Geniuses of The Left and the Glory of Cars

Guest Post by Tom Luongo

Former Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes is most likely going to jail.  She wasn’t Steve Jobs with a vagina, she was a fraud.

George Soros is not a “billionaire philanthropist” anymore than Hillary Clinton is the “most qualified person to ever run for President.”  He’s a cross between a virus and a vulture, first indiscriminately killing whole colonies of prey and looting their corpses long after they are dead.

Mark Zuckerberg is not the kid who brought the world together.  He’s just a creepy stalker with powerful friends.

Elon Musk isn’t “the smartest guy in the room”.  He’s a huckster.  A talented huckster, for sure.  But, the lies of the huckster always catch up with them, like right now.

All of these people are the New Geniuses championed relentlessly by the Left. They are the media darlings of the past decade presented to us as the new faces of capitalism while pulling the strings of the political system to prove to us there is a better way forward for humanity.

But, there isn’t.  This con job of Soros’ “open society” is nothing more than a front for the same Utopian Trotskyism that destroyed Russia a century ago.  They are the same tired, pampered control freaks, the forces of centralization I call The Davos Crowd, set upon us to steal our wealth and and limit our choices.

Musk, in particular, is the worst of the three innovators listed above.  Why?  Because he’s trying to destroy the car.

And the car is the most important invention of the 20th century.  It gave us freedom of movement in ways our ancestors could only dream about.

Freedom of movement enhances trade and resource collection/distribution by orders of magnitude.  It gave us on-demand mechanical advantage not capable with block and tackle or teams of horses.

And Musk wants to tie the car to the centralized, massively inefficient electrical grid, owned and operated around the world by the State.  He wants to chuck a century of perfecting the internal combustion engine be it powered by gasoline or diesel.

But, if he really wanted to free the masses from the tyranny of oil he wouldn’t have built Tesla the way he has.

The Tesla isn’t purpose-built to revolutionize travel, it was purpose-built to serve the Myth of Man-Made Global Warming.  It’s the Toyota Prius Americanized — fattened up to be a luxury sedan with the implicit message that you can have your cake and eat it too.

You can have a car that is powerful, good-looking, luxurious and socially-conscious.

It may be all of those things.  But, the Model S is something more sinister than that.  It is a con job because it trades the reliability of access to power and storage of said power for a dream no one should have been having in the first place.

It is a sad reflection on a world awash in cheap credit and malinvested capital.  Tesla has never produced one car at a price point that doesn’t cost the company thousands of dollars per item.

And therefore its promise is a lie, as it not only eats the cake it also eats your neighbor’s cake as well.

And now the narrative is all about the Model 3 being the new Volkswagen, the people’s car.  To bring our higher community spirit to a consumer-level package.  Because that’s the society this world of bank-owned corporatocracy has created, one where intentions  are more valuable than actually producing things people use.

This is in stark contrast to the original Volkswagen, which truly was a revolutionary product.  In the same way that the original Mustang was the American car perfected for the middle class of the mid-1960’s.

The point of electric cars and, worse, self-driving cars is too make travel unreliable and further ensure that in times of societal crisis all the State would have to do to stop us from getting around is shut down the grid.

Compared to electricity, gasoline production is massively decentralized.  You can’t store electricity reliably.  It’s an on-demand product no matter what the form.

And reliable electricity is the one thing that separates the first world from the third.

Without it a modern economy withers.

And that’s exactly what the Geniuses of the Left have planned for us, a homogeneous world of quiet desperation and tyranny of isolation sold to us as ‘shared community responsibility.’

It’s a good thing none of it is sustainable.

So, when watching this livestream today forgive the digressions into geeking out about cars and understand that this is why Tesla and the Geniuses of the Left are all but finished.  As always NFSW rules apply.

I think you missed a major point of Musk’s plank. To DECENTRALIZE the power grid with consumer solar enabling people to go off grid and not be dependent on the utilities. Even so, most electricity in the US is powered by natural gas. Abundant locally in supply due to American ingenuity like fracking. Much better than importing oil from the Saudis and increasing our trade deficit.

We are talking about 100+ kw powerplants in an electric car. You can’t charge your car with a few solar panels on your roof unless you can wait weeks to drive it.

This is also the unexplained cost of EVs. Depending on where you live you can be paying anywhere from 10 to 20 cents per kwh. You want to charge a 100+kw motor that can run for 3 hours that means you are going to have to buy 300+ kwh of electricity. At 10 cents per kwh that is going to cost you as much or more than gasoline for a car which can go further on 10 gallons of gas!

You’re making that up. Average cost to charge a Tesla Model S for 15,000 miles worth of driving is $540. a year. That’s a huge savings over gasoline

Bulk of the Electricity comes from: Oil / Coal / Natural Gas. It requires more energy to run an electric car because of power line loss, and loss in charging the battery (it’s not 100% efficient and also from heat – the batteries heat as they are charged.

This is all a big rip-off / charade / scam / ponzi scheme.

Electric cars might be fine in Southern California, but battery efficiency rapidly drops off in cold climates…

It’s not a huge savings if you drive cars that get higher mileage. Plus, there are so many distortions in the system – what’s the actual price? Something like 1/2 the cost of gasoline are taxes which for the moment electrics don’t pay (nor should they as nor should gasoline autos).

Bill Gates is NOT the innovator and all-knowing “smartest guy in the room” by any means and should also be put on the “list”…

Bill Gates’ success can be attributed to his purchase of an “operating system” from a REAL software developer and “being at the right place, at the right time”–nothing more.

Bill Gates’ “daddy” is part of one of Seattle, Washington’s most prestigious law firms.

Most people are unaware that most of Bill Gates’ success came from the tight restrictive “licensing agreements” that were formulated by his daddy’s prestigious Seattle Washington law firm, not from technical prowess. For the longest time, it was almost impossible to purchase a copy of DOS or Windows without also purchasing hardware. This was good marketing and helped to spread the use of his operating system among the masses.

You see, Bill Gates WAS born with a “silver spoon” in his mouth and as such, he has NO IDEA of the preciousness of human life. To Gates and those of his type, human life is merely a “commodity” to be created and destroyed according to the will of “elites” such as himself and his ilk.

Bill Gates (and others of his type) are dangerous to humanity as they think that “they have all the answers” and the financial capital to back it up.

There are still many more of us than of people like him . . . there is still time to “nip this thing in the bud”…

Bill Gates went to one of only six high schools in the country at that time that had a computer lab and a big mainframe computer for the students to play with. That’s the point where he was at the right place, right time. There was a time in this country when we respected people who are really smart and able to do big things and move the country forward. We have to get back to that part of it too. Sniping from the sidelines never got anything done.

It’s Bill Gates’ “daddy’s money” along with the tight “licensing agreement” that his daddy’s law firm crafted that gave Microsoft its success.
When IBM was planning its “personal computer” it approached Digital Research Corporation for an “operating system” but was rebuffed. (Big mistake).
In steps Microsoft with an “operating system” that Bill Gates PURCHASED from a REAL software developer for $25,000.00 with daddy’s money.
Bill Gates is no programmer or computer genius, but did get Microsoft off the ground.
His success is not disputed, but it isn’t due to his “computer prowess”.
Like Thomas Edison, he used others to get what he wanted.

I think I understand your point. To a point. My belief is, ideas are small potatoes. The skill set to turn ideas into big tangible things is golden. Gates had that. The other guy didn’t

Bill Gates was a cock sucker. Stole DOS – Seattle Dos. Stole Windows from XEROX PARC. It took him 20 years – to get Windows a reliable operating system. As a computer scientist – Gate’s is a fucking asshole.

Bill Gates also had money, which apparently makes the world go ’round. Money talks.

Gates’ true colers show in that now he is also an education and immunilogical expert.

anarchyst, I always wondered why you had to have Windows when you bought a computer. Always seemed like a racket to me. I want to be able to decide which operating systems are on any new computer I want to buy.

Anybody besides me ever notice how much Musk favors Pee Wee Herman (aka Paul Reubens )

My questions is why his company gets subsidized by the Feds, Pee Wee Herman-ness or not.

I don’t know exactly why he keeps getting subsidized but I think some of it is linked to past Federal behavior some good and some bad. The Federal government, which is supposed to be the people, has been hijacked by special interest groups with a very driven agenda to steer things around to their economic advantage. In the case of the electric cars made by Musk they want to force this on the public whether we want it or not. From what I have seen of Tesla’s is they are very expensive, don’t have enough range, fire hazard in a crash, take too long to charge, and export their pollution elsewhere. Now in fairness I think some of those points I made could also apply to IC vehicles too but we already have an infrastructure in place to deal with it. I thinks he needs to let the market decide if they want his product. If he has a good product then people will beat a path to his door and this principle is what the Federal government is ignoring and is another reason they need to be prohibited from interfering in the market place.

I resent the Federal government forcing me to buy gasoline that has ethanol in it and if they are going to do it why don’t they use ethanol that is produced like they use in Brazil, from a cane that as I understand it, gives a yield of seven times more ethanol. The reason is because we have a powerful chem/ag lobby who is getting rich by using corn ethanol. It causes the price of corn to stay high because if people will look corn and it’s many products are in everything we eat and drink and I would even go so far as to say that is probably linked to the epidemic of obesty in this country.

Ok, I have wandered too much but to sum it up the Republic we had has been hijacked by very wealthy special interest groups and that is why Musk is getting subsidized. I believe Trump is trying to change things and that is why I will vote for him again and the Republican ticket in the mid-terms.

good points james–
another point about ethanol–
because corn subsidies make it profitable to farm non productive land, marginal land is being put into production, which results in low, marshy land being filled/farmed,meaning it no longer filters runoff or is a refuge for wildlife–
btw, what part of arkansas are you from?my mom is from just east of little rock & we still have a lot of family there–
