They are calling this in the Year without an Arctic Summer. The Greenland Ice Sheet is gaining near record amounts of ice this year. Very little melting has occurred this summer, which is about to start coming to an end. Europe has been unusually cool once again after last year ice wiped out crops all the way down into Spain creating shortages of vegetables.
It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. With the sun activity declining and the North Pole reversing direction in 2000 heading toward Europe rather than Canada, things are not exactly supporting the Global Warming crowd. Since 1860, the magnetic pole shift has more than doubled every 50 years. That is rather significant. In geological terms, this is extremely rapid and could be the prelude to a pole shift nobody understands.
Still, during the past 150 years, the pole shift has been in the same direction. The most astonishing fact is that since 2000, the magnetic North Pole has shifted nearly half of the total distance of the past 50 years! In other words, the pole shift has apparently picked up speed so much so that they have had to re-calibrate airports and their GPS signals so planes can still find them. Europe is getting colder. Friends in Scotland have relayed that had a spectacular summer this year – it lasted a whole two days! The earth is changing rapidly. We are overdue for a major pole shift (see Maya Report). The poles flip on the Sun every 11 years. We have no idea what the net result will be on Earth since the last flip was well before recorded history.
Info on pole shift is common scientific knowledge; but IMO, the rest is speculation (anecdotal correlation).
As much as I would like to have a Little Ice Age repeat again starting tomorrow so we can put the hangman’s noose around the lying ‘scientists’, I would only rely on the Scientific Method to determine validity of any science hypothesis.
So, a quick google search, the shift in the north pole is apparently in man caused.

For at least a decade, scientists have suspected that the massive amounts of melting taking place in glaciers around the world could significantly redistribute mass on Earth. That’s particularly true when it comes to the huge ice sheets over Greenland and in the West Antarctic.
If ice disappears from one part of the spinning Earth and resettles elsewhere as water, the planet shifts on its axis toward the place where it lost mass.
But the physics are so complex that scientists could only guess at how this actually works in the real world. Now, Adhikari has proposed a way to explain the process. The secret was discovering that it’s not just shrinking glaciers that change Earth’s mass distribution, as some scientists had thought. A lot of mass also gets moved around due to large-scale loss of liquid water from the land, the team reports this week in Science Advances.
Adhikari and his colleague and co-author Erik Ivins think the rotational pole is shifting toward Europe because there has been a massive loss of water from lakes and aquifers in Eurasia, around the Caspian Sea, and in India. Warmer temperatures overall have led to more evaporation and less precipitation in many areas, and booming human populations have been sucking up groundwater from reservoirs and wells (watch Saudi Arabia get drained dry).
“What we have shown is that melting ice and a pattern of continental water storage are combining to cause a dramatic shift in the direction of the pole,” says Adhikari.
Gavin Schmidt, a climate scientist with NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York, commends the authors for adding to the discussion about climate science. Schmidt, who was not affiliated with the study, agrees that human activity has caused “detectable shifts in mass from ice sheet melt and groundwater extraction.”

Never seems to be a problem unlike a certain country that has light switches that you lift to turn on and who drive on the incorrect side of the road just to piss of the British yet they stubbornly stick to the Pound (lbs) the Foot/inch have a gallon of gas which is underweight and the fluid ounce of beer.
The real problem is however your Toilets, My dick dangles in the water bowl and I never trust a country that has toilet water rise to your drunk face after flushing.
As for an Arctic summer in Europe ‘Licifer’ begs to differ with temperatures to 46c. Oh that’s 115 Deg Fahrenheit for the Germans.

Card802: I doubt your sources are honest. The magma flows determine the Earth’s Magnetic Field strength and location. Pole Shifts vary from 50 million to 20 thousand years and man affects it about as much as CO2 affects Earth’s Climate. When the Earth’s Magnetic Field is weak, Earth is bombarded by UV rays, Cosmic Rays (which crack chromosomes, increase clouds, rain/hail/snow and electric storms), etc. More pressing problems are the huge government Debts, the planned Fed Fiat Dollar Crash, the Mini-Ice Age that has started, the NWO/UN, WW III, The Four Horsemen, many volcanoes including Yellowstone and several Big Ones (earthquakes) should occur before the next Earth Magnetic Pole Shift is completed after we are all gone.

Soft maples down in the low spots have already gone to red in the first week of August. The drupes on the rock maples are so loaded down it looks like the trees are drought stricken from a distance even though we’re above average for precipitation this year.
It’s going to be a hard Winter.

If you think the earth is cooling off you are literally INSANE.
Maple sap begin to run when the temperature rises above 40 degrees at the end of Winter.
We have records from 1903 for this farm of the first day of tapping to the last- 114 years of data.
There is no evidence of any warming pattern in that time.
The dramatic pronouncements associated with Climate Change proponents is noticeable, as is their over representation in urban areas. If you are looking for connections, start there.
Reasonable, rational and mature people do not go into hysterics over things beyond their control- they alter their own behavior in order to conform to their perceptions. I have never yet met a single Climate Change advocate who has stopped travelling by fuel driven conveyance, nor stopped using electricity, both alleged sources of this perceived catalyst for Climate Change.
Anything you have to counter that fits the facts I’d be more than willing to consider.
Most of the warming is preindustrial, but the warming has accelerated due to human carbon burning. However fusion power will render the question moot. Check out ReBCO superconducting cable and MIT.

I usually turn on the A/C in May and off in September, but this year there was only one really hot week; the last week of July. We’re back to cool nights again.

Arctic warming destabilizes the jet stream. It makes some places hotter and some cooler. Siberia and western North America are burning up — literally.

This is hilarious, but it shows that AlGore has a peculiar sense of timing. He shows up, new movie in tow, to promote his global-warming hysteria, the same week that this news about the Greenland ice cap is revealed.
It turns out his movie is as hot at the box office as the summer was in Greenland, though. Which is par for the course with him and his doom-and-gloom predictions.
