Weaponized Consensus by the Collective Establishes Counterfeit Premises to Control Contrived Contingencies

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

– 2 Timothy 3:13

They are like chaff that the wind blows away.

– Psalm 1: 4

Many years ago I read a book entitled “People of the Lie”  written by Scott Peck, an American psychiatrist.  It was a fascinating analytic study of malignant narcissism and deceit. I came away from the book with an understanding that a very significant percentage, if not the majority, of people in the world are not decent.

Other conceptualizations presented by Peck in “People of the Lie” included disguise as a main motive of evil, along with descriptions of people assessed as such to being self-deluded, as projecting their own actions onto others, as utilizing the pretense of love to actually hate, and as possessing an inherent intolerance to withstand criticism.  The author further identified evil as the opposition to life; even acknowledging the word “evil” aslive” spelled backwards.  Dr. Peck also claimed evil could be measured by its consistency and conceded that decent individuals have difficulty in cognitively processing the concept:

[Erich] Fromm saw the genesis of human evil as a developmental process; we are not created evil or forced to be evil, but we become evil slowly over time through a long series of choices.

When confronted by evil, the wisest and most secure adult will usually experience confusion.

– Peck, Scott.  (1983, 1988). “People of the Lie: The Hope for Healing Human Evil”; Century Hutchinson.

Peck also illustrated evil as more than the mere absence of good but, instead, as being overtly hateful and destructive. In other words, evil can manifest either by contingent circumstance or design.  More often than not, however, it is the latter; evil happens on purpose. Furthermore, although the banality of evil is evident throughout history, it often materializes in the cult of personality; or, stated another way, institutionalized by way of The Collective.

The Canadian psychology professor, Jordan Peterson, is a modern intellectual warrior who daily combats the pervading cultural orthodoxies of political correctness.  In a recent interview, he stated something to similar to this:

If you live in the post-modernist world, there is no truth; just victory and power games.

However, that is not a modern phenomenon at all. It has been accurate for evildoers, people of the lie, narcissists, and immoral reprobates, from the time mankind first sought political asylum east of Eden.

But what happens when the power of The Collective consolidates and usurps the authority of entire nation-states and monolithic multinational corporations?  There is a modern linguistic formula that helps to understand.  It looks like this:

EVIL x POWER x DECEIT = ORWELLIAN

The term Orwellian is derived from the writings of George Orwell (1903-1950), specifically “Animal Farm”, a satirical fable written in 1945 that described the events which preceded the Russian Revolution of 1917 where many in The Collective were deemed more equal than others; and “1984”, a 1949 novel depicting a dystopian future where government monitored and controlled every aspect of human life.

The protagonist of Orwell’s latter novel is Winston Smith, a middle-class member in the Outer Party of INGSOC, a totalitarian regime led by the figurehead known only as “Big Brother”.

Winston worked in the Records Department of the “Ministry of Truth” where he revised history on behalf of the Party while under constant surveillance both at work and home. He acquired a diary and began to record what Big Brother and the INGSOC party (i.e. The Collective) condemned as “crimethink” and “thoughtcrime”. Smith was eventually mentally and physically broken by means of torture under the auspices of an evil government operative named O’Brien, whose duties were similar to those of a modern presidential special counsel investigator.

In many ways, the writings of George Orwell proved prophetic.  For example, “1984” described three world super-states all engaged in eternal warfare that assured the continuance of their respective regimes.  In 2018, however, there is another Orwellian Trinity that also coordinates in unison to control the collective minds of their subjects.  The Orwellian Trinity today consist of the Political Left, the Military Industrial Complex, and the Corporate Media Messengers, all of whom conspire together to weaponize public consensus via the establishment of counterfeit premises which are, in turn, used to control contrived societal contingencies.

Feigning love and concern for the citizenry, the modern day manifestation of the INGSOC party, led by loyal Democrats, have sought to control private lives, consolidate power, and restrict personal freedoms by weaponizing healthcare, welfare, FISA Courts, illegal immigration, and anti-gun initiatives.  Using Orwellian terms like Hope and Change, Election Hacking, Black Lives Matter, No Justice No Peace, No Trump No Wall No USA at All, Hands Up Don’t Shoot, #MeToo, #OneLess, and No More Guns, the Orwellian Trinity of the new Millennium marches in lockstep toward a predetermined future.  By way of the Hegelian Dialectic they progress.  First they create a problem; then they sow seeds of discord before finally demanding solutions designed to augment and centralize their political power.

For healthcare, The Orwellian Collective prevented insurance companies from selling across state lines. Then, when their control measures eliminated free markets causing premiums to rise and the entire system to falter, they sought to nationalize one-sixth of the American economy; or 16% of America’s gross domestic product.

Through Cloward-Piven inspired burgeoning domestic welfare programs, ever-increasing deficit spending, economic malfeasance, and wars abroad; the global elite powerbrokers have bankrupted the United States and destabilized nations around the world.  At the same time, they have created a mass migration crisis that is purposefully subverting many previously wealthy societies throughout the northern hemisphere.  Globalists, like George Soros, have also financed color revolutions around the globe as race-baiting leftist politicians, the Hollywood entertainment industry, and the American Sportsball Complex further incite hatred and divisions far and wide.

From a positive political standpoint, the Orwellian Trinity has nothing to offer so they have, instead, established a false Russian Election Hacking scheme, a hypersexualized #MeToo guilty until proven innocent campaign, and have, most recently, commandeered emotional and traumatized school children in a shameless effort to override the constitutional rights of law abiding citizens.

The American people grew tired of wars abroad and they elected Obama.  Very soon, they realized how the community organizing Nobel Peace Prize recipient loved war more than Ares and Athena combined.   So, last year, the people voted for Trump’s platform of immigration, trade, and America First.  In the days leading up to, and following, the 2016 Presidential Election, the Orwellian Trinity have forfeited their last remaining vestiges of credibility.  Fake news was the final nail in the coffin for any respectability they once thought they possessed.

While a narcissist has no interest in being good they intensely want to look good.

– Peck, “People of the Lie”.

Now Trump’s tax cuts are benefiting people as they are realizing more money in their pockets, consumer confidence is growing, and the poll numbers for the Orange One are rising.

Soon, the Orwellian Trinity will need to collapse the economy in order turn the tide.  Be assured, in the minds of The Collective, Trump’s tax cuts will be blamed.

Never underestimate the reactive power of the Orwellian Collective who move in sync like a murmuration of Starlings.

For example, when conservative radio talk show host, Rush Limbaugh, appeared on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, on February 18, 2018, and conflated Russiagate with former President Obama, how did The Orwellian Trinity respond? The same way they did when FISAgate was getting too much traction and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein indicted 13 commie Cossacks who will never see the inside of a courtroom. Like rabid cats running after getting raped in an alley corner, within hours following Limbaugh’s comments, another obscure Crazy Ivan was very conveniently indicted with allegations that special council investigator, Robert Mueller, plagiarized from a 2015 Radio Free Europe article. Once again, the Orwellian Trinity toyed with the emotional mice running around in the hearts and minds of their useful idiots.

Furthermore, when questions of credibility were raised in the aftermath of the Parkland shooting regarding the well-spoken witness, David Hogg, who is the son of an FBI agent, the Media Messengers went into full defensive mode before initiating a full-frontal offensive attack on none other than Rush Limbaugh:

But in certain right-wing corners of the web — and, increasingly, from more mainstream voices like Rush Limbaugh and a commentator on CNN — the students are being portrayed not as grief-ridden survivors but as pawns and conspiracists intent on exploiting a tragedy to undermine the nation’s laws.

However, prior to the unwarranted vilification of Limbaugh by the Media Messengers, he had never once commented about Hogg.

Obviously, the Messengers will not tolerate critique of their narrative while, simultaneously, lying about those who call out the overwhelming deceit daily promulgated by the Orwellian Trinity.

This is exactly what deep state operatives Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein do as well; they investigate others for crimes they themselves committed.  Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller as special council signed off on at least one of the misrepresented, and therefore illegal, FISA applications to spy on Donald Trump.  Moreover, it was Rosenstein who advised President Trump to fire Robert Mueller’s close friend and associate, James Comey; an act for which Mueller hopes to bring an obstruction of justice charge against Trump.

Mueller was also former president Obama’s director of the FBI when the Bill and Hillary Clinton Foundation received $145 million in Uranium One payments for selling twenty-percent of America’s uranium deposits to Russia.  And, who led the investigation into the Uranium One sale? It was Rod Rosenstein, the same Orwellian troll who hired his best friend, Robert Mueller, to investigate Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia.

And why not? Mueller had quite the resume when it came to covering the multitudinous previous crimes of the Orwellian Trinity.  When Mueller was FBI chief he had achieved multiple unsuccessful prosecutions, including:

The IRS targeting of Christian, Tea Party, and politically conservative organizations

The Fast and Furious government trafficking of guns into the hands of Mexican cartel criminals

The Department of Justice spying on AP reporters

The investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server

The HSBC money-laundering scandal.

Mueller also bungled the 2001 anthrax letter attacks that killed five people and infected 17 others,“bent over backwards to please radical Islamist groups and caved into their demands”, and made devilish deals with the brutal Boston butchers Whitey Bulger and Stevie Flemmi.

If only the Parkland shooter, Nicholas Cruz, would have shot as many blanks.

Now Mueller and Rosenstein are pointing their crooked fingers at Donald Trump?  Instead of being judged by a jury of one’s peers it’s more like being audited by a ring of racketeers.

How do they get away with this?

Again, it is because, the Orwellian Trinity, consisting of the Political Left, the Military Industrial Complex, and their Media Messengers, accuse their political opponents with the exact crimes they, themselves, have committed.  When you fight dirty, and control the nation’s institutions of law enforcement and justice, it becomes difficult to lose.

Moreover, because they collude in harmonic unison, the Orwellian Trinity creates an illusion of widespread consensus.  This manufactured unanimity is then, in turn, used to coerce their challengers into accepting whatever basic premises are set forth by the Messengers.  These erroneous suppositions are conveyed via hypnotic introductory phrasing like:

Experts agree…,

Sources say….,

Polls show…,

Military intelligence indicates…,

Lawmakers recognize…

Witnesses claim…

Then, the Orwellian Trinity utilize their vast propaganda networks to spread their orthodoxies in ways that transition diplomacy into war and political correctness into Orwellian newspeak faster than you can say: “Big brother is watching you”.

In the same way the antagonist O’Brien, in Orwell’s “1984”, tortured the story’s protagonist Winston Smith – while fully aware of what he was doing, so does the Orwellian Trinity relish in the sweet, succulent seduction of power.

We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power.

 – Obrien, ”1984”: part 3, chapter 3

Indeed, the power of the Orwellian Trinity lies in their ability to frame any debate.  This is seen by the bipartisan support for Mueller in Congress and when Republicans like House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Jason Chaffetz of Utah tweeted: “Mueller is a great selection. Impeccable credentials. Should be widely accepted.”

He who smiles at a liar, discredits himself.

The white hats lose even before the first shots are fired. This is exactly why scary, black semi-automatic rifles, high-capacity magazines, and bump-stocks, are blamed in mass shootings in cities and towns that sound like military code names for projects and operations including: Newtown, Roseburg, Blackburg, Meridian, Omaha, Oakland, Brookfield, Seal Beach, and Parkland.

Even the Las Vegas mass shooting by Steven Paddock, according to the city’s top law enforcement officials, smells fishier than a Sandy Hook.  Investigating that case should have been open and shut; like shooting fish in a barrel before an ersatz black pyramid:

 paddock (păd′ək)

n.

  1. A fenced area, usually near a stable, used chiefly for grazing horses.
  2. Sports
  3. An enclosure at a racetrack where the horses are assembled, saddled, and paraded before each race.
  4. An area of an automobile racetrack where cars are prepared before a race.
  5. Australian A piece of fenced-in land.

tr.v. pad·docked, pad·dock·ing, pad·docks

To confine in a paddock.

For most mass shooting events today there are multiple similarities in every one; as well as the obvious irregularities. In the case of the Parkland shooter, Nicholas Cruz, the oddities were legion.  Here was a depressed 19-year old boy, who couldn’t run a microwave or drive a car, but was living with a former (decorated) military intelligence analyst who allowed the troubled teen to keep a handful of guns, including an AR-15 and two other assault rifles in his room.

Even though the FBI was warned about the kid’s blatant insanity and, in the three months prior to the school shooting, deputies were called to his previous home three times in one month  for a fight, a welfare check and report of a weapon –  it was the gun’s fault that 17 kids died at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Valentine’s Day.

Evidently, now even President Donald Trump has accepted the Orwellian Trinity’s premise of the guilty gun.

Think about that.  At the same time unprecedented widespread corruption is being revealed in the highest offices of the Orwellian State and pervading throughout the entire Propagandic Corporate Media, these same guilty parties are pushing for increased gun control initiatives on law-abiding citizens.

Even the Corporate Media Messengers at CNN, the self-deluded arbiters of truth and justice, has called one of the Parkland students a liar for identifying the Media Messengers as fraudulent purveyors of deceit.

Imagine if Hillary Clinton was elected which, perhaps, was in accordance to the original plans of the Orwellian Trinity:  Russiagate would be now be considered chimerical, but the Parkland and Vegas shootings would have likely delivered executive actions for a complete gun ban and confiscation as the Media Messengers, like CNN, chanted like high school cheerleaders at homecoming.

Attacks on the Second Amendment will not occur without any blowback, however.  Too many people today, in unison with America’s founding fathers, believe their constitutional rights derive from a Higher Power that outranks big brother.  Many of these are the same citizens who, by and large, acknowledge the type of superior Providence which, they believe, contributes to the humility behind their proper perspectives and right action.  As for the rest, including the Orwellian Trinity, the creators and cultivators of the hive mind, and the people of the lie, they may, ultimately, once and for all serve as the means to their own end.  William Shakespeare put it this way:

Time is the justice that examines all offenders.

“As You Like It”, Act IV, Scene I, Line 80

As you (of all people) know, there is always an element of apprehension when posting. It’s hard to predict how any piece will be perceived. Your comment means a lot to me HR because you have been a tough customer in the past. I’ll have you know I have been working on “carefully considered exposition” in lieu of the poor “substitute” of “flowery words and perfumed farts”. You didn’t think I’d forget that, did you? I realize I still have a long way to go, but one can only hope to improve from where they started. Thanks again.

Fantastic analysis Uncola. Great comparison’s to Orwell’s 1984. We are indeed there NOW.

Wonderful, horrifying piece. I would just like to add a tiny bit of optimism, which is that a lot of us out here are fighting back as hard as we can on as many battlefields as we can. And we are in it for the long haul, aren’t we. And we do have a few advantages: we are armed and not just with the truth; we are not stupid snowflakes who would not last more than a few days with their pacifiers; we are stout of heart, clear of mind; and, we are in it to win it.

A carefully considered exposition of excellent quality that I’ll post tonight. The more I see of this world, the more I believe that there is going to be an epic, even apocalyptic, battle between good and evil. Ultimately the good must triumph, or the species dies, but it’s going to be a hell of a battle.

Outstanding, Unc.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?” NKJV Jeremiah 17:9

I read ‘1984’ way back in the day, I was about 16. It had quite an impact on me then, but it took many more years for it to metastasize, along with many other eye-openers, into a coherent understanding of human nature. Many horrendous experiences only solidified and validated those first hints that this world might just not be all that I had been conditioned to believe.
I’m by nature a very upbeat and optimistic kinda guy. I generally like people, one-on-one and get along with just about everyone. Some I have met, and some I know now ,are true paragons of virtue. Not perfect, but really good people. But most people I have known over the years have done, when the pressure was on, or they thought no one was looking, little evils and some big evils that a lot of you wouldn’t believe if I revealed them.
Recognizing the truth is not cynical, its being sane. I see where the world is heading, and why. There might be a few more ups and downs, but the inexorable descent is only speeding up the closer we get to the bottom.
There will eventually be a blow-out. No one knows exactly what will trigger it; there’s more areas than we can keep track of. We don’t even know where one of the myriad sparks wafting through the tinder around this globe will ignite.
There will definitely be blowback, in many more areas than just guns. In many more areas than the US. Which is what the deepest of the deep are licking their lips for, waiting for that moment to strike, just like a big bass under a stump. That blowback is what will lead to the next step; justification for an intense crackdown. That will be the ultimate ‘shit gets real’ moment. Even the shouting will be all over. Human nature. There’s too much power, influence and high tech in the hands of too many that nobody knows, who have zero compunction about a ruthless application of horrors for their own ends to ever think that we will be able to withstand the final assault.
Makes me feel like a Spartan. And it will end the same, but at least we will have stood. That, too, is an aspect of human nature that I have come to recognize.

Too bad for those lunkers, they’ll never feel it until the Master Fisher sets the hook.
My belief, after all that effluvium, can be summed up in one short sentence –
The owner’s coming back, and the rent is due.

And yet another superb analysis to dwell upon as we spend the day tapping the trees in a freshly fallen snow. Hope and despair continue in their timeless struggle for our time, short as it is.

I had a big grin reading the opening…I read most of the “People Of the Lie” while sitting in a patch of woods over two weekends outside of a Distribution Center…in between binocular scans…waiting to catch a part time Security Guard (who was a well thought of full time town employee) in the act of loading his trunk up with stolen retail goods…we were tipped through a Hotline call and once exposed the person of this lie admitted he had been doing just that for years.

Citizen Trump is a con man. A member of The Club of Rome. Orwell was a disaffected socialist, not a nationalist. Animal Farm had Napoleon as the name of the bad guy. Such tripe and twaddle.
Trump is BUYING TIME. The American Century died with the Economy. The people predicting collapse weren’t wrong. It already happened.
The Federal Reserve just sent a warning out. Economic collapse is being noticed. They dumped TWO TRILLION in under Obama, and not even a blip. This talk of recovery is FAKE NEWS.
Civil War II is inevitable at this point. Trump did NOTHING. Those Reagan style tax cuts and Bush League warmongering. The enemy has no brain apparently. Everything is a Xerox copy or a rerun.

Our nation is constantly lied to by These ” elites ” in the media. If we are to recover from this as a nation we have got to take control of the media.Mass media and the people in Media must be taken out one way or another. They are liars who are deeply involved in this Evil of Deception. I’m not sure how to remove these These trailors short of war . Only violence will stop them and that’s why they want to take our guns away.

Well said , well documented , no person of honor and integrity would dispute the truth outlined . Now What ?
Voting doesn’t fix it , writing , e-mailing and telephoning our elected minions doesn’t fix it ! Now town hall meetings do not either exist or are so controlled that it is completely Orwellian in nature . Attend a town hall or council meeting and challenge any of the “NEW SPEAK” directives and you are instantly declared out of order . Challenge that and you are dragged out by badge wearing minions and likely charged with some fabricated criminal offense . No where to turn , no where to run , time to stand and fight …??? A high risk endevour for anyone with something to lose !

Uncola,

You put your piece together so very well! and it was a pleasure
to read by way of your style. No need for apprehension with this
article.

Trump gives us some hope and from that comes strength and
resolve. For those I thank him. I pray they don’t stage an
“accident” for him because we need his brash calling-out style.

Red pilling, or becoming “awake” is an arduous process. One thinks
one has an understanding of what has happened, who the bad actors
are, and so on. Not true…it just gets worse and worse as we begin
to see how deep it all goes, and how entrenched the evil is. And
also we become aware of endless collusion between the leading
factions.

I wish the Prez. could read your essay on national TV every evening
because it could bring low awareness red pilled to a higher level.
What we really want is for the cadre of crooks in every dimension
to be thoroughly outed, exposed, and taken out of the picture.
It is very dangerous to ignore/avoid the truth. Wanton murder and
theft plus endless liars supporting it…this is bad for our collective
souls.

Thanks for your work.

This piece is strongly related to one that I posted a while ago;

https://www.theburningplatform.com/2018/01/03/some-thoughts-on-a-basic-definition-of-evil/

My contention in that article was that a simple basic definition of evil is needed, but can not be expressed because nobody wants to admit that they do evil things. Their actions are not evil actions but other people perform evil actions against them. Kokoda explained that his definition of evil was very simple and that is exactly what I was trying to get to. My argument was that evil actions can come from each of us and while we don’t want to admit it, we all have the capacity to perform evil actions. But what does that mean? My conclusion is that an evil action is taking anything which is not given freely.

I find that ascribing evil to some external force – say the devil – is just a cope out. It is a way to pass off our own evil actions without taking ownership for the evil that we have done. It is far simpler to say “the devil made me do it” than to admit that we profited from some action which was intrinsically unfair. It is far easier to say that the fehrer told me to do it. It is far easier to say that the market demanded that I do it. It is far easier to say that the pope told me to do it. But in the end, it is the summation of all of the individual evil actions of the individual people who failed to take ownership of their own evil actions that leads to what appears to be a great evil like the Holocaust.

Was the Holocaust a great evil? Of course it was. But it was not, in the end, the result of the Nazi government of Germany. It was the result of a very large group of people who were happy to take things from other people without their consent. There was no fair trade. There was no fairness at all. And that, in my way of thinking, is how we come to evil and while I might not agree with some of you about the source of the evil, I can certainly not argue against Uncola’s contention that there are people who clearly have no concept of the evil that they do and no consideration of others. They do not feel pain from their evil actions. They feel pleasure.

With the 24 hour news cycle, one thing which is stolen from any debate is the time to gather facts and base discussion on a more complete picture. This is exactly what Big Brother wants and got. The usual suspects demanded immediate town hall meetings where long preplanned leftwing BS talking points and worn out demands were the central focus. NRA and other leftwing boogie men were the villains and leftwing nostrums were the only allowable topics of debate. Supposedly these peace lovers yelled for burning Dana Loesch who presented an opposing, constitutional point of view.
How would the listener react if the first rally for school safety were held this afternoon? Would the news not have to be that there were at least 39 contacts with the police? Some of which disqualified him from owning firearms? All of the reported threats and comments? The two ignored reports to the FBI which has something to do with background checks? A relative reporting within the last month he had guns and was up to no good? That the school guard hid and pissed himself instead of saving people? That this same guard had refused to disclose to investigators the subject of his contacts with the killer during an investigation two years ago?
Would they have pointed out that “when seconds count, the police are only minutes away?” A more complete gathering of facts beforehand cannot be permitted by the agendees and their Orwellian press.

Uncola,
Great essay, thank you.
I read several of M. Scott Peck’s books quite some time ago.
“People of the Lie” was a big help for me when I was trying to understand what was going on in the (fundamentalist) religion I was born into.
I hadn’t thought of that book in a few years, but surely it is prescient for the political time we find ourselves in.

As Scotty Peck says in the first line of “The Road Less Travelled”:
“Life is difficult”.
He goes on to explain that “life is difficult” is one of the great truths, and once we embrace that truth, life becomes less difficult, as we no longer are striving for an easier life, nor are we attempting to change things out of our control.
Perhaps that is where I find myself currently, expecting nothing good from TPTB, embracing the difficulties, and striving to be mentally and emotionally prepared for whatever comes our way.

And there, Uncola, admin, and all you other great essayists who contribute here, is where you fit in.
You are helping me be prepared, and for that I am grateful.

I didn’t read all of the comments before typing … so excuse me if I am repeating anything from above … but this piece ABSOLUTELY crystallizes the bullshit that is going on …

There really are SO MANY time-tested and universal truths laid-out in your essay that I don’t see how any clear-eyed realist who embraces dealing in TRUTH can dispute at all.

It was a bit of a slog growing up in this society, thinking that I had to ‘measure up’ to the construct that has been shoved down our throats, but eventually I came to the point where I finally realized that the truth (even when unfavorable) was not to be feared, but to be navigated with as much honor as could be mustered (hopefully).

BRILLIANT!!! THANK YOU!! (please excuse all of the CAPS)

Well written, but when you reference Dr. Peck, you also must acknowledge his reliance upon the works of Darby and his dispensational theology. Peck’s book “The Road Less Traveled” is prime example. Not firm ground to stand on.

In fact, it’s sinking sand.

The narcissists in modern Protestantism lap it up. It is too sweet a theology to resist.

A grade of A- on the writing but a mere D+ on the content. And I hope you know me well enough to know that my ‘review’ is given in the spirit of benign good fun.

When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

-Revelation 8:1

Yo Vodka – I once heard the foretold 30 minutes of silence in heaven was so all of the theologists would be able to correct their notes.

For this piece, I was using Peck’s assessment of evil as a construct to illustrate the Orwellian Trinity. That’s all that was.

Ironically, Peck also wrote this (below) in the “People of the Lie”. I thought it was a good warning:

Since the primary motive of the evil is disguise, one of the places evil people are most likely to be found is within the church. What better way to conceal one’s evil from oneself as well as from others than to be a deacon or some other highly visible form of Christian within our culture.

“30 minutes of silence”, so the prophets can get their notes revised, is Jewish-level humor! And likely close to the truth. Peace to you, my friend.

Evil in the churches? Say it isn’t so! (clutching pearls)

How about in NGOs? Did you see this on Zerohedge this morning? I wanted to get to this earlier but it’s been one of those days. I read this and it was the last straw for me. The pedophilia is so rampant that rampant isn’t even the right word. It’s a septic infection so strong there seems to be no antibiotic that will kill it.

Sometimes Psalms 37 and 73 help me get through things like this. Not today. Today I wanted to shake my fist at God with tears in my eyes wondering how are we to stop this sewer that is rising like a flood.

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-02-22/oxfams-aid-sex-scam-exposed

“Of course there are many people involved in international aid who are pure -enough- souls with the best intentions, but that’s simply not enough: sexual predation has infiltrated its ranks to such a degree, and management has refused to take the only appropriate steps against its perpetrators for so long, that sex abuse has become Oxfam’s middle name. And that very much includes child sex abuse…
Oxfam Told Of Aid Workers Raping Children In Haiti A Decade Ago…
…Another ‘interesting’ pattern to emerge is that the perpetrators, even if they are penalized, seemingly seamlessly float between aid organizations: get kicked out in one place, start afresh a few months later at the next…

And that was just for warming up. An interesting voice in the whole narrative is that of Australian professor Andrew MacLeod, who worked with the Red Cross in Bosnia and the UN Emergency Co-ordination Centre in Pakistan. From the Times:

UN Staff Responsible For 60,000 Rapes In A Decade

Andrew MacLeod, who was chief of operations at the UN’s Emergency Co-ordination Centre, said that “predatory” abusers used development jobs to get to vulnerable women and children. He estimated that 60,000 rapes had been carried out by UN staff in the past decade, with 3,300 paedophiles working in the organisation and its agencies. “There are tens of thousands of aid workers around the world with paedophile tendencies, but if you wear a Unicef T-shirt nobody will ask what you’re up to,” he told The Sun. “You have the impunity to do whatever you want. It is endemic across the aid industry across the world.”

There is so much opportunity for abuse and so little to stop it that jobs in international aid actively attract sexual predators who benefit from the artificial power the aid industry confers upon them. [..] Senior figures in the UN and some of our best known charities have known for decades that this problem was rampant. They should have put in place systems for training, prevention, protection and prosecution. By failing to do so they were committing an offence. They were party to child sex crime. They did nothing, and they should face charges. If they’re not worried – they should be…

That was only parts of a very long Article that implicates Doctors Without Borders, Save The Children, The Red Cross and who knows how many others not named here.

For all of you who don’t know what evil is let me explain.Evil is sin.Sin is any action ,word or thought that breaks God’s moral law .”Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness ,and sin is lawlessness ” 1John 3:4
“I find then a law ,that evil is present Within ( inside ) me ,the one who wills to do good ” Romans 7 :21.You Meatheads got that ? See the evil insides yourself ? Hollywood ?Now you know what Evil is do you see it ? Unwanted?

BB, your piddling little god wasn’t even threatened. If you insist that evil be related in some way to one of the many religions then you free the rest of the many religions from your fabrication of sin. I was hoping for a definition which was more fundamental than some nubile young religion like Christianity. There are, after all, many much older religions and their sins were described first and have just as righteous a claim on their sins defining evil.

And you still try to foist your definition of evil onto your image of a god and try to assign your evil to your gods list of sins. How can you come to this conclusion when your bible is not claimed to be the word of god, as the koran is, but is rather the inspired word of your god as written by man?

On my blog somebody commented that my reference to providence in the piece was “code for christos”. I replied thusly:

“Regarding “Providence”, I meant it to be construed as “wise benevolence” beyond the realm of man. Whether it is viewed in relation to the dispensation of law, or rights, or any other way, humility is necessary for the proper perspective to keep people right sized, and in right relations with others. In no way would I, under any circumstance, favor a theocratic state….

That lends itself to a whole new level of Orwellian…”

Great essay, especially the concept of the “Orwellian Trinity”.

I read 1984 & Animal Farm when I was 14, and I’ve been a freedom-loving, authority-skeptic, rebellious little shit ever since. Which is why I suspect those books and others like them are no longer encouraged or required reading in public schools.

Thanks for the well-written work.

It is always the same thing with evil. It builds up to a peak and then it implodes. Why? because it is nothing built up with sand. There is no value in evil.

The great religions of the world have watched this spectacle for hundreds and even thousands of years. Look at how long the Catholic Church has been around. It has not imploded. This is because it is built on values. Values are eternal. Evil is in time and has it’s life in time. In other words it has a beginning and an end. Values which are eternal have no beginning and no end.

Yes man is full of sin. It is called missing the mark. Man is an incomplete creation. It may take another 100,000 years before man can perfect himself. I am sure GOD has more than that much patience to see it through. Recall in the Lords Prayer, “GOD’s will be done on earth as in heaven?” Christ was reminding us that his love is that great that when he created us he know it would take time to perfect our species.

In regard to what is happening in our country I am confident that we will get through this. I have observed that there are enough good people in our society that will step up and help us all through this darkness. This is a spiritual battle. Things are going to get much worse before it gets better. But it will get better.

The author of the article is very insightful. But remember we who see must not get caught up in the negative. View it but don’t get attached. Our attention is a power in the field of consciousness. Use that power in the affirmation of positive outcomes. In the east the people view our situation in the Ying and the Yang. It is a cyclic phenomena in our world. We happen to be going through the negative aspect of that law.

The majority of our population is sleeping. It is them that will be most affected by this. There is nothing we can do for them at this time. The play must go on to it’s final scene. Those that are awake will get to see and perhaps understand the spiritual meaning of the final scene.

Maggie, Maggie, Maggie,

You would post this.

I watched Animal Farm as a boy with my Father. He was a descendant of the PA – Schuylkill County Molly Maguires. “Molly Maguires” was still a whispered word by the elders on my Irish side in the 50’s…as if robber baron retribution and their army of paid goons could still smash down their fed up doors in the middle of the night…like they did to their grandparents.

16 Tons by Tennessee Ernie Ford wasn’t a song in my family…it was their lives.

As a boy/young man coal miner, WW2 Sailor, FDR/Union born and bred Coal miner/Factory worker with a blistered black lung under his frayed blue collar…my Father recognized the Commies for what they really were…and all the bullshit they peddled…he was a proud working man who drew his line in the sand with the Constitution…gave the Reds the finger on May Day…and taught me to stand tall behind the Founding Fathers.

He explained Communism to me while we were watching Animal Farm together…so a boy could understand it…and I never forgot it.

He despised the peanut farmer and the lies of the Left…to his credit he became a Reagan Democrat long before the label was born.

Thanks for the history lesson on the Molly Maguires, I never heard about the coal strikes in TX history classes. I’m descendent from the Lancaster PA Germans 1740’s. They arrived early and own property covered in iron ore.

Sodbuster,

You bet. There was a lot violence on both sides.

I had a grandfather and an uncle trapped in the same cave in…in the 30’s but scrambled out together and survived.

After WW2 when oil became king many of the mines closed and most of my family migrated to the factories in NJ.

Before this piece goes away, I wanted to thank everyone who commented on this thread; and for all of the kind words, insights, and perspectives.

As an update – regarding viewership on my own blog – this piece is on track to surpass my current (ongoing) most popular article from 10 months ago, “Prisons of Pleasure or Pain” (another article on Orwell) in a matter of days.

A gal from the Daily Sheeple & SHTFplan.com reached out to me for permission to publish the piece and, as a result, many other sites picked it up over the weekend with more pingbacks today.

Also – since Friday, my blog’s e-mail distribution has increased 35% and a program director for a radio network asked to interview me. I declined the interview for personal reasons, which included:

1.) I’ve always been a behind-the-scenes type of dude; lurking in the shadows.

2.) Although I strive to write like a professor, I actually talk like a blue collar guy in a bad mood.

3.) Staying grey.

…and few other reasons as well.

In closing, The Daily Sheeple gal said she first saw the article here on TBP. So, once again, thank you Admin.
