What is worse is that the GOVERNMENT is the biggest employer in many states. I can at least boycott Walmart. The government simply comes and STEALS MY MONEY.
What shocks me is after Walmart, health care and universities are the largest employers, only four states had a for profit business as their largest employer. No wonder the college age millennials think socialism is great. Its’ all the know. After seeing this, now I really hope Trump kills O’ care.
And many students get work/study programs or other employment through the University at way above market wage rates thus only worsening the problem and their attitudes.

So, the states where Walmart didn’t come out on top, the ‘private’employers are mostly all anything but private. I see Boeing and MGM Resorts and then a couple super markets. The rest are government or mostly paid for with government funding.

When I look at that image, I hear Sandra Bullock’s voice in my head, saying “All stores are Walmart.”
Also, image is not appearing – images from https://pbs.twimg.com aren’t loading. Not just on this page. either. No clue why.
I have to look at the page source, copy the image location, and paste that into the browser address bar to see them – then the image loads, but not on the page itself.

I just watched a youtube about people who live in the carpark at Walmarts……crazy shit. One guy who seemed fairly sane had lived in the parking lot for 7 years another for 9 years. Looking at these people, I have no idea why they could not work and at least live in a trailer park or low cost apartment if they would just hold down a job. Can’t imagine sleeping in a car for 9 years.

If wal mart is the number one employer. Why is housing so expensive.
section 8, its’ what’s for breakfast! for those who aspire for more, they have to pay the high price to definitively rise above the riffraff, our society is in dynamic stratification, continually pushing many more lower nearer the edge of the riffraff zone and many fewer higher into the clearly riffraff free zone

What a scary graphic! It repulses me. Not just the Walmart, but all the U OF # that are 1st in the other states.
Here’s an idea; all non-lab classes are online. Shut it all down.

The universities and education are not private employers.
Is a publicly traded company private?
It’s not a government sector one, so yes.
I believe retail will become highly automated and the most future jobs will be in computers and robotics.
Making them, serving them, or worshiping them?
Yes
Not the last one except for Useless Idiots.
