Ms Freud, Gestapo, and Stucky Going All Cuckoo’s Nest In The Hospital

On Tuesday I spent four hours at my parent’s place doing housework and running errands. While I was gone, shit hit the fan.

Ms Freud, a breast cancer survivor, has issues with high blood pressure. It comes, and it goes. On Tuesday, her nose just started bleeding spontaneously.  A while later she got dizzy.  Then she could hardly stand.

So, she called 9-1-1. No one came … or they didn’t come quick enough … or the dispatch operator determined Ms Freud’s issue wasn’t serious enough.  I don’t know the actual story. But Ms Freud started to panic. She couldn’t get a hold of me, or her worthless son. So, she made several 9-1-1 calls.

I arrived to the house only to see two ambulances and three cop cars out front. Panicking, I run into the house as fast as I can. There’s Ms Freud, standing. That’s a relief. I ask, to no one in particular, “What the hell is going on??”

Click to visit the TBP Store for Great TBP Merchandise

Ms Freud tells me about the nosebleed, the panic, …. and that she feels PERFECTLY FINE now.

One of the cops says “The EMT is going to take her to the hospital.”

“What the heck for?”, I ask.

“Anyone who makes excessive 9-1-1 calls is deemed unstable. She’s going in for her own protection.”

I remain calm, but firm. “She doesn’t need some damned hospital for protection. She has me, she feels fine, and I don’t want you to take her anywhere.”

Another cop says with equal firmness, and with his hand on his gun (not bullshitting, folks); “It’s out of your hands. She is going in. You can go along, or sit down and keep your mouth shut!”.  Aggressive fucken nigger probably didn’t like white people.  Fine, I don’t like nigger copfuks.  I said nothing further to the nigkop, and told Ms Freud I’ll meet her at the hospital.

SIDEBAR DIGRESSION:  You regulars know I rent a good sized apartment in a 15,000 square foot, 135 year old mansion. Well, the landlord is here this week.  They come up every three weeks from Virginia. She has rules, many rules.  One hard and fast rule, which could get me evicted on the first violation, is; no shoes in the house!  She’s also very very German, her accent every bit as thick as my mom’s.  So, she knocks on our apartment door.  First think she sees, of course, are five EMT people and four cops. Within two seconds she tells them, loudly “I don’t allow shoes in my house. TAKE THEM OFF, NOW!”. Two minutes of arguments followed. Pissed and shocked as I was, I had to almost literally had to bite my tongues to keep from laughing out loud.  She grew up in Commie East Germany. She hates cops. Anyway, the copfuks told her to leave the apartment. But, she got in one last zinger.  As she’s walking out the door, she turns around and says in her thick German accent; “Why are there four cops here? This is a job for just one person. Oh, I know, because you are all stupid people.”  Folks, I’m not making this shit up.

At the hospital emergency room.

It’s almost one hour until a doctor comes. Black man, Caribbean accent.  Ms Freud (and I) explain the nose bleed, the blood pressure issue, and that she suffered a mere temporary panic attack. We’re thinking she’ll get a quick BP check, take her temperature, etc. and we’ll be out of there. Oh, nooooo, that ain’t happening.

He says that “in order to release you” the following needs to happen; blood work, EKG, and an X-ray. And if all those check out, she’ll be free to go.  WTF???

I ask him about this “release” thingy.  I said nobody needs to be “released”, that we’re not dogs, and that I have a good mind to just walk out right then and there. He just gave me a smile .. the kind that’s not really a smile at all, but a warning. Calmly he informs me that since she here by police order, that if we walk out without his approval/release, that the nurse will call the Plainfield Police, and that the police will now arrest Ms Freud, charge her with some crime, throw her in jail for at least the night, but before doing so they’ll bring her back to the hospital anyway, except this time she’ll be handcuffed to a bed.

A recognize a good argument when I hear one. So, we stayed.

Eventually the blood guy came.  Much later the X-ray guy. And then the EKG nurse.  All their machines are small and portable which they haul right to the bed. The blood analysis is done on site, and in under an hour.  Well, all of this took about 6 hours.  Ms Freud and I were patient the entire time, and very cooperative. The main nurse was actually nice and friendly, as were the technicians.

We were there so long, we went through a shift change.  New nurse in “charge” of us. A Nurse Ratchet Cunt (NRC). She says they’d also like to do a Urine Test.  Huh?  That wasn’t part of the deal the doc told us.  “No thanks.”, I say.  NRC says, “I wasn’t asking permission.”.  Well, I already know about the whole jail/arrest thingy so, I just mutter, “whatever”.  It takes about another hour for the piss test to be done.

All this time Ms Freud is in the ER area (not the reception area) hallway, along with dozens of other patients.  All of a sudden an orderly comes along, and wheels Ms Freud into a room further down the hallway.  He doesn’t know how we lucked out getting a private room. I would have to ask the nurse, Frau NRC.  This is roughly the conversation that followed. It lasted between 5-8 minutes.  Condensed obviously, but key phrases, thoughts, and even wording are accurate.

Stucky:  “Just curious.  Why did Ms Freud get her own room?”

NRC: “We’re keeping her overnight for observation.”

S:  “Are you SERIOUS?  On what basis??!”  (from here on out I’m kinda talking loudly.  By the end, I’m kinda shouting.)

NRC: “Your wife is unstable.”

S: “A panic attack means a person is unstable?  You can keep a person here against their will because of a panic attack??!”

NRC:  “No. It’s the phone calls.  Anyone who makes multiple 9-1-1 calls is obviously ill. She needs to be watched.”

S:  “Well, Ok, but she’s with me now. All your tests show that she is fine. I’ll make sure she doesn’t make any more phone calls.  I’ll take full responsibility.”

NRC:  “You have no say in the matter. When dealing with a mentally unstable person we have the final say as to when she leaves or stays.  Not the spouses. Not even parents.”

S: “Has she broken any laws??!!!  IS SHE UNDER ARREST!!!”

NRC:  “As far as I know, she’s not under arrest.  But, she was brought here … “

Before she could finish her sentence I interrupted her.  At this point, I’m kinda shouting, hence the caps.

“YEAH YEAH I KNOW ALL ABOUT THE JAIL BULLSHIT.  HERE’S SOMETHING ELSE I’M FAIRLY SURE OF. THE ONLY LEGAL REASONS YOU CAN HOLD A PERSON AGAINST THEIR WILL IS IF THEY ARE EITHER A DANGER TO THEMSELVES OR TOO OTHERS!  NO ONE HERE HAS MADE THAT DETERMINATION. IN FACT THAT CARIBBEAN (I almost said “nigger”, really) DOCTOR NEVER EVEN ASKED ONE SINGLE QUESTION REGARDING HER MOTIVES OR IF SHE WANTED TO HURT HERSELF OR GOD FORBID OTHER PEOPLE. I’M PRETTY SURE I KNOW WHATS GOING ON HERE!!! YOU JUST WANT TO BILL US LOTS OF MONEY. OK FINE WE’LL STAY BUT I CAN TELL YOU THIS, TOMORROW MORNING I WILL CALL OUR LAWYER AND I WILL SUE THIS FUCKING PLACE FROM HERE TO KINGDOM COME!! AND DON’T THINK FOR A SECOND I’M BULLSHITTING AROUND!!!”

In less than five minutes, Doctor Caribbean is in the room.  He hands us the test results. Has Ms Freud sign the release form. He signs it. Says “Good Luck”. And walks out the door. As we are leaving, I pass by NRCs desk. She doesn’t look up right away. I wait until she does look up. And then I give her a smile … a smile that really isn’t a smile … and mouth the words “Fuck You!”.

WHen they make her sign for her son sent for procedures sign her name with the following “under duress and without consent”. When the excessive bill comes for all the extra wasteful procedures and compass and deductibles, forward them to the police chief for payment. Then retain an attorney and sue them. A psych evaluation does not need X-ray etc. the healthcare in our country has been weaponized and that is why I obummer care was passed…..anything that man did was against this nation. I knew it then and we verify it today. Piece of pig shit that man was, still is.

Well, my first thought is “couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.”

Okay, got that out of my system.

It is astonishing how many f*cked up stories I have heard over the years about hospital experiences, and we’ve had a few of our own, once recently in Erlanger with our own emergency that happened to be about the same time as a gang killing. Let me tell you, hospital lockdown is not fun, at the same time being surrounded by gang members screaming “I’m gonna kill that mothafucka!” and I couldn’t even have my own firearm in there with me.

Recently I bought some of those plastic cards (like gift cards, without the strip) that can be printed on with an inkjet printer. We have printed several names and numbers on them, in case of emergency (these are for us primarily). 911 is NOT listed on them. Might get the old German lady to agree to have her number there, as well as a couple of close friends and/or neighbors, and be willing to do the same for them. Keep one in your wallet, stick one on the fridge, and give Mrs. Freud one for her purse.

And for God’s sake, tape a note to remember your phone to your dashboard. It’s what I did.

At barely 30 years of age I have a lifetime of abuse of authority behind me. Whether police, bureaucrats, landlords, or otherwise.

After seeing things like Kelly Thomas’s execution, or Daniel Shaver’s…..the US is embroiled in a war against its citizens. The people just haven’t figured it out yet.

Stuck, you might have lucked out. The pigs could have taken her to jail. Large jails have a psychologist on site to interview people who have attempted to hurt themselves or otherwise exhibit strange behavior. If so they would have kept her overnight for evaluation.

In a world where everyone can have a communications device on their person at all times for emergencies, it makes a lot of sense to get mad at “copfuks” rather than make use of said device.

Weaponized. When did that term enter the vernacular? Whenever the coinage, ‘institutions’ have always been that. Any of them can go from innocuous (seeming), latent, potential to kinetic defcon 5 like *that.*

Institutions don’t vie to serve customers; they vie to tie up the cattle…pasts, presents, & futures. Like hillary’s cattle “trade.” Heads I win, tails you lose: I get the whole beeve, from head to tail.

Hospitals, doctors? I’ve seen it too many times. Friends. Acquaintances. Me.

Longer story short, I went in hospital, via ambulance, last Spring. Was in for 5 days of clusterfuck, which was my apparent limit. I called the muse to come get me. Pulled the iv’s out. Got dressed. Went to leave & nurse ratched called security. 5-6 guys around me, wouldn’t let me leave. Was held 6 hours, until a waiver was finally brought for me to sign.

States, all tentacles & heads, & the captive, & captivated, “citizenry” that feeds, comprises, the catch22 beast.

Just factors, inputs, of production in the Bastiat window factory.

Just lube & fuel for the interlocking institutional – “legal” – machinery.

This is ‘your’ country, americanos :: Self-deception, keyless lock, lockless key, loch ness mess – a fake monster self-fulfilled real via all its 3rd party cargo cultists.

And blinded by the brite-sighters, apologists, couldn’t calc a net\net if their lives depended on it. Fear math – that’s the ‘sacred’(scared) geometry…of Babel, & Pisa & hooked on Pharaoh-oh-oh-onics.

I know this is probably not directly connected to Stucky’s post, but it seemed as good a place and time as any to show it. It definitely shows what so many of us have been commenting on here; government malfeasance and tyrannical overreach.
I know both the Hammonds personally, Dwight more than Steve. This is hands-down the most detailed and accurate analysis of the back story of the catalyst that led to the events concerning the Malheur Refuge take-over and subsequent death of LaVoy Finicum. Now that the Bundy’s, and those involved with them, have had their cases dismissed, the attention is turning to the Hammonds. And rightly so.
This family was honored for years as pillars of the community, and if it can happen to them, wow. It’s a long read, but well, well worth it.
Please, get past any knee-jerk reaction to the Bundy name, either way, and look at this. They need to be freed.

So, Mrs Freud is a breast cancer survivor? May I ask did she have to have a mastectomy and treatments? How long ago?

My nose would spontaneously bleed after my Taxol treatments. This went on for months.

My blood pressure has always been low, but last couple of times it was a little high for me. 130/80 is high for me.

Now my joints are all fucked up. This was not gradual, it happened all of a sudden.

Did anyone mention medical kidnapping?

15 years will be my goal after I hit 10 years;) Survivors like her are my encouragement.

I advise caution there turlock. I was making a report (never again) about someone who had assaulted my gf (the one who looks like stucky’s white witch). It is a complicated story and I was pretty agitated when the cop was dismissive and not believing me. I only did it because the man who did it lives on my street and knows intimate details about me and I have never met him. She had called me the night it happened in great distress. The deputy asked me if I minded being evaluated. I said no, do you? It was then he put on the handcuffs and Baker acted me….

The airport is a trip. It has one of the shortest landing strips in the world.
“To be more accurate, the actual landing distance of runway 02 is only 5442 feet with an approach that requires pilots to utilize everything their training didn’t prepare them for. The mountainous terrain surrounding the small airport forces an approach that’s anything but head on, resulting in a fast decent and a sharp turn prior to lining up with the runway. Frequent gusts of wind complicate matters even further, requiring quick yaw adjustments to the vertical stabilizer’s rudder, pitch adjustments to the horizontal stabilizer’s elevators and roll adjustments to the wing’s ailerons in order to angle the aircraft for a sane final approach.”

According to this article from 2009 they extended the runway. But I was there in 2012 and we landed on the short runway.

Stucky,
clearly you and wife don’t know much about 911. My buddy is an EMT. He told me the quick way to get service from 911 is to tell them the patient isn’t breathing and they’re turning blue or they don’t seem to have a pulse. The system riders know these tricks and that’s how they get the EMTs to show up for a quick ride to the liquor store, a warm, dry bed, or whatever they’re looking to scam them for. One dude used to call 911 just to have the EMTs show up to get him a drink of water or koolade, or whatever, because he was so lazy, he hadn’t left his lazyboy in YEARS. When he finally slid out of it, he slid right out of his own back skin-I shit you not. Any other EMTs looking at this can probably affirm this.

Oh, and 911 is a joke in yo town.

A few years back, I was gone for about 3 hours and forgot my cell phone. My husband was out on the tractor moving fallen trees. He got down off the tractor, stepped in a hole and broke his ankle. He tried to call me and was unable to reach me. The pain caused him to pass out for a time, maybe 30 minutes. Fortunately it was a nice day so he wasn’t exposed to extreme cold or heat. When he came around, he somehow managed to get himself back on the tractor and made it up to the house just about the time I pulled up. It never occurred to him to call 911. I don’t think he thought it was broken. The Saturday crew at the hospital didn’t think it was either, but made a followup appointment with an orthopedic surgeon. The orthopedic surgeon said they didn’t know how properly take and read x-rays and it was clearly broken.

We seem to think we can avoid things like this because we have cell phones. I miss calls all the time because my phone is in another room, in my purse, or in my pocket and it doesn’t vibrate enough for me to notice it’s ringing. I am not one to constantly check my phone. He can be at the house we are building working and making too much noise for him to hear me if I call him.

Anyways, the point is, shit happens and it’s not your fault.

FWIW, MC, somebody described the pilots landing at Toncontin in The Goose as ‘cowboys’. I recall the TAN/SAHSA landing you so vividly described where the pilot made a loop and a rapid descent. The stewardess distracted us from the situation by announcing that according to Honduran rules, passengers must be de-loused, she sprayed us all with an aerosol can rather quickly, I doubt it fazed even one of my lice. A passenger in the know told me her husband had been killed in a crash, presumably, he had been a pilot. Your the first person to address the reason for that landing pattern.
