Drudge, Coulter Trash Trump Over “Fake Veto” As Base Rages

Trump just lost a huge chunk of his base by signing this budget busting, Democrat loving, abortion of a spending bill. Kiss the mid-terms goodbye. The Dems will regain the House and his Potemkin Wall will be dead. Sorry oh great Orange savior, banning transgenders from the military will not make us forget what you just did.

Only the most naive brain dead Trumpeteers will continue to believe this is part of your master 16D chess plan to save America. I judge people based on their actions, not their words. You’re just another bloviating politician who promises one thing and delivers a pile of shit to the American people. You’re finished.

Matt Drudge and Ann Coulter took to Twitter on Friday after President Trump “begrudgingly” signed the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending package – after threatening to veto it hours earlier over the “800,000 DACA recipients” which Trump said were “totally abandoned by the Democrats,” and the lack of funding for the “BORDER WALL.”

Trump spent around 30 minutes on Friday doing his best to convince his base that, gosh dangit, he was “forced” to sign the bill in order to fully fund the military.

In response to Trump bemoaning the legislation, claiming “I will never sign a bill like this again,” pundit and author Ann Coulter – a harsh critic of Trump whenever he strays from campaign promises, tweeted “Yeah, because you’ll be impeached.”

Coulter then tweeted “CONGRATULATIONS, PRESIDENT SCHUMER!”

Of note, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) declared the spending bill rushed through by Republicans a “victory.”

“The distinguished leader has clearly put forth many of the priorities that we’re very proud of in a bill that’s one yard high,” said Pelosi of House Speaker Paul Ryan at a joint press conference on Thursday.

“It’s one yard high,” Pelosi exclaimed – referring to the literal height of the legislation. “About half of it is the bill, a quarter of it is earmarks, and another quarter are report language.”

Matt Drudge, meanwhile, loved his site The Drudge Report‘s headline “Fake Veto” so much that he tweeted out a screenshot! “Fake Veto,” of course, is a mockery of Trump’s co-opted catch phrase “Fake News” following Trump’s earlier tweet pretending to be on the fence.

Other reactions around the twittersphere have echoed feelings of defeat:

Translation; Trump got steamrolled and the base is furious.

Meanwhile, here are the 25 House Republicans who opposed the bill:

A couple of comments on Republicans in regards to the wall/immigration, and Second Amendment issues.

Reagan gave amnesty to a couple of million illegals around ’86. Daddy Bush gave amnesty to a couple million more in the early 90’s. Bushy boy gave us tons of lip service on the subject, but no wall. Trump . . . well, the latest omnibus bill tells the rest of the story. Reasons behind these decisions could include cheap labor, demographics, or political survival. The reason doesn’t really matter as the results are the same . . . we get screwed.

Trump tells Sessions to have BATF rewrite machinegun regulations. No debate, no signatures = no Republican blame. Effect of new regulations will likely take effect just after midterms. Coincidence? Nah.

Call me a quitter if you wish. I’ve supported and donated to Republicans for forty years. I’m done. Piss on Trump, piss on Sessions, and piss on the Republican party.

I’m going to break this one down:

“Have you lost your mind?”

No.

“He’s a tweet machine.”

I can’t criticize. I’ve been on Twatter since January and I’m up over 1000 tweets already. It’s fun trolling Liberal Canadian politicians. It’s like a new hobby for me.

“He will never get a line item veto.”

Others have tried and failed. I don’t think he’ll get it either. I also doubt he’ll sign another bill LIKE THIS. You always have to read between the lines with Trump.

“He could have vetoed that bill and caused no harm.”

Yep. On the other hand, he’s not a libertarian and it’s not a libertarian world. In fact its far from it. How the world is and how it ought to be are pretty different things these days. Right now I’d settle for a world with less corruption. Besides – imagine if this guy was your leader:

Suddenly Trump doesn’t seem so bad.

“The military spending bullshit is a red herring. The military has far too much funding.”

I’d normally agree with this. But these are not normal times either. I can’t argue this point with you at this stage because all I can do is trust my intuition which says there is a purpose, a short term one, behind it which involves not only strengthening the military for some reason, but keeping the MIC at bay as well. We’ll see I guess.

“Did you eat some bad canadian bacon?”

🙂 I’ve been eating Maggie’s special brownies. I’m buying another batch and sending you some. Eat them. It’ll be good for your high Irish blood pressure.

If you believe that we have been and are being invaded (as I do), the following might help support the President’s use of the military to build the wall (or mine the border). I think we all realize that Mexico has encouraged the invasion, and the invasion/rebellion has included armed “militia-type” groups such as MS13, various cartels, etc., which have killed or otherwise severely damaged our citizens either directly or through the introduction of harmful drugs and/or the related corruption of our various government officials. Fast & Furious, etc., etc., etc.

“It is well accepted that the conduct of war is an “executive Power,” vested by Article II in the President, who also serves as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. Both at the time of the Framing of the Constitution and afterward, there has been agreement that the President has the power to repel invasions. Intimately familiar with the treatises on international law, the Framers were undoubtedly aware of the general rule that, as Hugo Grotius had put it, “By the law of nature, no declaration is required when one is repelling an invasion.” The Law of War and Peace (1646). The debate, instead, has centered on the location of the power to initiate war.

Advocates of congressional power contend that the President cannot initiate hostilities because the Constitution expressly vests the power to “declare War” in Congress. In support of that view, they note that, according to his notes from the Constitutional Convention, James Madison successfully advocated that Congress be given the power, not to “make” war but to “declare” war, to “leav[e] to the Executive the power to repel sudden attacks.” In 1862, the Supreme Court opined that the President “has no power to initiate or declare a war,” but if there were an invasion, “the President is not only authorized but bound to resist force by force…without waiting for any special legislative authority.” Prize Cases (1863).”

Build WALL through M!
If M is military, and military is the Army Corps of Engineers, that is it’s own problem.
Lucky to get through the permitting process, will take umpteen years and blow the budget by trillions!
Think levees/Katrina. And certainly won’t keep the Meskins out.
Nice thought though……

I think this is worth repeating and expanding:

The only way Trump is going to redeem himself (and I hope he does) is some serious counter-punching (((actions not words or tweets))) that build on their results that convinces those who have lost or are losing faith in him as the Great Orange MAGA Hope!

Most of us are too jaded with betrayal and distrusting to settle for anything else.

That serious convincing interconnected action has to be soon…well before the midterms to get the Deplorable base re-energized and shore up another wall – the wall of support and hope Trump needs for the blue wave to crash against and then recede without overwhelming and washing him away.

Trump knows this. So if the Brandon Smith, Bill Bonner school of thought on Trump is right we will know for sure very soon. As well with the X-22 – Q – Dave Janda and various supporters school of thought.

Here is one of support and hope from Janda:

Dave Janda – Restoration of Rule of Law Will Blow Globalist System Apart
Published on Mar 24, 2018

There is a new report by the Inspector General on the DOJ. It is 1.2 million pages (this is not a typo). Congress has copies, and it outlines and proves fraud and criminal activity at the FBI and Department of Justice. It will likely be the foundation that sends many in high office in both departments to jail for their crimes. Radio host Dave Janda says, “You have to understand what the Inspector General’s report is all about. The Inspector General’s report is about the restoration of the rule of law in our country that has been missing for decades. This is why they are so petrified of that report. All these players–low, middle and high–took over the system to the point where the rules of justice could be directed toward their opponents and be blinded to their criminal activity. What scares the living daylights out of this syndicate is the restoration of the rule of law. . . . When there is a full restoration of the rule of law, I believe this is what blows this system apart–this globalist syndicate system.”

Janda also says, “Right now, the good guys are 70% to 80% in control.”

Join Greg Hunter as he talks to Dr. Dave Janda in depth from the Operation Freedom radio show.

“…The play is written and now it is time for the actors to perform…”

The fourth turning = The Changing of the Guard.

I feel like I’m watching a bad play or even worse an opera. They always have unhappy endings.

Perhaps more like a passenger on the Titanic with full knowledge of the events that are about to happen and powerless to stop them. As much as it’s kind of an honor to be a part of something so historic, all-in-all I’d rather be someplace else…

The best I can do is try to keep my already rattled nerves from frying.

If Ann Coulter could sing, I imagine this is what her message to ‘The Donald’ would sound like.

Very appropriate and hauntingly pretty…

It’s soothing too. Just what I needed.

Give it a listen.

Line item veto is actually a terrible idea in our system but let’s table that for the moment. For all the Q cargo cultists and Always Trumpers, I am looking for a scintilla of support for the execution of America when Trump signed the Omnibus……I don’t want to hear about 4D Chess and great plans coming to fruition (very Nostradamus) I want to hear the best explanation (with some facts please) on why Trump did what he did……I think it comes down to the Military expenditure…..so what did we get for giving up on $6ooB of Dem priorities and spending $700B we don’t have ($1T deficit) on what exactly? The MIC? Geez isn’t that how we got into this pickle in the first place. How exactly has our security been increased? Against what threat and from who? Sounds like we are buying lots of $5 hammers priced at $1000 paid for with borrowed money we can never repay. The only beneficiaries are the folks selling the exponentially overpriced hammers….and didn’t Cheetos Jesus rail about that in the campaign…..I think he did. So come on you Trumpists explain how it is, that Trump bailed on us, the fight against the deep state and the march of authoritarianism by capitulating.

Martel’s Hammer, are you thinking that a budget of even half what Trump signed would have made a difference somehow? I mean that is kinda funny isn’t it?

Take that hammer and use it pry off the crust that’s covered your brain.

Look, the debt is beyond anything in the history of mankind. And it is growing because if it stopped growing our little country would devolve into a literal man-eat-man world. The answer to our prayers does not lie in the budget, or current spending, nor in ending the Fed, nor crushing the Jews, nor over-priced hammers (what is this thing you have for hammers?).

Then what is it all about, you might ask after using your hammer on the crust? Hmm, could it be something to do with the Deep State? Review your history. Up until TPTB by an error in judgement released the Internet that in short order revealed the underbelly of the creature feeding on us all for centuries, we were mostly content with the scraps given us. Nevermore, quoth the raven.

No, now we have the knowledge and we have the golden-feathered raven to assist in cutting off the head of the creature. Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country. That bold S.O.B. in the White House needs us or he will fail. He ain’t no saint, he ain’t indestructible. He needs you and me and the rest of us here to back him up, to yell and shout, to stop this undermining of him. Shit. Just have a little confidence that things just might get done, and surely won’t if we all go yammering wildly insanely into the night about a fucking budget bill.

OK, Sasquatch (one of my favorite hobbies) why do you still support Trump. Relationships end….and you got ridden hard and put up wet. Trump then wait till you were asleep pulled his pants on and tucked in his tiny manhood and left in the middle of the night. None of abandoned Trump….he left us and all your whining is not going to make him love you again! So we stand up and get on with the hard fight of taking our country back, unfortunately Trump much like the feckless Lords in Braveheart will be standing on the other side of the field! Probably not his preference but “they” got to him some how……live in reality not a cargo cult fantasy…….that Trump plane left and ain’t coming back.

I voted for Trump, he claimed he was pro Second Amendment, he campaigned on Conceald Carry reciprocity and the hearing protection act, instead he has given us more regulation, and said the police should seize weapons first then perhaps do due process later, and finally in the Omnibus he gives millions of military aid to Communist Vietnam that is what finally did it for me, I filed the form with the clerk’s office to be taken off the voter roles, what is the point. Sure I know that if and when the Dems take over, with the likes President Manchell Obama, Speaker Pelosi and Senate leader Schumer in charge, they will go balls to the wall attacking the Bill of rights, with DHS secretary Hillary Clinton putting all the deplorables in her FEMA Fun camps, and sure it will end up being Civil War part Deux, but after seeing those blue state snowflake millennials, the very cadre that would be fighting for the Federals at the march demanding the government take away their civil rights, I am pretty sure the Democrats would be 0-2 after wards.

We throw around words without truly understanding the gravity of them. For instance, adding a measly trillion dollars to the U.S. debt, which is backed by nothing other than faith in the u.s. dollar and each U.S. citizen’s labor!

This trillion dollars is a stop gap budget deal ….

Do you know how long it would take yourself to count to a trillion, a 1 with 12 zeroes after it!

how long would it take to count to a trillion

×

31,709.79 years
There are 24 hours in a day so you would count 24X60x60 = $8,6400 in one day. There are 365 days in a year so you would count 24X60x60x365 = $31,536,000 in one year. To find how long it would take to count to a trillion dollars divide 1 trillion by 31,536,000. That is 1,000,000,000,000/31,536,000 = 31,709.79 years.

Meet the NEW BOSS, Same as the OLD BOSS! NOTHING HAS CHANGED! LET THE FLEECING OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE and the REST OF THE WORLD CONTINUE!
