I drive a Prius because I’m a cheap bastard and 60 mpg+ sounds good to me. Plus the SCAQM people are giving out credits like green stamps, so my 15 year old Buick was worth more toward buying it than I originally paid for it. Yeah, the paper straw thing is hardly the most stupidest thing the cali-tyrants have pulled on their populace. But it is surely stupid. And such a tawdry and blatant piece of virtue signaling to boot. My big problem with California is the ones that leave there and then try to impose cali-rule wherever they land.
