my KNOWING the directions to his office because I’d lived in Cape Girardeau, Mo., off and on all my life and I KNEW how to get there (a mile or so from Limbaugh Tower). Since traffic was stopped while cops handed out tickets for lack of seat belts or some other egregious misbehavior on Broadway headed toward the river, I stomped off on foot to prove a point not only to my irate husband, but to myself.
I believed I could walk the one-half mile or less to my attorney’s office (with an old Will in hand to have him modify, along with an old ID card for myself (in case it was taken, which it was…BY COPS) and a business card for my lawyer – ALL of which were stolen and not returned by the corrupt cops – and my shirt ripped. If anyone ever gets the video of me berating the jerks and spewing out a stream of filth intermingled with the Fourth Amendment… it ought to be a good one. Most of you here know I can swear like a sailor, having been the daughter of a World War II sailor who ended up in POW camp in Japan for a few years… Dad taught me to do whatever necessary when in certain situations. Well, I remember telling a couple of cops I recognized some disgusting things that my husband says he was shocked to hear me say to men in uniform who had me on the ground face down in handcuffs by the time he escaped the traffic stop to come find me, with OTHER cops in tow. It was an interesting day an one that I have managed to engrave into my mind for regurgitating for the monkeys on TBP who will be shocked to hear this crazed chicken and bunny farmer ended up telling a cop that she was onto him because she knew he was a rapist in high school and realizes all the stories about him being a corrupt cop are also true.
Fortunately, I did discover my husband can NOT have me committed, due to changes in laws in the 1970s to prevent someone like Fanny Bryce getting a Lobotomy by accident. (Don’t know who she is? Try reading a book.) That is good news, since my crazy rantings and ravings certainly made my husband think about getting my to a psych ward. But, in spite of several nurses agreeing I seemed a bit psychotic at times (though, there were a few that were with me when I was alone and they know I was pretty darned rational, especially when I kept asking them to verify that I was being recorded when the cops were in the room with me.) , I was fairly rational MOST of the time. I admit I was also a bit psychotic at times, having never been almost BEATEN by a cop with a billy club before… for walking down the street in a free country, supposedly. Well, during my checkup to document the bruises and scrapes the cops caused when I insisted I was walking to my lawyer’s office, I learned Nick couldn’t have me committed without cause. Nick isn’t quite as passionate about proving cops are dirty as I am. But, after a lifetime of seeing what the people in power will do to anyone who stands in their way? I’m willing to put my life on the line to try and save the ideals of liberty for my son(s). If that means a few bruises from a lowlife cop who was nothing in high school and is NOTHING now… bring it. I’m one tough old broad.
My efforts, in both action and in the series of articles, perhaps chapters, I am writing, are directed toward rallying women who are as devoted to the idea that good mothers make good men and women. Good fathers help mold them and shape their characters, sure and if a poor kid gets born to some lowlife alley cat wench strung out on crack or meth, then a whole pack of OTHER MOTHERS and fathers are needed. All the nonsense about gender bending and making boys into girls willy nilly started around the time I graduated from high school. In spite of my own rocky background, I managed to find my feet as an enlisted flyer in AWACS during a time when being a lady in jet jammies was pretty unique. I was fortunate to be in the “second” wave of women invading a very manly career field and to walk in the ginormous footsteps of women whose behavior and intellect made me proud to be one of their “students.” Being mentored by strong women is one of my life’s achievements. I tend to discard weak women in favor of the ones who will argue with me and tell me I am wrong. It is one of the things I appreciate MOST about my own son; he tells me I’m wrong first thing always. My son loves to debate; it was his best “sport” in high school. Now, arguing with Mom appears to be his second choice of career. as he finishes his very techy degree that makes him more logical than I choose to be. He keeps me honest.
It is interesting that when the blowup with the intern groping occurred, I was an intern myself at OU, working on a few little projects that took me into the realm of national politics, though only as a fact-checking editor of sorts. Having discovered that powerful people in D.C. do not talk to lowly students, I discovered that their INTERNS would speak to me at length, especially when they learned I was former military and could be “trusted.” If only reporters could understand the secret code language of military underlings and interns. They could delve into people’s computer libraries at will. Oh, they already do? Well, duh. Perhaps the Russians eliminating the use of computers in favor of typewriters and written correspondence has some validity in a world where bits and bytes fly around us at all times like Pokemon at a game exchange.
… first draft of first pages of the first article…

Jenni sent me all her power point slides she used when fighting the Common Core fight in Oklahoma a few years ago. We are gonna write a good one. By the way, meet my old friend and Tea Party marcher Jenni White, who got as irked when the RINO repukes co-opted our fine little Tea Party business as I did.

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2011/07/the_failure_of_education_reform.html

Excerpt:

“It is interesting how the traditional education of our Founders produced a near-100% literacy rate, astounding visitors to our early nation like de Tocqueville (p 252), while Dewey’s Progressive method in use since 1965 has produced adults today of whom only 13% are proficient in reading prose.

No matter what term (Marxist, Progressive) we use to identify the methods utilized in the federal government’s initial intrusion into public education, the “reforms” since 1965 have been decidedly antithetical to our Founders vision for traditional education:

…the Founders proposed and strongly supported a system of general public education. As a practical matter, this meant establishing throughout the nation public or common schools at the state and local level, a process that had already begun in the New England states” (p147)[.]

Reform efforts guided from DC have produced categorically inferior results. If we are to rehabilitate our Republic, we must truly reform our public education system, returning not only to the Founder’s vision for localized public education (p 250), but to the traditional methods shown to produce superior results.

Jenni White is an author of Common Core State Standards and Race to the Top – An Introduction to Marxism 101

Another excerpt from another fine Jenni White (other mother and teacher article)

“Why in the world, when our country is TRILLIONS of dollars in debt, would we as taxpayers want to burden ourselves with increased INDIVIDUAL debt (at least Putnam City shows the taxpayer how much to expect their house payments to go up) in order to promote an educational philosophy that is at best controversial and at worst, downright harmful to the students we purport to help?

Why should we allow a group of largely Republican educational elitists — in tandem with President Obama — to force unproven reforms on states (through Race to the Top and No Child Left Behind waivers) and then treat them as unfunded mandates, creating more and more tax burden for the taxpayer?

Why should our tax dollars go to promote an educational political agenda?

With no study ever attempted at the state level to determine the final costs of the Common Core and PARCC tests, how do we know we won’t be asked to fund more bonds? (Putnam City taxpayers seem to enjoy selling out their individual property rights to their schools — against the ideals of our Founders — as there are still four unretired bonds jacking up property taxes in the district.)”

You are reading out of the wrong book friend. The Bible clearly states that we will go into a One World Order, with or without Trump, or whoever comes after. It can’t be altered or voted away. It is punishment to the world for leaving their first love – Jesus Christ. So, the LORD sends the delusion that the world will believe, (other then those who are sealed with HIS truth). At this point in time if you look at what people are talking about and running after, you can clearly see strong delusion. Secular books can’t accurately predict what’s coming, but scripture can. That’s why the globalists want the masses dumbed down, so they can’t read or write, and be led to the slaughter. Faith indeed comes by hearing, but we must (study) scripture to get the full meaning and understanding into our souls….

Here’s one simple fact: Sales of luxury underground bunkers are up 700%. Here’s another: The pentagon is missing 10 trillion bucks and has no idea where it went. A+B= There’s something else going on here that we know nothing of. Naturally, the Pentagon certainly knows where that money went; they just don’t want to tell us. The moneyed, privileged elite know, and they are using their knowledge to protect themselves. Global catastrophe, perhaps? Planned limited nuclear conflict in order to cull the herd? We’ll know when it happens. I’m 57, and my retirement has already been stolen. I’m not earmarked for survival in a fourth- turning context, and I don’t expect to be alive ten years from now. I’ve resolved to enjoy the smiles of my grand children as often as possible between now and whatever the greatest crash turns out to be. I did enjoy this series of articles, as I enjoyed reading most of the works of Asimov, including the foundation trilogy. But I certainly recommend reading all the works of Frank Herbert. I think the Dune series provides a more relatable picture for us to consider. Herbert seems to have been quite prophetic, and if we manage to avoid total catastrophe, the Butlerian Jihad cannot be too far into our future. There is also a little-known Heinlein work (in fact, it was his first, from 1936, I think) titled “For Us the Living”, which paints a picture of a technocratic/libertarian society that is beginning to emerge in the minds of many. I’m not saying it’s good or bad, I’m just saying it was pretty visionary writing; but that’s Heinlein. In truth, though, I am a follower of Christ, and I am convinced that the Great Reveal is upon us. Many will die; many will be saved; everything will change. Trump is not a savior; he is here as a sign of just how far this nation has fallen; how much in need of repentance of all its lies, thefts, adulteries, and murders it has become. My Bible says there will be no repentance; hence the inevitable destruction of Babylon the Great.

I also read the Foundation Trilogy back in my teenage “science fiction phase.” I just put the series on Library hold and will read them again. I may even understand them this time. I graduated from high school back in 1972. I feel my life has mirrored the systemic collapse that truly began when Nixon took us off the gold standard back in July of 1971. Honestly, I never expected either the system or myself to last this long. I am just enjoying the decline as one writer puts it. Surf the chaos, amigos, and enjoy each day. This will all end in blood and fire, since the nature of what I call the Deep Pedophile State, and human nature, hasn’t changed. The Deep State is like Slim Pickens riding the nuclear bomb down in Dr. Strangelove. They are truly psychopaths and are quite willing to collapse the system in a failed effort to maintain control. This is a great series of essays explaining the nature of current events. Thanks.

Great trilogy of articles, Admin. With regard to this:

“The Washington establishment and sinister Deep State players will attempt to thwart Trump’s every move. They have already impeded his immigration controls…”

Trump could have easily avoided resistance to his Executive Orders on immigration had he simply suspended ALL immigration, citing economic and national security interests (our economic security is tied to our national security). Michael Savage suggested this just after the election. Trump is well within the law as it is, but a sweeping suspension would have been more effective than restricting to only 7 countries, plus he could not have been so easily been accused of simply banning Muslims (although the effect would have done so since it would have suspended immigration for ALL religions and peoples).

Section 212(f), states: “Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

Take note of those words “any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate”. A very reasonable argument can be made that we allowed far too much immigration over the last 20 years, we don’t have enough jobs for the existing population, and our social welfare programs are overloaded, thus warranting a halt to further immigration.

Hari Seldon was a smart ass.

“Psychohistory” was what he sold to establish both Foundations because we dumb rubes just don’t understand the world–or the universe, as the case may be.

Fuck that guy and fuck that kind of thinking. I’m not buying what you’re selling, Hari. The significant events in those novels was never about the super-lucrative government contracts Seldon secured for KBR….er, “Foundation.” Emergence of artificial intelligence was the real grist of those novels. When the state wants to predict anything from statistics, you’d best get skeptical and hide your wallet, because truthfully all they can predict is that they need MORE from your wallet.

Intelligence is emergent in the machines. I promise you–THAT is the take away from novels like Asimov’s “Foundation” series–and it’s more than enough to bake anybody’s noodle in the context of all the stupid shit people do.

So the dog posts videos of Turks singing. But I suppose appearing on a stage with Red Army is a much better life choice for a Turk than fighting them on battlefield.

Dog, do you fantasize in your dreams and at prayer about singing for Ivan?

Dog at Friday prayer…. Ivan behind.

No wonder you’re called underdog. You Turks have been a bottom for Ivan for at least 500 years.

Really great article and good comments. The idea productivity Is down because productive people refuse to provide their value for peanuts and while in a corrupt system. As a money guy, I often think how I can take advantage of what is coming. Been thinking about finding a lot of land with water, buildings etc. getting a fat mortagage on it but before closing the mortgage, having the seller subdivide just so the larger piece will still barely appraise for the total sales price without the smaller subdivided one. The smaller I will buy for a dollar not in conjunction or as part of negotiations but simultaneously close the sale for one real dollar bill paid in cash with attorneys to make it a legal contract. Will make the MLS and realtor even change the listing showing smaller footprint for same price. So govt cannot attempt collusion etc in the future. In the end seller got full price, I got an unencumbered non mortagaged piece of Galts Gulch free….when shtf and foreclosure occurs, sure take it, but I still gots me other property free and clear, literally……..or I sell an apple for $1,000 and pay the months mortgage, hyperinflation…..possibly pay off mortgage with sell of 50lbs of meat after shtf… think Venezuela….

Regarding trump, I can only hope he is playing a game of pop goes the weasel by allowing these so called conservative republicans we all vote for, to show us their real selves….sellouts to the demoncrats (Ryan, McCain ,etc). Non sheeple have a great opportunity to not just get ready but financially position themselves to come out ahead after a 1929 event. Pooled money can go farther……

Not a hard problem to solve. There are 4 factors. 1) the elite 2)the demographics 3)the debt and 4)the scope of power. But it would require a cold-blooded will and sheer boldness.

Solutions:

1) Augustus’s solution of neutralizing the elite through both elimination and bribing. Also seize the assets of rich traitors as one way to break up large holdings for auctions while restoring the rule of law
2) reduce the population through large deportations, spin off the large immigrant and liberal controlled areas such as declaring SF the free city like Hong Kong, eliminating citizenship status of class of criminals and traitors to reduce the voting base. Also ban welfare cases, govt employees, and other tax consumers from voting until their status change.
3) Solon’s solution of nationwide debt cancellation to free up both state and citizens to focus on building the future. That’s federal and college and other debt. It will hurt the globalists HARD. It will also free up space for good investment. Plus bring back gold standard.
4) Repeal and replace the entire law code like Napoleon with a new and more simple law code. Change the federal makeup by replacing Congressional elections with lottery, replace Senators with the state governors, and the President with Swiss-style Federal Council. Make the large cities independent states in their own right so the country voters can have control over their states again. Think the City-State of NY and the state of Buffalo.

Like I said, it will take somebody with big balls and no investment in old forms. Only a desire to change things for better and an iron will of Bismarck

You’re making a big leap to assign all that brilliance and cunning to Trump. The truth is, he only found a way to energize a disenchanted electorate that finally reached a critical mass in rejecting all the “standard” offerings of one party. Trump was less elected than his opponents were de-elected. The real lesson here is that a large portion of the voting populace finally voted for an avatar to spew out our anger with the system – Perot made too much sense and actually made the right policy points in 1992 when action might have been effective. But we Americans weren’t ready then – we chose Trump now because he vented our anger and never backed down. Unfortunately, we Americans think that screaming and blaming actually constitute policy.

Another neat trick here is how the vote for Trump also dragged along a majority of Republicans – the party that was mostly responsible for the woes of the disaffected Trump voter: free trade leading to massive offshoring of jobs (4 Pillars of Reaganomics), the open border policy that began with corporations pushing their original corporate sycophants (the Republican Party) to further dilute the bargaining power of the American workforce, the destruction of the American labor union (remember Reagan and Patco??), the runaway military-industrial complex (thanks to the Republican Neocon movement brought to ascendancy under Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld – not to mention the Patriot Act to begin the process of controlling the citizen class with the Security-Surveillance-Enslavement state we fall further into each day), and finally the biggest con job of all, massive tax cuts for the wealthy so they would please help us and be the “job creators” once again. Excuse me, but the wealthy have been the beneficiaries of massive tax cuts and wealth gains since Reagan, and here we are 36 years later electing a Republican Party who may accomplish NOTHING EXCEPT more tax cuts for the wealthy while the working class (lower 90%) become a country of indentured servants. This is less about Trump and more about the ignorance of the mass of the voting public – Toqueville is rolling in his grave.

Kad’s comment just disappeared. I like your stuff admin. If you find Truth there bound to be JESUS FREAKS close by rofl.
We homeschooled up to family tragedy. I read Saudi Arabia has been making our textbooks for years. Head start was wanting to send and little boys and girls to same bathrooms 20+ years ago. We disliked treatment kids were getting back then. Discrimination was unheard of.
I continue to hold my cards close on The Donald. I feel like if the Deep State wanted him gone it would have been done already. All of the reasons I made the red list under Janet Reno and Slick Willie,Donald made them campaign issues. We know about voter fraud and rigged elections, we don’t know how long though do we. How about mercenary protesters. These aren’t new tactics. Keep swords sharp and powder dry.

History has probably assigned Trump the role of being America’s Gorbachev. Although the West’s sympathetic intellectual class refused to see it, socialism in the USSR was dying, as it must die everywhere its tried. Because of human nature and the unknowability of the future, it’s impossible for socialism’s central planners, however great their police powers, to achieve their social and economic objectives.

Gorby was installed to save the decrepit Soviet Bloc’s socialism. He tinkered with reforms to lighten the regime’s boot on its subjects’ necks. Given the option to gain some control over their lives, the regime’s subjects grabbed it, worked against the will of the central planners and thus undermined the party’s power.

Similarly, Trump has promised to lift some of the burden of America’s central planners’ Utopian fantasies from lives. From finance to empire to healthcare to education to job creation, Washington’s political elite have deformed the economy and American society into a grotesque and unstable structure which will come crashing down if it’s tinkered with.

Given the choice, who would voluntarily spend their hard earned wealth on wars and empire? Who would voluntarily pay Big Pharma its outrageous prices for ineffective and even harmful drugs if cheap, safe and effective alternatives are allowed to exist? Who would voluntarily pay for and send their children to failed government schools? Who would accept the Fed’s unbacked currency if private monies backed by gold and silver were allowed to compete? Who would voluntarily waste precious capital on transgender toilets? If Trump gives us choices on these and other matters, then entire zombie industries now kept alive by the force and fraud of central planning will collapse.

How much of this Trump understands, we don’t know. What we do know is that freedom restoring reforms, however seemingly mild, will touch off a chain reaction which will collapse the planners’ house of cards. Trump will most likely be a transitional president much as Gorbachev was. It will be up to enlightened successors to create a political environment which allows the rebuilding of the American House of Liberty.
