It may not be right but it would make a great infomercial on why you should never depend on govt handouts even those you may have “earned”. Handouts and entitlements are just promises and we know all about govt promises.

True, there aren’t enough taxes to support the benefits / entitlements promised to all the claimants.
IF they raised tax rates enough to cover the b / e promised, the economy would utterly collapse (assuming everyone didn’t decide to just cheat / refuse / evade).
IF they did not raise tax rates enough to cover the b / e promised, they will either renege on promises or print currency to hyperinflation.
What part of mathematics do you not understand? Why do you believe their lies to begin with?
