We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me.

― George Orwell, “1984”, part 3, chapter 3

In the eight days following Donald Trump’s 2016 Presidential Election win, I wrote a series of three (3) articles based upon Charles Dicken’s literary classic, “A Tale of Two Cities”.  The first piece entitled “Best of Times Worst of Times” was a play-by-play of my own election night experience.  The second installment, entitled “A Tale of Two Cities” drew some comparisons between our modern times with Dickens’ major themes of “duality, revolution, and resurrection” against the backdrop of the burgeoning warfare between the aristocratic class and those of the peasants during the French Revolution.  And the third and final article concluded with these words:

If Trump ushers in a return to constitutionalism, liberty and renewed nationalist vigor across the world; then let us tip our hats, drink wine and dance in the streets.

Conversely, if violent revolution consumes the nations, including America; the ensuing societal breakdown will lead to starvation, mob mentality, war, death, destruction and blood flowing in the streets of cities like wine from a broken cask.  Out of the complete chaos a new world order might then arise as a phoenix from the ashes of the old system still burning.

Will liberty be resurrected? Or tyranny?

There is no middle ground.

Me, “The Good, the Guilty and the Guillotine”, TheTollOnline.com, 11/16/2016

I am not linking these articles here because they are beside the point right now; other than, perhaps, my comparison of Trump in the third article to the biblical Samson tearing down the twin pillars of left and right in today’s American political system. Beyond that, however, I want to discuss specific Fourth Turning revolutions in relation to their cataclysmic dynamics of power.

Written by the historians William Strauss and Neil Howe, “The Fourth Turning”, was published in 1997 and was, at that time, boldly proclaimed by the authors to be an “American Prophecy”.  The book is fascinating in that it very thoroughly documents recorded cycles of history across multiple cultures and eras in order to predict the timing of “America’s next rendezvous with destiny”.

The book identifies the timelines of historical events and matches them to specific life cycles of people in the form of generational archetypes. What is also interesting is how Strauss and Howe quantify and compare the recordings of history by multiple authors throughout the millennia to find uncanny comparisons in both historical and generational cycles.  Ironically, the comparisons stand up not only to the test of time regarding recorded events in history, but the generational turnings and archetypes also translate to ancient literature and other writings as well, ranging from Homer’s Iliad to the Holy Bible.

According to Strauss and Howe, the generations roll forward like waves in sets of four societal cycles, or turnings, each lasting approximately twenty years.  This means it takes approximately eighty years, or the length of one long human life, to cycle through four complete turnings. In America, the authors identified three specific Fourth Turning climaxes which occurred at an average of 85 years apart:

– American Revolution

– Civil War

– Great Depression and World War II

After the death of William Strauss in 2007, his co-author, Neil Howe, has said our current Fourth Turning crisis began with the global financial meltdown of 2008 and will reach its climax somewhere around 2025.  Just like in previous Fourth Turnings, our current era will be defined by widespread destruction, war, and overall breakdowns of trust in what were once considered to be unassailable societal institutions.

In viewing the recent daily headlines of alleged Russian election hacking, special counsel investigations, Republican “Obamagate” memos, FBI texting, the politicized U.S. Department of Justice, government budget deadlines and shutdowns,  Twitter wars, nuclear-powered North Korean midgets, et al, do you have any doubt we are in the throes of a Fourth Turning crisis?

Which brings me back to the concept of power.

There many definitions for power according to Merriam-Webster, but, for now, I want to focus on the (2nd) set of meanings as follows:

a : possession of control, authority, or influence over others

b : one having such power; specifically : a sovereign state

c : a controlling group : ESTABLISHMENT —often used in the phrase the powers that be

d archaic : a force of armed men

e chiefly dialectal : a large number or quantity

In every revolution there is established power and challenging power.  In every instance of American Fourth Turning crisis periods, there were offenses committed by the establishment that, in turn, forced the challenging power to rise up and fight.

During the Revolutionary War it was King George’s taxation without representation that raised the ire of the patriots in the colonies. In the example of the American Civil War, some believe it was the established Southern states violating human rights that forced Lincoln to correct the wrongs.  Others, however, believed it was President Lincoln’s federal infringement on State’s Rights that caused the South to stand up against that aggression.  And during World War II it was the benevolent, liberty-loving democratic Allies battling back against the aggressive expansionism of nationalist dictators leading the Axis nations.

In the current U.S. revolution, what established entity is not playing by its own rules?  Where is the entrenched power?  Who holds most, if not all, of the cards?

Like historical tsunamis rising from seismic ocean quakes of increasing magnitudes, every American Fourth Turning was larger and more violent than the last.  This does not bode well for the future.

There are those who claim power comes from the people.  In the case of the French Revolution, that was true and it did not work out very well for the aristocratic establishment of that day. Later, it was the Bolshevik’s in Russia that, similar to the French Revolution, introduced the people to a new boss who was worse than the old boss.

Others today, agree that money is power; or stated another way: “Who has the gold makes the rules”. If that is true, then who possesses that power today?  Trump and his Deplorables?  Or the financial establishment’s central bankers and global power brokers?

There are others who believe, as did Mao Zedong, that political power grows out of the barrel of a gun. By this definition, then, who has the largest arsenal of elaborate weaponry? The Second Amendment enthusiasts and concealed carry individuals with their semi-automatics, shotguns, switch-blades, and slingshots? Or the military industrial complex’s surveillance state backed by tanks, planes, drones, helicopters, Hum-vees, machine guns, and bombs?

How should one process the obvious answers to these questions in order to predict the future?

Well, if I had any marketable attribute, I would say it is my strategic ability to find the best and most efficient ways to get from Point A to Point B.  Even without thinking outside of the box. Because, in most strategic-planning endeavors, I have discovered that simple common sense is usually sufficient.  Take, for example, any organized group.  Like a chain gang, it is only as fast and strong as its slowest and weakest links in the chain.  Additionally, if these links, or obstacles, are successfully resolved, then any remaining problems beyond strength and speed for the most part, in most organizations, fix themselves.

In the early years after Y2K, I had a company that required more business but we did not have a sufficient sales staff to chase it down.  I knew customers had to find my company instead of vice versa. But how?  “What about Google?”, I thought.  According to my research, they were responsible for 80% of all internet searches at the time.  So, here’s what I did: I simply Googled search terms like ‘search engine optimization’, ‘SEO rankings’, ‘website rankings’, ‘internet rankings’, and others.  One company placed either first, second, or third for all of those very competitive queries and that was the company I chose to optimize my company’s website.  They were a newly launched Silicon Valley tech firm based out of India and they helped my business to remain at the very tip-top of the internet for multiple search terms and a number of years.

It was around fourteen years ago, when the founder of that tech company told me to buy Google’s IPO at $85.00/share.

What do you think I did?

By 2008 I came to realize exactly how corrupt Google was and I divested from them entirely. To this day, I have documented, time-stamped, evidence of their fraud.

But how does one fight back when the corruption is so well entrenched, so broad, so powerful?

Clean the swamp.  Release the memo.  Clinton Cash, Fast & Furious, the IRS scandal, Benghazi, there are so many, too many, examples of corruption to delineate them all here.  In any of these, has justice ever been served?  Will it be served?  Will Obama, the Clintons, Susan Rice, Eric Holder, James Comey, Robert Mueller, Rod Rosenstein, Andrew McCabe, and all of the other blue ribbon winners of the Corruption Clown Brigade ever be prosecuted because of Trump?

Not likely.

Even if more and more successes are realized by the guys in white hats, all the establishment power has to do is crash the stock market at any time. Or start a war.  When the misery starts, the people will blame what they think they saw. They’ll blame Trump’s tax reform, nationalism, foreign policy relations with North Korea, Russia, China, building the wall, tweets, and economic protectionism.  In every case the corporate media will describe in great detail how Trump screwed up Obama’s big beautiful country.  Day in, day out, Trump will be blamed and in ways that will make Herbert Hoover blush in his grave.

Expect that to happen soon.

Then, the Dems will win the mid-term elections this fall. Trump will face impeachment proceedings and the ever-elusive GOP Memo will be long-forgotten by 2020 when Oprah wins the Hat Trick Trifecta by becoming the first black, female president.  BernieClaus will be her vice president, with Eric Holder as Secretary of State and Hillary as our shiny new ambassador to the United Nations in charge of global gun confiscation.

Wall Street will go long on FEMA internment facilities.

Which reminds me of another true story:

Just before starting my own corporate venture around twenty years ago, I once worked for a smaller, family-owned company that did business at the national level. They started around the same time as one of their competitors, in the early 1980s. Twenty-five years later, the family-owned company where I worked was doing around $60 million a year in revenues and the corporate competitor (that was founded around the same time) was doing over $500 million annually.

The family wanted a piece of the larger pie, so they elected to bring in a new corporate team, and it was great. The new management conducted bottom-up surveys with the employees and, as a result, some of the family managers were moved into positions where they could mess things up no more.  I was promoted and had the world by the tail. Business really took off.  Everything was gangbusters, until the family members decided to end the experiment for their own reasons; namely, envy and pride.

Eventually, on a Friday, the entire new executive management team was fired.  I was doomed.  On that day, I knew it was just a matter of time before I’d be gone too. My fate was sealed because I had thrown in with the new leadership.  I bought into the dream.  Of the five or so other managers who also threw in enthusiastically with the new management team, I was the last one to be fired a few years later.

History will likely repeat in my case, but on a grander scale.  There are those now predicting the midterm elections are not looking good for Trump.

Either Team Trump cleans the swamp soon, or I expect to be doomed once again; and in short order. There also remains the possibility Trump is a swamp creature himself.  Even so, he didn’t fool me.  I just had no other viable choice at the time.

So, when the stormtroopers crash through my door in the middle of some future night, I will remember my nation.  It was a country that preferred form over substance, words over deeds, and contrived orthodoxies that celebrated faux tolerance over discernment, common sense, morality, and law.  It was a nation that didn’t deserve to last anyway.

Enjoyed immensely, we all need to get use to taking our medicine. I have for the past 20 or so years believed that the center will not hold. Too much money and power at stake, pride precedes the fall. The progressive left has destroyed the foundations of morality and encouraged the distain for being a nation of laws. Things are very ripe for the turning, so be it!

This is very sad. It is particulrly sad because it is so true. The President is going down. Even his inner circle including daughter and son-in -law are bleeding him out when they are not selling him out. A drowning man grasps at straws and a man who knows he will be killed by a cabal of thieves writes a letter to be opened upon my death. Samson brought down the temple on his enemies. The only power the President has is the authority to declassify. Releasing the secrets will not save him but it will reveal what the rats and snakes have been up to and show who they are. The question of pulling the plug on the market is one of timing: at what point will it have the most influence on the coming democrat landslide in November?

Perhaps Trumpy was meant to take the fall from day one and perhaps he knows this.

Good article but too dramatic for my taste.

The future will go on as ugly as today and if trump goes down it will be a wimper.

Let me know if a real revolution ever occurs, One that ignores hollywood figureheads like potus and Fink-stinks I mean feinsteins, and targets central banksters and “the tribe”, wall stink and the war pigs, secondaries like potus or just pos ….. they can be hung later….not holding my breath.

We are seeing it play out before our very eyes. The FBI is stonewalling Congress and its ‘new’ director, Chris Wray still has the stonewaller in chief, Andy McCabe as the deputy director. GOP eunuchs like Trey Gowdy instead of growling with defiance are content to invite James Comey back to clarify his earlier perjury. No sense in making a big deal about it. What’s done is done and prosecuting Hillary now would serve no useful purpose when your purpose is self enrichment.

Draining the swamp means special prosecutors looking into everybodies finances and their aren’t many in official Washington who can stand up to that sort of scrutiny. Better to let a hundred guilty men go free than to give up your only chance to rise above a government paycheck and wax rich as a consultant, lobbyist, director any of the other sinecures the Swamp has built for ‘team players’.

I don’t think that outcome will happen. I believe it is over for the Clintons and their corrupt friends. This Fourth-Turning writer believes there is only one big power in the United States: what I call the Establishment or the Anglo-American Alliance.

However, there is a stronger, larger group that is right now in the process of destroying the Anglo-American Alliance. This group is the Crown Beast aka International Banksters aka World Group Power. Since World War II the American-Alliance was very useful to the Crown Beast but now its usefulness is over. Now power is being shifted away from the USA.

The USA will have to go through a crisis period, but after that it will get better in the USA. The crisis period will not be total destruction and despair. Some violence yes, but not enough to destroy our civilization.

With the citizens of the New World Order celebrating the death of liberty with thunderous applause, while thousands of oddly shaped pink knitted caps sail into the air to symbolize that the sky is now devoid of glass ceiling.

That is one sickening image. I actually looked at one of those women’s marchers caps. I asked Nick if that looks anything like a vagina to him because I just don’t see it. It is supposed to be cat ears? What is that pussy hat supposed to BE?

Very nice tonesetter, Unadmitted. I am growing more cynical regarding Q as a genuine source of solid rumor. Once upon a time, I was pretty good at chasing down a hint of a rumor to a place only I might be able to find its origin. I learned quickly the trappings of a lie planted to send sleuths like me running amok. And, I learned that when the “enemy” plants a rumor as a distraction, I need to take my eyes off the rumor mill and see what is going on while the distraction captures all my attention.

I go back to it every time. Trump isn’t Hillary. I hope he turns the country around. I hope that, with his mistakes behind him granting him wisdom instead of narcissism, he has plotted to help release the country’s financial enslavement in order to secure the blessings of liberty for himself and for his posterity. Otherwise, we might well be treated to the spectacle of Oprah and Hillderbeast on Pride Rock wearing Pink Pussy Hats in 2020.

Maggie,

Q himself said that he planted misinformation in his posts at time AS a distraction technique. Likely it also allows “sniffers” to detect those in need of surveillance. Not all trails of crumbs lead to the bakery, but most do.

Trump is cast as the Grey Champion that leads thru the 4th Turning crisis, and the Q white hat Anons are part of that team in neutralizing the shill bots on social media. They did an admirable job on the #SchumerShutdown and are doing good work on #ReleaseTheMemo.

You may be correct of course, but I’m still holding out that the “Stealth Jeff” concept is truly in play, but realizing that the wheels of justice grind slow.

It was a decent article, in spite of dear Stucky accusing some folks of taking the nonconfrontational approach to article posting, but that fat French bastard! Phhhllllltttt. Is that how you write a raspberry?

This is a good one too. Thought provoking on many levels, like Homer almost except not exactly Greek. The family/business issues are heartbreaking, on many levels as well. Having just come through the ordeals of estate planning, funeral planning and attendance and awaiting the final parent’s sad and lonely demise resultant from the grasping clench of siblings fearful to lose any one thing. I hope you managed to retain some form of polite correspondence with the family members that forced you to go off and succeed on your own.

As for the strange idea that Hillary Clinton has to give back the money she and Bill swindled while they had access to the biggest slush fund in the freaking history of the world, well, that’s about as NOT going to happen as there is any chance you will trust Google to protect your password list.

But, it is fun to dream. America feels like a family breaking up because of a really bad business agreement gone terrible awry.

Nick’s up… turned on news and the Missouri Governor has made the national news. The only VIP I’ve heard of who threatened to blackmail the “other woman.”

Eric Greitens has some interesting connections.

Grietens supported Obama. He switched parties. I was skeptical and could not bring myself to vote for him. If his backers vetted him before the election, why was he not forthcoming on this issue. Seems like they would have used it against him in the election. Who was his opponent? Kostner? Kostner had a lot of support. I’m just playing devils advocate, here. The whole thing doesn’t make sense. But then, nothing makes sense anymore.

I did not care for Greitens because I knew a lot of military officer types hoping to parlay a short tour into a political career.

1. Stucky said RG chose topics and positions which were less than cutting edge. I am being as nonprovoking as I can be.

2. Nice article. Hope the family business did not destroy the family.

3. I suspect there will be no largescale arrests of powerful people or celebrities.

P.s. Missouri’s governor is either being set up or tried the dumbest blackmail attempt to hide his indiscretion.
Snide reference to Clinton and oval office escapades.

Now. Where did I miss the gun action.

Mary Christine

Why does all the interaction need to include name calling and inferences that someone is an idiot because they disagree?

Now if there are no facts to support your opposing view and one is just trolling, then name call away. Sometimes otherwise intelligent people still miss things. It’s when they are presented with facts, ignore them and double down that the piling on needs to take place. Just my honest opinion. I used to be a person who lost her temper and resorted to yelling. I found it annoys people more when you continue to speak softly and keep pushing the facts. Plus it keeps my adrenaline in check and helps me to think more clearly. It’s not always possible and it takes a lot of practice.

Outstanding morning read, thank you! I have one bone to pick, however, Lincoln introduced the Emancipation Proclemation into the civil war to drive the historical narrative and to persuade certain northern and boarderline states to join the Union in the fray. The overwhelming issue was “states rights” from the Confederacy standpoint, and “preserve the Union” on the Union standpoint. Period. Memiors and letters from those actually holding the rifles confirms this.

Uncola

You are correct. States Rights is a given from the standpoint of the Confederacy as I pointed out in the article. But many people today believe that for the union to be preserved, slavery had to be abolished in accordance to the rights as established in the U.S. Constitution. I was merely summarizing what people believe. I’m glad you enjoyed the article.

No, the issue was the Morrill Tariff, which made the South the slaves of the Northern industrialists, and which Lincoln said he would go to war to enforce…

While I too see some very challenging times ahead, I’m encouraged by the characteristics of the Cybers and Millennials. There is an observed “right leaning” (especially the Cybers) to them with reported numbers as high as 85%. Although the propagandist MSM is feverishly working the controls, they might not have enough lift to clear the end of runway. 85% of blacks do not support the open immigration dreams of their leftist leaders.
Alt-right, nationalism, conservatism, etc., is rising. Of course it could just be my delusional hope.

Generation Table

Cyber Generation
Born 2002 -2025

Generation Y also known as the Millennial Generation and the i.generation
Born 1982-2001 A civic generation, inner driven within the information revolution, striving to get ahead.

Generation X also known as the 13th Generation
Born 1960-1981 A reactive generation, street wise. Examples – Madonna, Tom Cruise.

Baby Boomers
Born 1943-1960 An idealist generation, often stressed out. Some sources suggest true baby boomers were born between 1946 to 1964 after World War II to experience the pop media revolution and the ideal of peace in our times.
Typical boomers include Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Cher.

Silent Generation
Born 1925-1942, 95% of this generation is retired. They are an adaptive generation because they have had to be. This generation includes beats and beatniks. This generation were technically born too late to be war heroes.

Unsurprising ,

I think Trump is working on the targeted approach. If you insist on that kind of violence, it would be better to just target the infrastructure of the media outlets without hurting any people.

Another well written article, Doug. I suspect the comment count will climb, as readers weigh in. Thoughts:

“In the example of the American Civil War, some believe it was the established Southern states violating human rights that forced Lincoln to correct the wrongs. Others, however, believed it was President Lincoln’s federal infringement on State’s Rights that caused the South to stand up against that aggression. ”
-I’ve been educated by TBP, and now believe the latter is the truth. Shame, the SJW’s don’t.

“In the current U.S. revolution, what established entity is not playing by its own rules? Where is the entrenched power? Who holds most, if not all, of the cards?”
“Others today, agree that money is power; or stated another way: “Who has the gold makes the rules”. If that is true, then who possesses that power today? Trump and his Deplorables? Or the financial establishment’s central bankers and global power brokers?”
-Again, the latter is the truth, as I see it. (Bankers and WW power brokers, media, 3-letter agencies)

“How should one process the obvious answers to these questions in order to predict the future?”

-An impossible task; predictions rarely have high percentages of accurate manifestation.
-Better to digest the signs we see, plan diverse strategies, and prepare to cope as best as possible, under the circumstances.

“Either Team Trump cleans the swamp soon, or I expect to be doomed once again; and in short order.”

-The heart of the matter, right there. The divided forces are already in a major battle, jockeying for the position of the upper hand. There will be casualties on both sides. At present, the violence is creeping upward, but most of us are relatively immune from it. That could change quickly, and things may get very dangerous as the battle intensifies.

“But how does one fight back when the corruption is so well entrenched, so broad, so powerful?”
“Clean the swamp? …there are so many, too many, examples of corruption to delineate them all here. In any of these, has justice ever been served? Will it be served? Will all of the blue ribbon winners of the Corruption Clown Brigade ever be prosecuted because of Trump? Not likely.”

-And here, based on history, our doubt reigns supreme, and the battle seems hopeless.
Odds of success? Slim at best.
Nevertheless, the soldier ranks are growing, and the battle must be fought. Rally the white hats.
-The alternative is simply too difficult to accept for ourselves and our upcoming generations.

-An extreme blowup and reset, or rise from the ashes most likely will have wiped out too many of the seasoned veterans that know the mayhem is upon us, and the fears we have may soon be realized.

To step back from the gloom, and look for inspiration,
A speech comes to mind…

“Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force!

You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fronts, you will bring about the destruction of the ____ war machine, the elimination of ____ tyranny over the oppressed peoples, and security for ourselves in a free world.

Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle hardened. He will fight savagely.

I have full confidence in your devotion to duty and skill in battle.
We will accept nothing less than full Victory!

Good Luck! And let us all beseech blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.”

Dwight D. Eisenhower, on the eve of D-Day.

Back in the early 1960’s there was a TV show called “The Outer Limits”. It was a more sci-fi version of the Twilight Zone and one episode I saw all those years ago still sticks in my mind. It was about some aliens who gave our government officials something called an “Obit Machine” which stood either for obituary or observation and intelligence. The Obit machine enabled those who had access to observe and monitor what anyone else was doing or saying.

As you can imagine people began misusing the machines for their own purposes. Spying on their wives or business partners and soon people were at each other’s throats. Its not a whole lot different than what our FBI and NSA have built today except they are the only ones with access to an Obit machine.

In the TV episode mankind was able to overcome the alien device when it was discovered the aliens could not be observed on the machines and thus it was easy for hum!ans to identify and destroy them. If only it was so easy for Devin Nunes and Senator Grassley

Good article and I’ll post it tonight. The one thing we regular people have going for us is the government is bankrupt. Back out all the fiat debt in the world and a lot of people who look rich and powerful won’t be so rich and powerful anymore; they’ll be broke like the rest of us. The last three 4th Turnings have increased the size and power of the US government. It’s hard to see where the real resources come from to make the US government still bigger and more powerful after this 4th turning. All the real resources have been mortgaged and spent. We’ll see. At least we live in interesting times.

Uncola

Thank you, Robert. I tend to think government has the potential of expanding in this turning as well? This time, however, morphed into a global monstrosity.

After the crash, while the debt serfs are screaming for crumbs of bread, the inner-circle of the established order could then monetize the earth via Agenda 21 “Green Economy” decrees in order to subsidize the new world’s (cashless) system. A couple items raised my eyebrows: I’m not quite as quick to cede the midterm elections to the Dems, especially seeing how they fumble-fucked the gubmint shutdown most recently.
And, your description of Hillary at the UN spearheading gun confiscation has burned an ugly, unholy image into my brain that may be hard to erase!

So what happens when different nations are at different points on different cycles of Turnings? And what if different nations & societies progress at different rates toward their next Turning?

For instance, Germany & Japan were wiped out in WW2 which likely threw a big monkey wrench into into rates of social change, etc.

So what happens when the US is in it’s 4th Turning. China is in it’s 2nd Turning. And Europe is in it’s 3rd Turning?

Mary Christine

4th Turnings don’t always end well for everyone. Look at the French Revolution. Sucked to be them.

Gerold

Excellent post, Uncola! I expect it’ll generate many comments. As you say, “Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.”

In order for us ‘red-pilled’ to survive and thrive we need the three most important attributes of survival:
1) Attitude
2) Attitude
3) Attitude

All the money, gear, skills and education in the world are worthless if we adopt a negative attitude. I don’t suggest we ignore the shit that’s piling up. Just take it with a grain of salt and adopt the right attitude of “NEVER GIVE UP.”

I agree with Yojimba; “We have a front row seat at the Greatest Show on Earth” so let’s prepare as best we can, keep our eyes and ears open and enjoy the show.

I am contented knowing that no one can be 100% prepared for the unknown as I’m reminded of the Frenchman who, sensing the approach of World War Two, moved his family to the peaceful island of Guadalcanal.

The level of hatred, vitriol, and opposition to Trump by TPTB since he announced his candidacy is evidence he is not a tool of the swamp, although he may unwittingly be lured into looking like one.

It seems to me our future rests in the hands of the military. Which side will have access to its power? Any guesses? I suspect the military is the reason Trump is still breathing at this point, but that could change I suppose. Inviting the generals into his administration may have been a brilliant move.

We are infested by barbarians and traitors, and half the nation has some inkling of the truth. Every day that passes with no discernible action taken against the vermin increases the discouragement and the rage. This is the year that determines our future.

Mary Christine

Gayle, that’s what I keep going back to. The level that the Establishment has gone to in order to try to take Trump down. If they are all in on it then the acting is brilliant and puts Hollywood to shame.

However, his daughter married into the swamp and will he allow her to go down with everyone else? I don’t know I can’t make heads or tails of anything anymore.

Uncola

Gayle says:

The level of hatred, vitriol, and opposition to Trump by TPTB since he announced his candidacy is evidence he is not a tool of the swamp, although he may unwittingly be lured into looking like one.

There are some who believe the global establishment / round table groups have so mastered the Hegelian dialectic that even when they lose, they win. It’s how they used world wars to transition through the League of Nations to the United Nations. What next?

If Hillary won, their plans for global unification would have been expedited. Since Trump won, then he will be used to draw out any globalist opposition that can be demolished at their leisure. Then, an example to the world will have been made regarding the foolish, antiquated notions of nationalism, and borders, as relics of time’s past.

“See? Trump’s policies have delivered war and economic devastation,” they will say.

Again, I am not trying to be a pessimistic defeatist here, per se; but it may be dangerous to place all our hopes in Q, planefags, and anons, as well, ya know?

We can not stop this ” level of haterd , vitriol and opposition ” if we don’t control some parts of the media. The media has already been weaponized as a demoralizing weapon to Control white people .We are in not only in a spiritual war but what probably will be in a physical war in some parts of the our nation .The media is in the hands of our enemies who hate us with ever part of their being. This hate will continue.

Solid piece of writing, hung on every word and will re-read it…outstanding, disturbing. Passing it to my inner circle outside TBP.

Up until Trump my pessimism knew no bounds. Started to stack 2 X 6’s with nails driven through them and bails of pine straw to cover them to completely surround my rural home and all likely approaches. Just before the election cleared two places I would put in tactically advantageous hidden reinforced fighting positions and many other last stand steps that would make, what I was positive would come by the second half of Hillary’s term, a bloody expensive cost to take my guns and because of that inevitable reality, my life.

I often thought to myself: “Was God merging the End of Days into the 4th Turning?” I struggled and wrestled and searched the scriptures to justify my planned, defiant, unyielding, violent plans…it would not be my first rodeo. I looked at the bright side…if it came to pass no reason to fear the nursing home gloomy stay!

My world view is Biblical, my salvation/eternity settled… yet, I am not the martyr type. I can not convince myself not to prepare to fight, not to cling to my Bible and my guns. Audit, expose, tar and feather the Money Changers! Let the Lion of Judah ROAR!

And then there is Semper Fi do or die…digging in-in my sandbagged bunker mind.

Now, after this year I have some hope…is this a reprieve? Or just the preamble to Civil War 2? A couple of changes with the lawyers in black dresses and the baby holocaust could really end? Can all this Q stuff have some truth? Is the soft coup falling apart and being exposed?

I just don’t know…but I’m heading out…to buy more ammo.

Mary Christine

Mark,I am hoping it’s a reprieve. We know how it all ends eventually but there are a lot of Christians that believed we were fast approaching the rapture. Personally, the jury is still out on a rapture as far as I am concerned.

The world will end at some point. It doesn’t pay to get all wrapped up in trying to guess when it might happen. God is full of surprises and it behooves us not to try too figure out what he is up to. He will let us in on it on a need to know basis.

2×6’s with nails in them, hmm, nice idea.

Nice writing, BTW

Mark

Thanks Mary,

Yea, put the 2 X 6’s under all windows, leading to doors, to porches, approaches etc., sprinkle the pine straw over. If the SHTF I can surround my home, barn, chicken coop, root cellar/bunker and man cave with silent sharp sentries that will announce intruders while alerting me of their screaming impaled presence!

I have a sense Trump is a reprieve, but the duration and depth of it is up to U.S.

Maybe we just need the 4th Repentance?

And, Mary Christine… I have been eating more carbs than usual, but I think it is a pending sense of dread that burns my gut.

Mary Christine

Your sense of dread is a type of worry, Maggie. What does worry get you?

I have a red spot on the problem child, and am now on doxycycline. I have an appointment with the plastic surgeon tomorrow. I am trying not to have a “pending sense of dread” regarding that problem.

Thanks Maggie,

Here is another SHTF trick I have read about in one of my Prepper books that made me smile. Lay down thick plastic in front of your front/rear doors on the porch (I had old office chair plastic used to glide on) and sprinkle ball bearings on it when you retire. So I went on Amazon and bought two packets of ball bearings…and tried it out…I went ass over tea cup. Nothing like a little early warning prat fall comedy during the Mad Max event!

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-01-23/democrats-demand-twitter-facebook-crackdown-releasethememo-russian-bots-there-just

Schiff is German for “ship”. It’s kind of ironic, isn’t it? Given that ships rock to and fro before they sink?

The longer they take to release the memo, the more time the other side has to prepare, make stronger their defenses, and spin their advanced deceptions.

And if the memo is as bad as they say, look for the dark powers to sink the stock market faster than Harvey Weinstein saddling a rubber duckie in Meryl Streep’s pool.

Logic and reasoning is only one part of the human mind. “Attitude” is another. Our limited human thinking insists that we can predict the future based on our understanding of the facts. The science of human thinking demonstrates that our “attitudes” frame and shape our understanding of the facts. Doug articulates many incontrovertible facts but can’t escape his emotional reactions to those facts. His emotional reactions lead him to conclude that we are all doomed. I believe that greater wisdom teaches us that our individual responsibility is to displace fear with faith and courage. I would like to see comments that help Doug and myself get to that place. Just sayin’.

Uncola

First things first, Gnome. Greater wisdom, faith, and courage can’t kick in until the people realize the calvary might not be coming.

That’s what this piece was about.

I have written on some of my own solutions before; to wit, letting go of pride, exhibiting faith and overcoming fear through action, deeds over words, preparing, “making hay while the sun shines”, etc.

There are specific steps that can be taken now and I will, more than likely, revisit these again soon. Stand by…

I grabbed a comment from Mark, above, January 23, 2018 at 4:57 pm and hope to try to see if I can invite some thoughtful discussion on a topic Mark stated quite well. I will use his own internalized question shared in his comment, above.

“Was God merging the End of Days into the 4th Turning?”

Okay, editing this to take my own advice and use some paragraph returns.

Mark mentioned pessimism that permeated our view of our rapidly changing world at the turn of the century. I think about my early adult years and realize rebellious songs about sex and drugs and rock and roll really ushered in an era of decadent sexuality, of which my generation (between boomer and X… I mentioned earlier being on the cusp, born in 1961). So, emboldened by advertising revenues gleaned from television commercials, media specialists repackaged decadence animated cartoons designed to suggest behavior a tiny tot might want to emulate or toys they might need an indulgent parent to buy.

So, the media culture poured Anime cartoons (my son liked Sailor Moon I wonder why) into their minds and onto their clothing (how many Pokémon shirts have you purchased?). And, bit by bit, those odd traits spread into the whole of our culture (where do you think the pink, purple and white hair comes from?). You’ve seen the sexless, genderless youth decked out with face bling and shaggy hair colored magenta and ink that might make a biker blink. Is this the culture you thought we were working toward? It isn’t the one I wanted for my son. And, believe me, I limited his ability to watch that crap severely, but when it is everywhere, what can one do? Sure, you can chain them to the bed and dress them in matching clothes, but then you end up on the evening news charged with child abuse. The Medium is the Message and the message is that devoting three of your five senses (sight, hearing and (lack of) speaking) to any medium will subject you to the subliminal messages the promoters of the medium want you to get. And then, at this same time, I went to college and studied journalism.

So, I started getting really pessimistic in the 90s, trying to convince myself there would be something worth writing about… that maybe there really were a few conservatives left somewhere and then, one September morning, everything changed in an act of horror so large no one has been able to put into words the evil thing done not only to our country but to mankind as well. So, yes, the pessimism had been growing for some time for many of us who have watched the rational world of our youth grow increasingly irrational and violent. And, Trump appears to offer something else.

So, having placed the distracting chatter on the counter while holding onto my point all along, the world changed dramatically in the 1990s, in case you didn’t notice. Instant communication worldwide became a reality for the common man and by the time BushtheYounger took office, the dotcom explosion was underway and that brought access to new types of information to viewers of all ages. Entertainment was no longer confined to a piece of furniture that sat in the corner of your living room and communication was no longer about a handset which required you to speak into a microphone and listen for the received signal. It was a fundamental transformation of American Society. The idea of businesses being able to conduct business on a computer network was one whose time had come along with the Satellite capabilities required to make it work. So, the world changed and the ability of people to see it happening in real time expanded at the same time. Then, along came cell phones.

So, here we are a decade into the next stage of fundamental transformation, complete with OWS defecating on police cars, policemen killing unarmed people in hotel hallways, black lives matter while whites are racist because they are and we are filled with this strange sense that the world, as we know it, is about to become something altogether different. So, when Mark asks if it feels as if there is something not only Cyclical, in the sense that 4th Turnings, while chaotic, are cyclical and, therefore, natural phenomena, while End of Days suggests a Divine Intervention in Human Affairs promised by none other than our Lord Himself.

As for the final questions Mark posed about whether we might or might not get a reprieve from the End of Days, I can’t even begin to ponder. However, I hope that some of the learned Biblical minds here at TBP (and there are several here whose encyclopedic knowledge of the Bible stories of my youth is impressive) will pipe up and contribute to this little side discussion:

Does it feel like End of Days to others and if so, can you support that with Scriptural Prophecy?

I think I have that cleaned up.

Hey, Underoos… see if I got that cleaned up to make some sort of sense so EC doesn’t call me maroon again (when we know he means tbpbff)

Maggoo, Are you saying that god reads Strauss and Howe? That he wasted all that time preparing the world for the Messiah when he could just have waited for The Fourth Turning to come out in paperback?

Some folks find it difficult to grasp that night follows day; that the earth is not flat and the sun does not do donuts or figure eights in the sky. How then can they grasp a plan centuries in the making?

The time frames of Strauss and how (80 years) is about as wild as they can handle. To paraphrase Everett Dirksen: A billion years here, a billion years there, pretty soon, you’re talking real time.

“But beloved, do not let this one thing be hidden from you, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.”

Maggie
Maggie

There you go again.

No, I’m saying that, as Mark expressed above (and sorry if I dragged you in where many posters fear to tread), the enormity of the events we see around us seem to be growing in intensity, severity and frequency. I don’t even turn on the television any more during news time. I’d rather not know for a while, I think.

Does it feel more like the End of Days kind of Earthpangs instead of Fourth Turning Chaos? Could it be both?

Gayle
Gayle

Good question, Maggie

I had a quiet grandmother and a noisy one. The latter filled my head with talk of the immanent rapture the whole time I was growing up. It took a long time for me to get past the preoccupation, but as time went one, dear old grandma was proven incorrect. She had a truly miserable life, so I get why she was interested in its manifestation. I have spent the majority of my life pretty unconcerned with it, trying to focus instead on the possibilities and duties of each day that presented itself, which was enough of a challenge.

The problems in the world right now honestly do not seem any greater than usual, although to us they feel especially bad because we live in a dying empire. Also, we have access to way more information than at any time in the past.

However, what makes me take notice of a possible cosmic spiritual change is the level of technology enabling the control of masses of people, exactly the kind of situation described in the whole 666 scenario. Also, the messing around with the human genome that is occurring, along with advanced terrestrial weaponry, space weapons, AI development, transhumanism, bioterrorism, etc., etc., makes me think mankind is destined to bring the whole thing down (that would be life on earth) if left interminably to his own devices. The earth itself seems damaged and restless now, too.

So yes, this is possibly the final, Apocolyptic Fourth Turning, but maybe not. Maybe there will just be a terrible war that kills most of the people and turns the power off for a good long time, and mankind will slog on with a fresh set of old challenges.

Ghost

Well, that is certainly a cheerful alternative. Thanks!

Stucky made fun of me elsewhere for not being familiar with the term “dispensationalism.” In my own defense, I asked the 76 year-old lady I walk with tonight about the term, knowing she was born and raised country hick baptist less than 20 miles from where I was born and bred. She said she never paid attention to all those charts and drawings people put up when they put on a special program at church to talk about such and such theory. She either sat quietly and listened (or pretended to) or slipped out for kitchen duty, preparing coffee and snacks for discussion groups after the sermon/lecture. So, while she understood what I was talking about and can certainly discuss the pre-trib, mid-trib and post-trib aspects of Rapture with enthusiasm, she doesn’t think she or any of her friends are dispensationalists that she knows of.

So, it ain’t just me.

Mark
Mark

When I said: “Was God merging the End of Days into the 4th Turning?” Maybe I should have said: “Was the 4th Turning merging into God’s timing for the End of days?”

Mark, that sounds better. I really doubt god is reading Strauss and Howe. Here’s my quibble: where do you get the EOD reference? I thought it was a movie with Arnie. Mankind may end but it is possible another super-race like mankind may arise billions of years later. In fact, I have read some suggestions that we are not the first.

“That which has been is that which will be, And that which has been done is that which will be done.”

It may seem like this verse speaks of an “end of days” but you’ll notice the earth’s inhabitants are still alive: “The sky receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the nobles, the commanders, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and free man, hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. And they said to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.…”

I see that act of betrayal.

“And God requireth that which has been.”

Every 4th turning probably feels like EOD to the people living through it.

This is the first one that the possibility of tagging humans with biometric IDs is real. Congress is at it again and I only heard about this because I was listening to John B Wells program from last night.

Congress Quietly Pushing Bill to Require National Biometric ID for ‘ALL Americans’

Ron Paul is trying to enlist people to fight it but it has overwhelming support right now.

“Naturally, this bill is wholeheartedly supported by the anti-immigration sect and has gained 70 co-sponsors already in only a few days. As with most police state-promoting legislation, fear of illegal immigration is being pushed to garner such support. However, as Ron Paul points out, the bill won’t just target illegals—it targets everyone—and it will use your most private information to track you.

“Under the statists’ National ID scheme, you’d be forced to carry around your National ID card, tied to this massive database, chockfull of biometric identifiers like fingerprints and retina scans,” Paul noted. “Without this ID, you won’t be able to legally hold a job — or likely even open a bank account or even board a plane!”

This really is the scary part of the whole immigration debate. The Trumpeteers and random rah-rahs will pooh-pooh any effort by the ACLU to shoot down this malarkey. iPhones will serve as papers, tracking devices, traceable payment monitors and salvoconducto in this brave new land.

Libertarian minded people will become persona no grata and they’ll be hounded as traitors for refusing to become cattle. Like lemmings out on a stroll, the furries will put the noose around their necks under the delusion that all animals are equal.

Kinda makes you wonder if the deliberate flood of illegals is but a ploy to make low-IQ and malleable minded maroons demand their own shackles. They certainly seem to be playing into the spider’s parlor.

Hmm, I wonder if Maggita will taste the sharp blade of the guillotine and be relived of the weight on her shoulders under this new animal regime? She might if she steals my comment as per usual.

I haven’t been able to drop in for what, at least three days. And I only have a couple minutes right now. Too bad; this is another outstanding article. AND comments.
I have a couple quick comments.

First: I haven’t read the ‘Fourth Turning’ book, but from what I’ve seen and read about it, it seems to fit with my own years of historical readings. Here’s my question; does Strauss and Howe mention a larger cycle made up of 4th turnings as components? Has anybody seen or commented on such a larger cycle? And if so, what does it show?

Second: I find it fascinating that the discussion has morphed into a comparison/merging of eschatology and 4th turning cycles. The comment that every 4th turning has increased in effect would make me wonder where it all ends. I’m fairly well informed on biblical reasons and prophecies, and I can definitely see where this is going . Just not exactly when. If you don’t look at it through a spiritual lens, then you probably won’t be able to, or even want to, see the connection. It’s just another natural rhythm.
If you do, then it makes a lot of sense, and ties in. At least if you refer to the Christian bible. And if you are really aware, the Muslims believe that the appearance of the twelfth Imam is imminent. That ties in, too.

Sigh. Gotta go. I’ll be back as soon as possible, might be a couple of days.

Uncola

TS – The set of four twenty year (average) turnings we’re called a “saeculum”. The authors did not mention a larger cycle, per se, combining separate saeculums. But, at any given “turning” during any saeculum, the set order of the generations on the age ladder is called a “constellation”.

I have never been one eager to see pain, war, or death–my heart has always been too soft for its own good. Nevertheless, my frustration with the rampant lies and hypocrisy rammed down our throats from the sleazeball politicians (no matter their affiliation), the sycophantic media, the flagrant FBI, and in many areas, from your everyday average Joe (the West coast is just teeming with them, like a rampant infection feverishly stoking them to sacrifice individual freedoms and common sense in the name of the ever-encroaching “greater good”), has reached its zenith, and I am ready to see change, no matter how violent the proceedings may become. At this point, the only remedy for the poison coursing through our country’s veins is complete eradication. The corruption runs too deep, and too many are infected by lies. Those of us who aren’t are by now too livid from the steady stream of bullshit to ever go back to being meek little mice. May the firestorm come, and burn through the bullshit and the lies, and may personal liberty, truth, and justice survive the aftermath against all odds.

Ghost

I decided to bit of research regarding the idea that this fourth turning might “seem” to coincide with the Deluge of Divine Proportion. The idea has a name.

Historic Premillennialists seem to believe Jesus will literally be on the throne in Jerusalem for a thousand years starting pretty soon versus Dispensational Premillennialists, who believe there will be a Rapture of the Saints into the air to join in on the reigning from the spiritual kingdom. I will be honest and tell you that as I researched it a bit, I realized I grew up entrenched in dispensational religious theory and doctrine and I never realized it until right now. I realize that I have seen all of those numbered charts with the various dispensations detailed off and on all my life.

I was just remembering the type of people who study such things with earnest devotion to achieving understanding of something about God. They are usually very sincere and kind people hoping to gain insight into some heartache God has given them. And, they speak in platitudes about learning to experience true joy through the anguish of grief and loss. World peace is not on their short list: they seek the rapture and/or the final dispensation. They tend to lack formal education, though their reading ability and comprehension of spiritual and biblical themes are refined by hours of devoted study and thought given to the Lord’s Word. They have little notebooks stored in shoe boxes in their closet or file cabinet which contain numerous pages of notes from numerous discussions in church classrooms. Many of the notes reference Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah and Revelation 20, among other OT books.

So, someone who knew what they were doing could probably co-opt these nice folks much like the Moral Majority coopted their support and turned it into a political weapon once upon a time. Religious people can certainly be valuable in political debate because they tend to exhibit genuine sincerity, at least initially. Unless they are able to keep their religious beliefs OUT of the debate, faith can be a real stumbling block to a successful political career But, since most of our politicians seem to have very little problem setting aside their beliefs while in office (sarcasm both intended and not), that stumbling block is easily overcome. A politician from this part of the country who can convince his constituents that his religious background is the foundation for his values will not lose their support easily. And, if he sins? Nothing they like more than a tearful repentance and a round of forgiveness.

So, I think Dispensationalists exhibited great influence on people in the Bible Belt here and throughout the central plains region. It is a different sort of culture here and I’d almost forgotten about that until I pulled my fatherinlaw’s rosary out of my purse one day (keep it for sentiment and for “protection” and luck) and my walking buddy saw it and was surprised I would have a rosary. I explained and she seemed to understand that we are not Catholic but my husband was and sorta is in that way that Catholics always can just get the last rites and call it good. Yeah, true Fundamentalist Baptists are not fond of the catlickers, so now her husband is a bit suspicious of me, I think. Lots of these types of good folks here. And, they don’t know they are “premillennialists” any more than I did before a few hours ago when I came upon the term and looked into it further.

But, premillennialism seems to be a word that applies to the sense that THIS time the events are more violent, chaotic and profound than ever before. The “right series of unfortunate or unforeseen events” which could be lined up and compared to other big events globally and perhaps galactically (SpaceX stuff?) might be used to exploit such believers. I would imagine the propaganda experts would not miss an opportunity to be on the first rollout or “launch” of the operation. Because a good public relations campaign is more than a short term thing; it intends to change the landscape and be around for a while. Public relations is a term that kinda sorta means Public Policy but doesn’t say so because that sounds political not businesslike. What does Edward Bernays and public opinion theory have to do with dispensational premillennialism and fundamentalist Protestants across the midwest? Timing is everything, so they say, and you do not have to look further than Prohibition to see how a really crazy idea like legislating moral behavior can go really bad and then think about the other dominoes which might have fallen into place a few years prior to the roaring 1920s. What was prohibition really about?

So, if we see current chaotic events continue to build to a climactic event that looks as if our Lord is about to stroll down through the clouds, you can bet there will be a shitload of evangelical preachers making a fortune off someone somewhere. So, when I started wondering if there were any reason to think someone might actually manage to weave some Baptist dogma with 4th Turning theory and create anything other than a mess.

So, here’s my attempt to see if I can find a way to sell the 4th Turning as a sign of the second coming. Perhaps I can trigger the memories from my childhood regarding the thousand year reign and find me a couple of the real “old timer” preachers out here and get the real scoop. It would be a hoot. I don’t know though… perhaps this is just another late night Maggie ramble that took away a few minutes you can’t ever get back again. Oh well. here’s the link.

(I thought this paragraph excerpt was interesting in its wording and content.)
By way of clarification, it should be noted that while all dispensationalists are by definition premillennial in their eschatology, not all premillennialists are dispensational in their theology. Historic Premillennialism (e.g. in George Eldon Ladd) rejects pre-tribulationalism, dispensationalism’s radical tenets, and its uniquely Jewish view of the 1000 year millennium. Historic premillennialism may be traced back to some of the early church fathers where it was sometimes termed “chiliasm.”

Maggie,

This was a serious meat and potatoes post!

I have a day of chores calling, I will read it again tonight and get back to you.

Maggie,

I enjoy reading the backgrounds of those who want to share it…adds bright colors to their views.

Background: Raised Catholic by a religious Italian Mother and by a non-practicing Coal Miner/Factory worker Irish Father. (Yes, I am a conflicted Mick –Wop). Every room had a picture of Jesus or Mary (and many held my Dad’s Bourbon stash). Went to Catholic school as a young boy, still scared of Penguins! Wonderful parents, all the love and tender discipline a wild all boy-boy needs but between Latin masses, scary giant penguins and a boyhood priest with a harelip and a tongue for a whip demanding and berating the flock for 10% for what was a palace rectory and regular new Cadillacs…Catholicism left me spiritually uninspired and more then wary.

Then I got mad at God (and America) after Nam (not mad at God during – made multiple desperate promises and deals I never kept) and walked away from Him for 22 years, ignoring and or occasionally mocking “organized religion” and those who thumped Bibles, calling myself agnostic and living by my rubber rules. Hindsight being 20-20 I had made an idle out of my patriotism, was seriously traumatized and riddled with PTSD.

At 43 took a stroll down my own Damascus Road to an instantaneous supernaturally changed stone heart…to one of flesh. Prayed for and then wandered into an unusual “contemporary” uplifting wonderful Baptist church. Went from milk to meat to dealing with consequences to after 3 refusals over the years becoming a Deacon (I used the old Groucho Marx line on them, didn’t want to belong to a church that would have me as a Deacon) but they persisted. I was the only Deacon who looked and sounded like he belonged on the Sopranos but was more Redneck then anyone in the congregation. You don’t have to be a snake to be a Copperhead or be born in the South to have used the Rebel Yell in war. Started teaching children God’s Word and found my gift/nitch…spiritual legacy.

However, prophecy was rarely taught and after getting steeped in everything but…I was hungry for what was coming. I could sense the book of Revelation opening and hear the 4 horsemen getting ready to ride just watching the news on my TV.

I did a lot of driving as a consultant all over the country from 2000 on as hired gun business fraud investigator. While on the road I listened fascinated to every “Left Behind” book on tape. That was the trigger…and like a lot of Americans…9-11 pulled it.

I retired in 2015 (amazed the economy was still intact) and for the first time in my life had enough serious daily time to pursue many dreams, including an in-depth daily study of Bible prophecy. I’m a voracious reader with good retention and went through the Evelyn Woods speed reading course in HS. I have a massive library of books on every view of the End Times. I like the link I sent you with the chart the most. I was long convinced (being born one year after Israel’s dry bone resurrection that – that prophecy was fulfilled). I had a chance to be alive to see the End of the beginning!!! I threw myself into the study of the who, what, where, when, why and how of the great snatch. I am 80% Pre Trib % 20% Pre Wrath. Prepped for both.

Now, this was long before I read the 4th Turning…then I said to myself…Wow could what seems like this amazing, historical, generational and seemingly inevitable (80 year or so) reoccurring crisis be woven together by God into the time of the Rapture, the Tribulation, His 2nd Coming? No matter the exact order and timing?

10 signs given by God to lovingly wake us up so we’d give our lives to Him before it’s too late are:
1. The Jewish People regathering in 1948
2. Modern Technology
3. Worldwide Upheaval
4. The Rise of Falsehood
5. The Rise of Wickedness
6. The Rise of Apostasy
7. One World Religion
8. One World Government
9. One World Economy, and
10. The Mark of the Beast.

What believer can reasonably deny we have already reached number 6? How fast could 7 through 10 happen? Faster then a popping Everything Bubble! More powerful then a horrific False Flag, able to implode more tall buildings! Look up into the sky…is it a bird? Is it a plane…no…it will be JESUS CHRIST!

Maybe the 4th Turning will be the last turning…before the 2nd coming?

I love the line of one of my internet Bible Teachers: “You can hear the footsteps of the Messiah coming!”

Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback, Mark. I hope some Stuck-in-a-bad-mood sort doesn’t get his panties in a wad and jump in your shit for talking kindly and respectfully to a country hick who didn’t realize she WERE ONE until recently.

Maggie, you were prime suspect A#1 for BW’s alter ego so don’t give me that, “I never knew I was a hick” baloney. https://youtu.be/Mbk81X6WHA4

Ghost

I actually TRIED to put together a BW post, but all it did was bring the real wench out to flail upon me and slobber all over Scramblin’ Man. BW is an enema wrapped in a dildo with a mask to cover the makeup hiding the scars.

I suppose I knew I might be a hick on some level, but honestly, until I moved back to this hillbilly country after living in “civilization” for 30 plus years? Seeing the locals through my new perspective made me realize I was once like them, but not any more. I got a real firsthand lesson in cognitive dissonance, recognizing that I’d caught a glimpse through the matrix and needed to pay attention. So, yes, I know some BW types and perhaps some of them are a little too close to the genetic pool I may have once swam in. But, I don’t know them that well and I don’t have them over for supper, if you know what I mean.

In light of the “real” Bee Dubwa commenting below, this is really very clever, don’t you think tbpbff?

Mark, I just reread this very thoughtful and cogent response to my earlier attempt to determine where I think “we” are at in the old Alpha-Omega timeline. (By the way, Anonyouranass, Ancient of Days morphs into End of Days because of the Alpha and Omega tie in. And if I have to explain it further then Anonyouradumbass.)

I am glad I did; it has given me food for thought on this dismal day in dental distress. Hopefully, you know whosie will choose to walk on by.

Sad that I think I know people who actually talk like BW talks. For instance, this happened to me and I STILL do not think it funny. When I was about 15, I got home from school see a late 70s model Porsche at my father’s, um, office in the back yard. After it left, I asked who was driving the awesome Porsche. My father, who acted like he was a bigger hick than he was, declared that he believed a Porch to be something one might relieve oneself off in the late summer’s night and he said he thought he’d write up a story for the newspaper about the Porsche. And he did.

So, BW… just because you grew up visiting the outhouse longer than you should have doesn’t mean you can come in here and drop turds all over Unappreciated’s post before it has run its course. Next thing you know, you will be dragging a pack of raccoons on here with little swastikas painted on their asses.
