All who condemn libertarians (big and little “L”) need to explain how having ANY government that has the power to simply STEAL money from people through taxation, can monopolize the delivery of “services,” can monopolize entire industries, has the power to destroy one business in favor of another business, etc. can EVER be good for the future of mankind???? Seriously.

NO BUSINESS would be able to put these kinds of sums into their own pockets were they forced to EARN them in a free and competitive market – FREE of the power and influence of government over the money supply, the laws, trade, subsidies, tariffs, etc. NONE.

You simply cannot have “crony-capitalism” (the unholy alliance of big business and government power) without government power…..period. And seriously, how would that be a bad thing?

Corporate welfare (tax deductions) pale in comparison to individual welfare (tax deductions)
Corporate about $350 billion.
Individuals about $1.2 trillion.
End all tax expenditures and you could pay off the national debt in about 10 years. With no increase in spending of course.

WELFARE is a direct handout. Plenty of HUGE businesses get direct handouts from the government. Businesses and corporations DO NOT PAY TAXES. ONLY INDIVIDUALS PAY TAXES. Corporations pass their tax burden on to their shareholders in lower dividends, their employees in lower pay, and their customers in higher prices. As for individuals, allowing people to keep the income THEY EARNED is NOT WELFARE. Essentially you are making the case that the government deserves to STEAL EVERY PENNY that everyone earns and that any money we are allowed to keep is like “manna from heaven” rather than the rightful ownership of the fruits of one’s labor. And if you believe that everyone should simply work for the state, then you are advocating SLAVERY FOR ALL.

Sorry, your use of the term “welfare” is both ignorant and tyrannical.

If government has costs, then charge a fee when anyone uses the service. The gasoline tax used for highway construction and maintenance is about as close to such a tax. Tolls on toll roads are similar, as are fees for certain other services government provides (we will leave out whether or not government should even be providing them).

It is truly sad that you think that allowing people to keep the money THEY earn is “welfare.” The government monopoly propaganda “education” machine has clearly done exactly what it was put in place to do.
