Nope, paid for by the friendly folks called US TAXPAYERS!….who are not going to remain friendly forever.

Another ‘consensus’ – I feel confident that the correct solution (killing women and children in tents and wedding parties) is being pursued due to the vast agreement of world leaders.
Rest assured, whatever gov’t proposes is always moral and truthful.

And the round trip flown by the bomber cost the taxpayers at least 300K….

We still have Elite NeoCon Oligarchs running America, only now there are Multiple Vietnams all over the World. We now have professional soldiers with beaucoup more technological weapons but they are having deja vu effects; and these wars will all end as failures with even more blow-back. The BRICS et all are striking back by destroying the profligate US’s Fiat Dollar and thereby our Economy and War Machine.

You know you can get that same tent from Omar the tent maker in Patterson, NJ for half price…fleas included………
Persnickety
Yeah, but where can you get that bomb for the low, low, LOW price of just 40 grand? That’s like 1990 pricing. Remember in 1991 when we had to unload all that excess inventory before it expired?
Musket
Per………It’s called foreign military sales. You lift any fake restrictions and sell it to the guys in Patterson, NJ and then they resell…..
pyrrhus
Yes, I think that with overhead, maintenance, etc. it’s probably more like 250K…

It would be cheaper to fly over and drop dollars on them. We could drop bundles of FRNs and sacks of small change from high altitude. The money, falling at terminal velocity, would pancake the tent and we could claim afterwards it was actually a humanitarian mission of peace!

Amerika! Amerika! Amerika! USA! USA! USA! If you don’t like it leave it! (The Dutchman).

Actually, this is modern AMERIKAN warfare. The rest of the world simply isn’t this stupid or as uncaring about massive debt, their own economy, or the future of their citizens (well, aside from N. Korea).

And yet the guy who owns the $100 tent is the one winning the sand wars.

Anybody ever hear of fourth generation warfare? That’s what this is, and it’s all about cost effectiveness. Half a mil to blow up two arabs and a tent will eventually break the attacker. The Arabs know it, and have plenty tents and child brides to feed the cause.

Absolutely right. The Islamic population is growing rapidly despite our pathetic efforts…..

The Ken Burn’s documentary on Vietnam makes it quite clear that Ho Chi Minh knew the same, obvious truths. All the education in the world (or chronically-repeated history of failures) can’t seem to get through the thick heads of US government leaders while all the “backwards” Third World types are clearly more intelligent in these areas.
