It Truly is a Complicated World that We Live In

Guest Post by Robert Bronsdon (Hollywood Rob)

You just never know how the things that swirl around us constantly are going to work out.  Any claim to the contrary is almost surely coming from someone who wants to sell you something.  Every day a million people drive in pretty close to a million cars to jobs where they sit at a desk, and go to meetings, where they are encouraged to come up with methods to obfuscate the truth about what is being done to you.

It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. So each time you visit the site, I would ask that you consider the value that you receive and have received from The Burning Platform and the community of which you are a vital part. I can't do it all alone, and I need your help and support to keep it alive. Please consider contributing an amount commensurate to the value that you receive from this site and community, or even by becoming a sustaining supporter through periodic contributions. You can blame it on Béarnaise, or perhaps you can blame it on his Uncle Freud, but in the end, you are going to have to contend with it.  It started with women smoking cigarettes and it simply never stopped getting better because of the millions of people who sit in those chairs and go to those meetings.  It has led to Facebook and Google and Twitter.  It has led to the Washington Post and the New York Times.  You can believe whatever you want but you first have to realize that virtually everything that you see is manufactured in large Steel and Glass sky scrapers for your consumption.  It only exists so you can be convinced that your world view is the correct one… Is it?

I don’t know, but every now and then a bit of clarity is expressed.  Clearly that can never come from the Steel and Glass towers.  It must come from a person with a desire to explain the world view that they hold, and why they hold it.  Eighty years ago you only had newspapers and books so you got Orwell.  Today you have google and youtube so you get…

And since the same people who drive to the same jobs in the same glass towers are working on ensuring that the only information available to you is the information that makes them more money, you get this…

https://www.bitchute.com/video/SmQ9kAZBeWMt/

You get Alex Jones.  You get Sargon of Akkad.  You get the Rubin Report.  But you have to realize that as I type, and you read, those shinny young faces in those glass towers with their cars parked in a private garage are slowly, because they are very dim witted, trying to come up with a way to stop you from finding the truth.  They do it because they get paid to do it.  They get paid to do it because somebody wants people to buy cigarettes, or Fords, or horribly ugly dresses that never should have been made in China but here they are and somebody has to cover the cost of production.

Fat Women are sexy too.  Why?  Because the people in the glass towers need to convince fat women to buy all of those huge dresses that they had made in China by tiny thin women who could no more understand what type of water buffalo would wear such a hideous thing than they could afford to buy one themselves.  Donald Trump is a womanizer.  Why?  Because they couldn’t ensure that he would steal the world’s resources the way that Hillary would most surely have done.  He might not go along with the scam.  Of course, it looks like he most surely will go along with the scam but once you engage the shinny young people in the glass towers there is no going back.  If you back off from the narrative you expose the lie.

So what is it that you can do?  Well, you could run around the world making youtube videos like Lauren Southern, or Brittany Pettibone, or Tim Pool.  You could sit at home and make youtube videos like Dave Rubin or Pat Condell.  Or you could write little essays for a blog that few will view and even fewer will remember.  What you pick is really not as important as doing the actual picking.  Jordan Peterson has stated that you really won’t know what impact you might have on the world until you stand up, set your shoulders straight, and do something.  What if the only thing that you can do is to change the mind of one person?  Well great.  Get up and go change the mind of that person.

I personally find that to be quite difficult for several reasons, not the least of which is that I don’t have that many friends who think differently from the way that I do.  But there are a couple and I pledge to make the effort.  Do you?  Can you stand to stand against the wind of liberal privilege?  Are you willing to hone your arguments or would you prefer to cleave to your old opinions hoping that your opinion will sway the argument?  I don’t know how I will make out because I may not be smart enough to hold all of my arguments in my poor old mind but that doesn’t mean that I can’t try.

I’ll let you know how it works out.

I’m picking up what you are laying down, Rob. Truly. I am thinking about this now and will address some of your contentions over on my “questions” thread.

In the meantime, I appreciate this post and admire the angry white man in the video very much. It’s not enough to have raging tears in one’s eyes, but to have them, and know why; and have the balls and communication skills to pass the proverbial baton. Kudos to you, in that respect.

I see what you did there with “Béarnaise” and women smoking cigarettes, but I suspect many might miss that connection; and it’s lessons regarding advertising, freedom, choice, and consequences.

I tend to think the people in steel towers and offices around the world are too busy to see in many cases; and perhaps apathetic in others.

I’ve been saying this a lot lately, but, people should be identified by their actions. Furthermore, every little bit counts. Writing is doing something and never underestimate the power of ideas, the butterfly effect or ripples in the pond.

This piece was posted 11 months ago on TBP. It continues to travel the world:

Prisons of Pleasure or Pain: Huxley’s “Brave New World” vs. Orwell’s “1984”

In fact, just this morning, it was, again, translated and posted in another language:

Prisiones de placer o dolor: “Un mundo feliz” de Huxley contra “1984” de Orwell

Don’t sell yourself short. Keep writing. Keep the faith. Do your best and let the chips fall where they may. I will too.

Thanks Uncola. But I still want to go out and change at least one mind face to face. I kinda expect that doing that will be monumentally rewarding. You would have to come away from that experience with a great swelling of pride. Even if it is only one person that you have changed.

I agree…little ripples are very important.

I simply keep a keen eye out for opportunities to engage in meaningful discussions, whenever the opportunities arise. I’m quite dismayed at how infrequent those opportunities show themselves. People are exceptionally shallow and wilfully ignorant, as a rule. Sadly, I find that broaching any subject that challenges an individuals cherished biases can quickly devolve intellectually, if I let it. I rarely let things devolve too far, but occasionally I can’t help but be the “asshole”. LOL.

I gave up on trying to convince the liberals I know of anything. I tried face to face. I tried posts on FB that had links upon links to proof that they were wrong. I tried tough love and I tried gentle cajoling. I tried straight in your face and I tried clever allegories. All I did was piss them all off. At least I don’t have to suffer through looking at their bullshit liberal cutesy memes anymore because they’ve all blocked or unfriended me. Good riddance.

Or a missed opportunity. You decide.

I have never been a part of ZuckBook, except for being quoted there and having a photo snapped surreptitiously appear a time or two. One thing I have noted however, is FBook is a place where one can lose ALL his ‘friends’ and realize that he has lost nothing.

Several years ago after giving FB a try I was ready to give up on it. But several family members and close friends use it as a way to keep connected and I’m a member of some groups that use FB for communications as well. So at that point I cut down my friend list to the bare minimum to be able to keep connected. The list has only gotten smaller since then.

I dont have the talent, or sitting typing type perseverance. But i am glad some do, such as admin. I have read this site since its inception. 7 blogs i read have ceased to exist as the writers died. Shamefully i cant remember their names. Cancers, heart attacks, suicides. Many of you read them i am sure. If it wasnt for the small handfull that remain, i would only shop, check the weather, and little else online. I would know no truths. Funny really. I never used the internet until i bought a helmet cam. I looked for a helmet cam on youtube. Found 911 truth. And a whole lot more that has been seriously upsetting. It was 2007. About the time this blog came online. Red pilled. Truly complicated fucked up world we inhabit. Could be quite nice if there wasnt a group of uber controlling greedy power mad nannys runnin the show.

Greetings,
Living out here on the Left Coast in Tourist Town has taught me a few things about butting heads with wildly out-of-their-minds liberals. I’ve learned that facts just do not work so I go after them with scorn and contempt. They fear nothing more than being marginalized as they have a hive mind and anything that might separate them from the hive terrifies them.

See, liberals are mostly communists and the communist hides within the collective while using the power of the collective to steal whatever resources the liberal desires or at least that is how they want it to work out. Anyway, I like to remind them that their viewpoint would probably result in an ass whuppin’ just about anywhere else but the liberal coast but that I can say what I wish as liberals are worthless cowards.

I’m done dealing with it in any other way.

This is about the more obstinate, blinded people, not the generally go along to get along, non-committal types, who will listen, even if its with amusement at your ‘radical’ mindset.
I agree with the 0ne-on-one concept. Have to separate ’em from the herd, or you’ll just get run over. Or they’ll panic with the flock in the opposite direction.
Having said that, if you don’t have even some small bit of a relationship with that person, you might as well save your breath and effort. You need to first of all figure out why you are even doing this in the first place. It’s generally sub-conscious, but most people can smell the bullshit from the first word. They may not have a cognitive awareness, but they know.
So, if you’re trying to satisfy your own agenda, even if it’s technically not a selfish agenda, you probably will have very little success. If you’re doing it because you truly want what’s best for that person, that will come through, even if they don’t take the red pill. Sometimes it takes years.
Sometimes you just have to move on. Respect their decision and let them take the consequences.
I used to teach/train cost/benefit analysis, foundational cognitive awareness, disconnect dynamics…and so on.
Make it about them, and be sincere, or do something else to fill your time.

Willful stupidity is unassailable. Can any of name the names of the ones in those glass high rise buildings who continue to spew this propaganda? I don’t mean the mouth pieces but who is the master?Does it really just come back to a small middle eastern exclusive and very militaristic country?

ts, i agree completely: make it about them.
i like to ask people questions. asking about the nature of truth is a good starter, whether or not they believe truth is subjective. i believe approx 98 out of 100 think it is. most all are not sure why.
the harvest is ripe. we need more pickers…

Gosh BB, I just can’t imagine how such a thoughtful person such as yourself could possibly have any trouble convincing anybody about anything. Your interpersonal skills and your obvious deep knowledge base should surely convince anyone you meet that whatever it is that you say is most surely from god’s own mouth to their ears. How could it possibly be that you find that calling people meatheads tends to be off putting? You of all people should be the very epicenter of liberal red pilling. I will have to rethink my entire approach.
