I wasn’t expecting the email below when I came back from lunch today. Somehow I seemed to have pissed someone off at Amazon. I have no idea what violation they are talking about and, of course, there is no appeal process. The only thing I can think is they thought my donation appeal below the Amazon button was somehow related to clicking on the Amazon button. We’ll never know.
All I know is that my largest stream of modest revenue is now gone. The ad revenue had been sufficient so that I haven’t felt the need to solicit for donations, but it is no longer sufficient for the amount of work I put into this website day in and day out, 365 days per year.
So, here is my solicitation for donations. I think it’s a pretty good site. I try to keep it interesting. I try to keep it a sanctuary of free speech. I’ve now been banned by the two biggest ad revenue generators – Google & Amazon. Apparently, offering free content and loving socialism is great for the pay-per-click ad model, but a terrible business model if you’re backed into a corner and must depend on freeloaders to pay to keep you in business. While TBP squeaks along it’s still faring WAY BETTER than most websites. At least Admin’s target audience are business owners and property owners who can afford donations. Administro, the sexy mulatta did not want to go to Vegas this year, I usually take her there for her birthday. I try to make it interesting by going to a different hotel each time. I have been to most hotels on the strip and even the Arizona Charlie’s off the strip that appears in National Lampoon’s Vacation.

Anyway, I’m sending you the money I saved ($20) by not going to Vegas minus the $350 I paid for two nights in PS. I overpaid, I know. It was hot in early September and though the place was beautifully landscaped, I would have enjoyed Arizona Charlie’s more than this place. Amazon paid me at the end of every month. I could monitor the amount on an affiliate website.
They absolutely stole money from me. They owed me over $1,000 for sales which had already happened and benefited them.

I never finished the article I intended about elder care experiences but I will tell you here in a comment that it was agonizing seeing both (my) Nick’s parents lose their ability to care for themselves and have their life savings stolen/pilfered by estate lawyers and the other daughter-in-law aka LEGION. Then, my own father’s battle with Alzheimer’s and his refusal to acknowledge he couldn’t make good decisions anymore. He was spitting mad that anyone would even suggest something was wrong with his mind, which made dealing with him impossible. At least Poppa Grooch (as I called Nick’s Dad) became a dear, loving man who was ever apologizing for my having to take care of him. My father got really spiteful. It is a common thing in senility patients, I know, but it is heartbreaking for family to cope with both the hard work AND the meanness.
My father had been a POW in Japan for 3 and 1/2 years during WWII and was eligible for all kinds of help from the VA. He refused to accept it. Really. The story about my experiences with Elder Care sends me into a really sad place. Is why Nick and I have a “pact” about what to do and when.

My figure when I was young was similar to the Russian dancer posted earlier but not quite at good as hers. I did cheerleading, then dance and then aerobics to stay in shape through the years. I was in great shape. Had small boobs, but had a backside. Unfortunately, I lost a whole cup size at least from my boobs when I lost the weight from child birth. Doctor said I won’t get my boobs back unless I gain weight ( asked), which is hard for me to do, and I don’t really want to do. I’m now out of shape after child birth and sitting at a computer for years working. Not overweight, just out of shape. So no selfies will be forthcoming. But that’s no reason men can pony up for Admin just the same.

James, thanks for the advice on walking. I do walk my dog in the evening after I finish work for about 15 minutes, sometimes a little longer, but I sit all day so it doesn’t do as much as I want. I currently work 6.5 days per week, so I don’t have time to work out like I used to with aerobics, and though I’m small, like I said, out of shape. Waist has thickened a bit and butt not in the shape it was in. Those are my issues. I’m actually thinking of cutting back on my contract work and finding an extra job where I can be a little more active or that requires some walking, and maybe that will help. I know my health is important, which is why I try to eat healthy. Thanks again for your comment.
P.S., on October 26th, I’ll turn 55, and I’m starting to see strands of gray coming in. Oh, well, that’s life.
A little more gardening/perhaps a wood stove and split wood by hand(great body workout!).I cannot exercise for the sake of exercise excepting when martial training,why I find outdoor activities that have multi benefits,am then more apt to get on it.I would say split your day with a mid day walk also,you need the break both body and mental health wise and my bet is you will then work a little better when at desk so no real sacrifice.
I have a few greys,figured all the death of family and friends I earned em dammit!On the plus side unlike all other members of the males on both sides of family I avoided going bald!I still have very long hair as I did as a teen,to quote the great woman Rula Lenska”Don’t hate me because I am beautiful!”
