I say arm all the students. Problem solved.
We concern ourselves with the overt violence of shootings and other assaults that happen in schools, but conveniently ignored is the violence inherent in a system of education that requires ALL MONIES for operation to first be STOLEN from ALL property owners in the area at the point of a gun or the threat of imprisonment or property confiscation.
A system predicated on violence and immorality most certainly is NEVER going to be without violence of every other kind.
I am truly sorry as I must have missed the right turn that took me into a parallel universe where John Stossel actually would have any facts to tell, or the inclination to tell them. As I am obviously greatly confused, can someone tell me which side Mr Stossel is on in this universe?
That seemed to cover the issue fairly well in two minutes. Are you looking for information or confirmation of our opinion? Most complain that the press is choosing sides, now you are complaining because you can’t tell which side he’s on.
Hollywood…………I will give you the answer you seek, but you will probably not like it.
I haven’t watched Stossel in a t least a year, probably more. From what I recall he takes issues and applies reason and logic; that doesn’t go over too well with libs (emotional nuts). He used to be on Fox.

John’s problems have not generally been regarding a lack of facts. Generally its a lack of consistent principles.

Might as well arm all the guards… errr… teachers.
Every prison I know of in the FUSA has armed guards to control their wards, metal detectors, CCTV, roving patrols, modular or extremely robust construction, and a strictly regimented schedule with punishment for infractions.
Oh, and the only people who learn anything do it of their own accord…

I can confess now decades later that the years I was a HS Math-Science Teacher, I carried a small 5 shot .22 long single action revolver in my pocket barely bigger than a lighter. Of course I was an ex-Military Officer but if those liberal school administrations had know, they probably would have fired me. If some fruitcake had opened up with a gun, I might have had a chance to stop him if I’d used it and my head. Schools should welcome such armed teachers who have a CCW on a one by one basis.
We damn sure know what a school with only one person with a gun looks like…
Do we know what a school full of people with guns looks like?
Look to Utah for an example.
For more than 10 years Utah has allowed ANYONE with a Utah CCW to carry in any public school,
K through College.
Staff, administrators, teachers, parents, friends, or neighbors… anyone.
They have a nice, peaceful, well armed school system.
