“What The Hell Is Going On?”: Trey Gowdy Absolutely Destroys Farcical Mueller Probe In Epic Monologue

Tyler Durden's picture

If there is any remaining doubt in your mind that Special Counsel Mueller’s probe is anything but a farcical, politically-motivated witch hunt, then you’ll be summarily relieved of those doubts after watching the following exchange from earlier this morning between Trey Gowdy (R-SC) and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

Good lord, it’s something straight out of what used to be considered fiction… could Tom Clancey have written a more realistic crime/espionage/political thriller? And the galling part of it is, *anyone* with two functioning brain cells can see this Rosenstein guy is a bad liar, and he’s been running interference from the get go. This is why Trump was so furious when doppey Sessions recused himself, bc it put one of the main conspirators in charge of the investigation!

Once Upon a Time
I was enthralled with Trey Gowdy
After a couple of years Listening
To him excoriate all those interviewees
Zilch, Nada, Zero
Nothing Happens

They used to call this a
Dog and Pony Show
It needs a new ‘Expletive’ Name

Dutchman

I’m with you – Gowdy sounds really good – but nothing ever happens.

What was the net result: The Jew Boy Rosenstein just droned on about how impartial they were….

I thought the same thing about Gowdy. But Trump has allowed Gowdy to have a new security clearance that allows him to go into things he wasn’t allowed to do under Obama, so maybe this time he can take more action. It’s now clear Trump is behind him.

What’s going on? In one word….gaslighting.

Or is it two words…gas lighting?

At the end of this vid, other vid choices appear and I selected Trey Gowdy Grills FBI Director C, Wray

Half way thru this vid, Jim Jordan takes over the grilling of Wray. At the end, Jordan is asking Wray for a document, upon which Wray uses deceit to basically say I won’t give it to you.
Jordan runs out of time and the Chairman takes over and states Wray has to provide the document to the House Judiciary Committee and if need be, to do so in a classified setting.

I did not get the impression that Wray would not provide the document, the one the Chairman said has to be provided.

In the past, a grilling by Mr. Gowdy of the DOJ resulted in a contempt charge against Holder that was ignored, as was any oversight concerning Fast and Furious gun running scheme. This happened because the DOJ and the executive branch were one and the same. Today there is a new sheriff heading the executive branch that may result in a different outcome.
In some circles, there is talk of a power struggle going on behind the scene, a kind of white hat/black hat scenario playing out. Unfortunately, conventional means will never undo the years of careful planting of progressive operatives that took place to “change America.” And as it is considered an internal war, the end is not certain. Unconventional, means that we won’t know the results, or even if what I’m suggesting is even true, until it’s over.
Anyway, I’m sensing more hope than the 8 previous years of “change that America can believe in,” and quite happy Hillary isn’t running things. How will it end? Not Sure.

Hoping for any changes to benefit the people coming from Congress is just ridiculous. They huff and puff and nothing happens, as noted above. Why would we expect this mess to be any different? Because the GOP has control of Congress? Expletive deleted.

Academy Award performance.

When you not only let a criminal walk out without a set of cuffs, but let him go back to his office in the Justice Department, it doesn’t really matter what you’ve got to say.

Yeah, it’s almost like he conceded to Rosenstein at the end. Already forgotten.

If you stopped a hundred average people on the street and asked them about this, how many would even be aware of it?

And would there be anything that you could do to make the ones that aren’t interested enough to investigate it and find out?

I’m of the opinion that people, like electricity or water, take the path of least resistance, and ignorance is definitely the equivalent of that path unless we can somehow make it otherwise.

I know several people that don’t care anything about politics and don’t follow politics. One reason is they get too pissed off, another is they feel they can’t do anything about it, and another reason is because they find it boring.

I’m beginning to believe the most important office to reform ASAP is the Joint Chiefs of Staff and then each Military Department. The real purpose the Founding Fathers wrote the 2nd Amendment is about to be called on because the whole Federal Government has been so corrupted by Leftest that it is probably the only way back.

If you looked at Rosenstein during that whole beat down you could see that he didn’t give two shits about anything Gowdy was saying or any of the rest of them for that matter. He knows that this is all just for drill, part of the overall theater of the absurd. Just put in his time, sip some water, rattle off a couple of bullshit stock answers and call it a day and head back to the office by six and then on to the club for cocktails and laugh’s with Mueller and the rest of the deep state criminals.

Yes, we were ok to expose it and get rid of him as his work was finished, Hillary was off the hook, the fisa court did what we wanted, the dossier was all over and we can investigate trump for anything including jaywalking 50 years ago. Poisoned fruit anyone.
