typical tactic- she interrupts and tries to stop Jordan from making his point, which opposes her position

One of the most incisive analysis of the Jordan Peterson interview is provided by Paul Weston from the UK. A lot of Americans and Canadians do not appreciate that people from the UK are now fined or thrown into jail for speaking freely on immigration, Islam or other subjects forbidden by a growing system of state censorship. Orwell’s Big Brother is alive and well in the land of the Magna Carta and Shakespeare. Weston has emphasized the fact that the Cultural Marxists (this is not true liberalism despite high-jacking and corrupting the name) who are working overtime to turn the UK into an Orwellian hellhole were so consumed by hubris and arrogance that they did not do their homework and therefore did not appreciate the dangers of a Peterson to the intellectually vacuous edifice they have constructed. The Peterson BBC interview has taken off and is traveling around the world sparking debate and discussion – what a novel concept in the politically correct world we live in – which has been shut down or at least driven underground in most of Western Europe. The good news is that the cracks in the dam grow wider by the day and it won’t be long before the entire diseased structure collapses.

I think this whole interview with Dr. Peterson has been blown WAY out of proportion. The interveiw was not the best I’ve seen but it was not the worst I’ve seen either. Ms. Newman could have been more agreeable but Dr. Peterson has some quirks that would have made any interviewer a little addled. I watched the interview 3 or 4 times and each time, I was more and more convinced that it was no big deal. I think it would be good to just let the thing die and get on with out lives. Leave these two people alone and let them put this behind them.

She spent much of the interview trying to put words into his mouth.

“So what you’re saying is…”

“No…”

“So what you’re saying is…”

“No…”

“So what you’re saying is…”

“No…”

“So what you’re saying is…”

“No…”

You get the idea. She was utterly and completely destroyed by Mr. Peterson.

Suck start a .45 troll.
This was epic. The ability to calmly talk a SJW in their own habitat into a state of speechlessness is jedi level.

Point of comedic reference: You don’t ‘suck start a .45’. You suck start a Harley. Was an old Dan Aykroyd joke about what type of women he was looking for.

Dan says suck start a Harley, we say suck start a .45. Has nothing to do with the kind of woman I’m looking for, rather the end result.

L. Ann, absolutely not.
this is just one more piece of ammo to use, in the information war / fight to stop the madness,
using their own hypocrisy and stupidity as a stinkpile of evidence.
Any conservative with a young adult entering college or university should show this one to their kid,
with a caveat emptor so they can ignore and avoid the garbage being peddled.

“Ms. Newman could have been more agreeable” – I disagree.

Different opinions are OK, but making a point (argument) then she ignores the response and goes to the next opinion on her agenda. Never an outcome that all can agree upon.

It is like asking a politician a simple question to elicit a Yes or No – none of them do; they all go in verbose mode.

That was funny. It is extremely surprising that the stupid bitch has managed to get to where she is. If I were her manager, she would have been out the door on day one, for being stupid, presumptuous, accostingly argumentative, and just plain bitchy!

Hey feminists! You are not helping women or the world! You’ve made everything worse on your nearly six decade campaign of rage! Have you happened to notice the world around you?!

I’m sick and tired of cleaning up the fucking mess that you keep leaving behind – like the 1992, 1996, 2008, 2012, and 2016 election results!

More feminism is not the answer! It is the problem!

Channel4 used disagreeable internet comments on Mrs. Newman after the interview to change the narrative that Mrs Newman had to experience violent (in words) attacks by right-wingers, stating that they had to call in a security expert (on internet issues, not on violent behaviour). Damage done.
Peterson was flabbergasted. But well done Channel4: everybody now knows the level Channel 4 is operating at.

“Why should your right to freedom of speech trump a trans-gendered person’s right not to be offended?”

“Look at your conversation with me. You’re certainly willing to offend me in the pursuit of the truth. You should have the right to do that. It’s been uncomfortable.”

Her look is priceless. For a full fifteen seconds she is flat out stumped when he asks her if she should have that right.

“You’ve got me there.”

I thought he was masterful in maintaining the frame, restating the facts each time she attempted to change his words to fit her narrative and to demonstrate clearly why men are better than women in the workplace. SHE’S the professional interviewer with a degree in media and journalism and he is the amateur and yet he runs circles around her technique and turns the interview in to one that supports the very contentions she tried to undermine.

Imagine what our world would be like if instead of aspiring to be second rate males, women dominated the spheres in which they excel and worked in harmony with men who did the same.

I can tell you in our own family it has been a force multiplier, far more effective than anything I could do on my own, or visa versa. Men and women working in synch with one another and maximizing their natural gifts and talents leads to an orderly and productive life with very little friction. Competing against one another in shared responsibilities simply to make the sexes interchangeable widgets is a farcical premise.

Thank you Ms. Newman for showing the world the consequences of promoting people on the basis of gender or race and not on the basis of merit. She is clearly an ideological product of the government funded BBC’s efforts to achieve equality of outcomes in terms of numbers but not the equality of talent, ability or merit. And I don’t think Ms. Newman even realized she was made by Professor Peterson to look the fool to the entire world. It probably went right over her head.

He stayed calm, he stayed on point and he had the benefit of actually seeking the truth rather than fitting the truth into an agenda.

I’ve become a big Jordan Peterson fan of late–I like the way he thinks. He is always looking for the big, fundamental truths that really drive things, while at the same time staying really practical in his advice. The ability to think on many levels simultaneous is a rare quality. Plus he has a vast and broad knowledge base on which to draw.

Arguments can be won wit werds, but hearts & minds? Neverneverland.

& still, in the beginning was the word\s.miths, smitin’ syllable-scimitar’ists, for rents collectin’ on all that storage space. Too much stuffing, not enough right stuff, so, spam in a can, all across the land.

Can. But. Big but. Pin tail on Bertha’s big butt.

It ain’t that simple or straightforward. Linearity’s a flattering, credit-stealing (& stolen goods fencing) lie, mostly, & words, even Lincoln-tongued ones, ain’t Lincoln logs. You can’t build a tower with them that’ll remain standing – but you can façade & divide houses all day & night long with them…& that’s exactly what’s downside done with words. Behind the word facades are the terminator’s skeletal motives.

Bearings are pre-installed, prefigure the how\why of the roll, the course\direction. & the words used to describe it all, defend it all, & for the many so pre-inclined, impose\proselytize it all are more personal lubrication than compass, more deus ex machina than cogs & gears. I don’t see dead people, but I see dead words, all over the place.

In the series of linked short journeys that make up a life, ‘out there’ seems to be the intersect with ‘the course’ but it’s not. Or not nearly so much as it’s weighted, at least (there is something to that ‘all is one’ jazz…). Biology is a lot like fate. Determinism, intersect random lucky\unlucky coordinates, pinball bumpers & billiards rails, in-there 1st \ ‘out-there’ 2nd, determines, while “determination” insists on taking – narrative license, Bond, James Bond – credit for all those kills.

& value is as entirely subjective as the beauty of these subjective words vs those subjective words are in the eye of each subjective beholder.

Words are to people what water is to fish. Except fish live in water & people die in&for words. So taken for granted are words that they disappear into a foundation that isn’t – Pisa style, Millenium Tower style – a medium that marinates in the way that frogs slowly come to boil & ceviche is “cured” for consumption.

Words are inanimate things, symbols, wielded carelessly lopsidedly – no matter how much care is taken – since the net-net is not even recognized, let alone factored, typically. And words are sluiced thru gills, & swallowed, even more carelessly – because choicelessly. (My choice words about words are just as choiceless.)

And like other things unseen & yet still assumed – needily, compulsively – words are made magical, via hierarchies – Babel story stories scraping skies – named by words. Virtuous-vicious V for Vendetta catch-22 spheres of falling knife-edged dominoes. Mumbley-peg, feet of clay & toes of woe risked & lost, for sure.

If it ain’t already there, it can’t be bought & installed. Nor sold to another for installation, either. Words don’t add or subtract comprehension, or preferences; those pre-exist. At best all words can do is somewhat describe – or telegraph – comprehension & preference that already exists despite any\all words.

Action precedes every word. & for every action that *seems* selected by an action-taker, there are countless prior serial\simultaneous actions that were obviously not selected. Those unselected actions propel, or “select,” the courses taken, & the words used to enrobe those courses…& emperors…& all that melting ice cream.

Put another way, everything’s been said\written 6-sigma ways from Sunday, & so what? The continuous babbling has only polished the stasis fender; junkyard jalopies goin’ nowhere but back into the ground. Words wide-eyed are wax on\off medication, of self & others; either ya’ squint at them, scope ‘em, or they squint, scope – & squaw – you. Roofies. Slipped Mickey Finns slidin’ ya’ away to some juke joint soundtrack that’s got a good fight club beat, & you can dance to it.

But from whence was the tune called, & is all that shuffling & jerking dancin’? Or St. Vitus dancin’? Or just Duncin’? (When you observe most dancefloor waxers, what’s it look like? ha)

Last not least, this particular wordsmith is a prof in a public university (not that the private ones are any different). All such people are tax-eaters. Which is to say cannibals. So they eat the citizen-public at large, & regurgitate digested bits of it back into the commons gullet. What mad cow prions go around, come back around, & around, & around, wrapped in word-coats (language-coats – that includes math, stats, etc, too) that most immune systems can’t even recognize: the words are a cloaking device.

“You can only find truth with logic if you have already found truth without it.” ~ G.K. Chesterton

Words ain’t the map to truth they are assumed to gotta’ just gotta’ be. In action wisdom – or it’s lack – is revealed ♪♫♪. Sleight of hand is action that claims revelation, but what’s reveled is observer credulity only. There ain’t no magic. None, being so rare, most everybody wants that valuable, nay priceless, magic, & so thereby demand-conjure magicians. If ya’ build it, they will come. But if you came built thataway, so did all those comers. Here we go loop-de-loot, here we go loop-de-lie-for-loot.

At first, i thought “She’s a blooming idiot… did she not hear what he just said?” Then, after a few minutes in, I realized she isn’t ‘stupid’ at all; in fact, she’s very sly and tactical, and a masterful liar and twister of words. It was painful at times to watch an intelligent & thoughtful person sit there and have to put up with that level of manipulation & in-your-face disrespect. Luckily, Peterson was even better, and did a good job cutting thru her obfuscation and word-salads. Now, how he can put up with that, is truly a gift… it’s also why he’s been able to succeed in academia, bc it’s just about as bad!

This video is going to become an internet-classic – – a prime example of just how far ‘journalists’ are willing to go to blatantly lie and manipulate whatever people say in order to further their agendas. (and as a side note, did this ever get featured on the “Trending” section of Youtube’s front page, even though it’s racked up millions of views in less than a week??? Hmmmm….)
