ANOTHER FALSE NARRATIVE – BLACK UNEMPLOYMENT AT ALL-TIME LOW

An alternative headline, which would show the true picture, would be:

Number of Black People Not in the Labor Force Reaches an All-Time High

As with the other BLS “data”, it is amazing how when you change the rules everything looks better. The BLS reported black unemployment at 6.8% in December, an all-time low. That’s kind of funny, considering 42% of working age black people are not working. These statistics do not include the 2 to 3 million black men sitting in prison.

It is easy to lie with statistics. The 6.8% rate is the lowest, but a little comparison to 2007 reveals the lie. This was before the financial crisis and the need to spin the data in a positive manner.

  • The total population of working age black people went up from 27.5 million to 32.5 million, a 5 million increase. The number of employed blacks went from 16.1 million to 18.8 million, a 2.7 million increase. A critical thinking person might question how their unemployment rate could drop from 8.3% to 6.8% in this scenario.
  • As usual, the BLS is peddling with a straight face that 2.3 million black Americans have it so good they voluntarily decided to leave the labor force and live off their accumulated wealth. The absurdity of this contention is beyond the pale.
  • In 2007 the black participation rate was 63.7%. Today it hovers near an all-time low of 62.1%. It has fallen from 62.3% since Trump ascended to the throne.
  • In 2007 the black employment to population ratio was 58.4%. Today it sits at 57.9%. Does this appear to be a positive development?
  • It gets even better when you look at 1999 data. The black participation rate was 65.8%, the employment to population ratio was 60.6%, and a much more accurate unemployment rate of 8% was being calculated.
  • Using the flawed and manipulated BLS methodology, black unemployment would be 9% to 10% if the participation rate was at 2007 levels. Not exactly an all-time low. Using the 1999 methodology would show an unemployment rate of 12%, almost double the bullshit number being peddled today.

More black people working is a good thing. If Trump has the balls to keep de-funding giveaways to the free shit army, they will be forced to get jobs. That would be a good thing for the black community and the country. But, lets not pretend black unemployment is currently at all-time lows. It’s a false narrative.

All narratives are false. Or at best, partially true (those are the ones that barb the hook concealed in the tied fly).

But anything out of the district of coercion is…tortured. Automatic invalidation. When those lips or pens move, you know they are lying, even if there are “truth-sprinkles” on top – intermittent rewards…& jonesing codependency.

Albeit squirming & shifting, the game ~ which is about nothing more than trying to circumvent harder reality ~ has rules. Rules that incentivize all the surreality.

People do respond to incentives. Not unoften those responses are rearguard, self-defensive, actions. Since they are all set-ups, these are death by 1000’s of cuts actions.

I began looking into econ in the 70’s because life’s necessities & requirements shifted, noticeably, then.

The assault on thrift & savings began then. A response was to dump fast depreciating fiat currency for tangible stuff.

Another response was the wives\mothers went to work in droves.

Debting as opposed earning fractaled down ~ emulation of the mucketymucks above – to joe & josie blow.

The overlords don’t work. Their politically insulated capital does.

That insulation is made from human tissues. Citizen tissues. Less & less tissue, harder & harder to live.

So many decide ‘that ain’t workin’ – that’s the way you do it – $ for nuthin’, chicks for free’ ♪♫♪ — & they try copying the big boys. Imitation’s the highest for of flattery…& boy does it flatten.

I’d suggest that every negro who is physically, mentally and emotionally capable of holding a job can find one. In fact, many who are not are hired anyway to meet legal mandates.

The standards and requirements the negro must meet to be offered a job are so low we have to assume negroes have long passed any reasonable measure of ‘full employment’.

Unit – how many blacks have you interviewed for jobs? I have interviewed a large number. I have hired a few, with mixed results ( same as with any demographic).

But here is the thing – if you interview 10 blacks, after having screened the applications – you will find 7 or 8 of them cannot speak standard English. And I do not hire folks that no speaka da eenglish.

I mean is it too much to expect that employees, in an English speaking nation, be expected to speak English?

And do not even get me started on their math skills. Just ask any one of them what 7 times 9 is, and see how you go. Or to subtract three or four digit numbers without a calculator.

In some locales, you could expect 98% of black applicants to be functionally illiterate with no or substandard reading, writing, speaking or math skills. Just what the hell can they do of value?

When I worked for a municipal utility we had to hire two blacks for every white to maintain a 50/50 ratio of service techs. That was because one of the negroes hired would not make it through his probationary year because of criminal, ethical or drug related reasons. Even then the white employees were the better qualified and grew even more qualified over time as they acquired more training and experience due to their ability to avoid being terminated.

This created a problem as the core cadre of the utility holding the top positions was mostly white. To save face any black who could show up and, as you mention, read, write and speak English reasonably well would, inevitably be given a supervisory role even if, technically, they didn’t understand what the work was.

Any negro with real ability would be poached by the private sector since they were extremely rare.

I’ve never seen a single black man or woman interviewed in my field. Granted I work in a field that has long touted the need to get more women but that’s where the diversity agenda ends. There is something like 0.02% blacks in the field and I’d bet they are all native to Africa, perhaps from the UK. Lots of Asians though, so I guess we got our diversity quota covered.

Point being, we’d hire a qualified black man or woman, they just don’t exist with the skills we are looking for. Suppose it’s raciss that we require little technicalities like college educations and communication skills.

Social studies have shown that when Blacks reach 30% of the population, Whites and others flee for many good reasons. If you have a goal of 50%, you are fighting nature. Personally, when I walk into a business and they are mostly Blacks because of owner or HR bias, tax breaks, demographics or whatever reasons, I walk back out. Unfortunately we can’t do that for local government but I have skipped buying property there and if I did and demographics went to Hell, I moved. Don’t like it, sue me. Besides, I think businesses naturally implode (K-Mart, fast food joint franchises, etc) when they load up on AA tax subsidized screw-ups who degrade the business and also “supplement” their incomes at their employer’s expense.

RHS – Detroit is the perfect example of what you are saying. In the 1950s Detroit was a flourishing white city of 2 million people. Black numbers began increasing, and whites began deciding to fuck off away from them – in huge numbers. Within around 25 years or so the entire 2 million whites had fucked off. And that is no exaggeration. And can you imagine the beating they took on their house investments to do so?

And so today Detoit has 700,000 inhabitants and zero of them are white (ok ok, 1% are white, so sue me for taking literary license), 95% are black, and the rest Hispanic. And of course Detroit is flourishing, right? Just kidding. It is a third world shit hole.

When a population has an average IQ of 85, is against education as a general rule, and has an aversion to work, social order, etc., it is not going to thrive. Further, it is prime breeding ground for corruption and despots.

Maybe the US should offer to buy anyone from Detroit who is willing citizenship in a foreign country, $100,000, and a one way ticket out of the country. But they have to give up US citizenship on the way out. In the long run, it would have to be cost effective.

Look just because you can not quantify gig jobs like drive up pharmacutical sales or secondary durable goods supply chain worker does not mean the jobs do not exist. Get off the BLS’s back. You are forgetting those people are in the BLS because they could not get a real job in the first place. You are mistaking crappy job performance for some dark and nefarious purpose.

In a ‘careful what you wish for’ moment, it dawned on me that the current push to legitimize mixed race marriage is the idea I once expressed; the best way to get rid of blacks is to absorb them. But I said that should have been done when they were few in number, over a hundred yers ago. Now, it would mean every white father would have to give his daughter in marriage to a black man.

Sad facts , an average IQ of 85 keeps you out of today’s job market my small outfit learned that first hand 30 years ago and stopped interviewing any blacks . The few we hired left due to a lack of ability to show up on time and stay for a full day ?? Must be institutional racism because we did not supply transportation or alarm clocks !

Just to correct a mistake in this article. There is not 2 to 3 million black men sitting in prison. The total inmate population is about 2.3 million which includes all prisons, jails and correctional facilities.

About 40% of them are black which also includes black women. So there are about 1 million black inmates in the U.S., not 2 to 3 million.
