Just BTFT (Buy The Fucking Top). Who needs real wage increases when a credit card or 7 year 0% financing will purchase everything you need to keep up with the Joneses? It’s all good. Markets are at all-time highs, corporations are about to get a massive tax cut so they can buy back more of their stock and invest in robots, we’re on the verge of war with rocketman, and bitcoin is headed to $100,000 by year end. The future is so bright I gotta wear shades. I can’t wait to get my negative real wage increase this year.

For the first time since November 2009, real average hourly earnings tumbled for the 4th month in a row.

Despite all the hype, all the hope, and all the Phillips-curve-ian academic discussion…
Real wage growth just is not there…
Still it must happen soon, right?

Excellent news. A two month deficit of over $200 billion. We’re on track for a TRILLION dollar deficit this year. Let the good times roll. Right douchebag?
Winning!

It’s ok. Alpo isn’t too bad when you heat it up.
Truly crap part time jobs that most Americans won’t do.
Our fearless leaders have convinced the captains of industry that the only way to keep inflation in check, is to keep wages in check.
this way the CPI is a meaningless number, as wages (and gold) are suppressed for fear of reality creeping in.
Our fearless leaders have convinced themselves that the only way to keep inflation in check, is to keep wages in check.
fixed it
Although we don’t need it, for the fourth year in a row, my wife’s SS check remains the same net income. Two years of no COLA followed by two years of COLA’s completely eaten up by increases in Medicare Part B premiums. I would imagine that people who are more dependent on SS are feeling the heat.
