I’ve seen that chart for a while now so I’ve had a little time to think about it.
What it DOESN’T show is how many states it includes in the United States.
It could be that they are anticipating a breakup of the US much like the USSR. Remember my article about ‘The Changing of the Guard’ where I suggested that it is now Russia’s turn and that the US is being phased out by the globalists, or whatever you want to call them.
Perhaps the chart reflects what’s left of the US after most of the states have broken up into smaller countries.

Essentially exactly what you said goes for me–except one plus I have is I’m about 2 decades younger and one BIG minus, I am stocked, provisioned and have handtools, metals, some livestock, berries, fruit trees etc BUT I live only 50 miles outside of the Northeast cities corridor.
It is for my wife, daughters and granddaughter I worry about– I am 100% sure of my place in the next life but worry about them should I pass in the “event”.
I can only hope it is a nuke event and a quick end for all of us. Civil war or without power and roving marauders raping and murdering— this is too horrible to comprehend for my loved ones.

I have two small cities close, one south and one west of me that the Golden Horde threat would send out waves from for a period of time…until they were all killed off or gone…worst case.
Besides some well armed neighbors (all of whom I have walki talkies and batteries for and they don’t even know it) and a few other like minded friends close and prepped to some degree, I also belong to a small church (75 members). Rural people with gardens and chickens and goats and rabbits and fruit trees like me…who could/would band together. I have a significant stash of barter goods as well.
The only way to have any hope of fending off “roving marauders” is to prepare for it…multiple fighters with arms, mags, ammo, gear, walki talkies, bobby traps ready to deploy, preset fighting/ambush positions, gilly suits, body armor, “night fighting capability…. lots of caffeine pills.”
It was overwhelming years ago…almost all done now.
My wife is not a gun person but she shoots a .38 and a 20 gauge well. Going to snap her in on the Kel Tec 2000 next.

Prepare for the worst and you won’t be surprised. I don’t know anything about Deagle or Deagel. But the 4th Turning seems pretty legit so will go with that. Our world and especially the USA is currently and extremely complex system. Most people rely on key survival items, food, water, fuel etc. coming in from far away and highly dependent on a coordinated and intact supply chain. Avg salad travels 1100 miles. In the great depression 90% of Americans were still attached to the land, growing food, and having significant knowledge of how to survive in their particular area. Today that is pretty much flipped over with 90% of Americans living in urban/suburban environments and having near 100% dependency on the above complex systems for survival. All the prior knowledge of farming, hunting, homesteading is dying or long gone. Several years ago I had an opportunity to “take the money and run”…..so I left the NYC area and moved to a ranchette in Montana. Best thing I have ever done. If you are a prepper, I think it is reasonable to plan on surviving the normal emergencies……Hurricanes, EarthQuakes, Wild Fires, Floods, Tornadoes, Blizzards, Ice Storms and localized civil unrest. Typically power is out 2-10 days and because the event is localized the rest of the country is coming to help with sirens blazing. Now, Deagle et al are talking about SHTF……not localized but systemic collapse. EMP, Nuke, Pandemic, YellowStone, Massive Meteor……basically there is no ability to generate a sustained scaled rescue response….everybody is in an emergency situation. Prepping won’t help you with this. You have to move to remote area, begin homesteading and learn all the skills our ancestors had. Hardscrabble etc. It is not easy and the opportunity costs are typically high. Few if any well paying jobs, hard constant physical labor, no more vacations, old vehicles and questionable education if you have school age kids. Try convincing your spouse that you want to chuck it all and move to the American Redoubt or the backwoods of NC, Ozarks. Even having successfully making such a relocation……you can’t do it alone. Just look at Hostiles…..the solo homesteaders were incredibly vulnerable to the rampaging Comanches. Same will happen at your remote location unless you have a coordinated community for self defense, mutual assistance in barn raising, calving, plowing and harvesting. Sorry…..humans have lived in tribes for eons for good reason! So think very carefully……why do you want to survive? Do you really want to? OK, great now can you do the work hard work to at least have a shot at surviving a long tail risk? Most folks really don’t. They are fat, seldom leave the couch and while they have a few guns and some storable food……all of which is great for a short term emergency it is simply irrelevant for true SHTF. 4th Turning…..yes it will be an existential crisis and fight for the soul of the USA….but remember most people didn’t die or even fight in the Revolution, Civil War or WWII…..so the even lower odds risk of EMP/Meteor/Pandemic are probably not worth thinking about. If you want to Homestead I recommend its because of the personal journey/quality of life first. For me I could no longer stand to live in the gun grabbing commie rat bastard North East USA. There is actually very little that could kill off that many people in such a short amount of time. There has never in history been a plague that could do it. Even nuclear war wouldnt do it, unless it was all out total war with every single nuke being fired, which really isnt a realistic scenario. We’re talking about an asteroid strike. Hell even yellowstone blowing wouldnt kill that many people.

I don’t think he advises anyone who hasn’t wallpapered their bedroom in tinfoil, but who knows what the FedGov is spending their money on these days. Maybe they pay him just to stir the pot and keep the peeps jittery.
We had two litters of piglets today, worked on a maple counter top, took the dog to the vet get get a muzzle full of porcupine quills extracted, and filled in all the open hours between just watching my family go about their business. Ate a couple of really good meals, too. That’s kind of all we can do anyway.

1 -What if the definition of “USA” is a lot different in 2025 than it is today? I think it is unlikely that 280 million “Americans” will die, and more likely that 280 million people will live in places no longer identifying as the “USA”.
I put no more than 3 or 3.5 on either, and even then it would take an unforeseen cataclysm (meteor/asteroid, supervolcano, solar EMP, really crazy war, etc) for that many people to die or to split the country that quickly.
