Kudlow is a blithering idiot CNBC shill. Trump’s assessment of intelligence and integrity in his chief advisors leaves much to be desired.
“There is no recession. There’s no recession coming. The pessimistas were wrong. It’s not going to happen. The Bush boom is alive and well.”
Larry Kudlow, who is set to be named president Trump’s top economic adviser, in Dec 2007 … exactly when the recession started.

Trump is really setting himself up to look like the biglyest baffoon in all of history.
Results are what will determine that.
So far they’ve done the opposite, Trump has an impressive track record so far in comparison with any other President if you bother to look at it instead of invent one that supports some anti Trump viewpoint or agenda.
If he believes anything this clown says I agree. He is a turd that never stops stinking.
Unless he’s setting Kudlow up.
Weirder things have happened thus far.
I’d hire him just so I could do the exact opposite of whatever he suggests.
That’s what he did with Cohn. Put a Wall Street shill in place just for appearances.
I think Jim’s assessment is dead on. Wasn’t Kudlow a Bear Stearns guy? I think he’s harmless in a Trump Administration, though. Trump just took a kool-aid drinking free trader off the air both cable and radio, but I doubt he’ll be making much policy. Hate them or not, Tillerson and Cohn were giants. They were basically peers to Trump, as opposed to lackeys. He already has the heavy lifters in place for the next phase. So Kudlow is just window dressing

kudlow is a tool of the GOP establishment . What the hell is he thinking?
Maybe to discredit talking heads? People like Larry are on TV in millions of homes every day.
The past month has produced several head scratchers. I find myself saying “what is he thinking” based upon the names and history of those names.
I have been here before, and his actions and accomplishments (at least surface level) have assuaged my angst.
So I find myself cautiously waiting for actions and results, especially on the 2nd, and additionally on Kudlow and Pompeo.
Time will tell, and I am ready for the possibility that Trump is nothing more than well executed Deep State Controlled Opposition. I suspect he has a worldview that aligns fairly close to my own and will continue to give him the benefit of doubt.
What other choice is there? The Visigoths (Marxist) are circling around the walls, he is one of the few to publicly stand against them.
Why doesn’t he throw out the Goldman Sachs puppets and demand real SEC oversight. Why is he always secretly discrediting the banksters while said banksters are still running roughshod over us peons? Will you blame Trump when the stock market goes to 6000? Is that a secret plan by Trump also to level the Deep State? Seriously get a clue, this is getting very old.
What excuse will you have after two years, three years?

Larry you let your hair grow and tinted it a fake blonde!! OMG
Gotta love the Lisa Kudrow meme!
I keep wondering if we are not living in the Twilight Zone or something comparable. After learning of the “news” of recent appointments and projected appointments, it seemed utterly hopeless. The appointments are so unbelieveably bad, it/they are not even worthy of analysis:
Kudlow, seriously??? (sell gold, buy dollars, ignore prospect of bankruptcy w/$21 trillion debt)
Pompeo, bloody gena (torture princess), gad, what have we become?
projected bolton, bombs away, yeh, iraq was a good idea and successful; who can possibly believe that??
I could go on and on but it would just be equally depressing. I have no idea who is pushing these bizarre appts-trump, pence, nentinyahoo, deep state??? It does not matter because the us and uk have ceased being responsible players in the world.
Larry Kudlow was just another perma-bull fluffer on CNBC touting the market to the slobs. He will have the same job at NEC.
BTW, King Dollar my ass. None of these assholes want or support a strong dollar.
Tara 77, maybe we just have to admit that Trump has shown lousy judgement in picking people who work in the admin. He’s a real estate guy who not especially knowledgeable in many matters like economics or the evils of the Fed Reserve. So far, he doesn’t see that the Fed govt needs to be cut down in size in order to save the union. He might get there however. He’s not a politician and a DC outsider, so he has a lot to learn. But his gut instincts are correct and he’s adjusting quickly. But he’s picking alot of wrong people and it’s continuing. So, I guess we can expect the revolving door to continue. Despite all that, I’ve learned to trust Trump!
Thanks, Doug.
Kudlow incompetence aside, my biggest concern is evident mass staffing by neo cons: maybe, just maybe, responsible adults will keep them in check but the adage of “there is never just one cockroach” does not apply to the neo cons; usually there is many, many more than just one.
