I did a contract consulting job for Raytheon once. Five thousand dollars for about three weeks work, paid lodging, food and car. They won the contract but didn’t hire me full time. The manager said I was “bitchy.” Sigh.

The USA, most moral country in the world, murdering and starving millions of civilians in Yemen to boost arms sales?? Say it ain’t so, Joe…
Even the Autobahns. Raytheon Anschütz GmbH, founded in Kiel in 1905 and acquired by Raytheon in 1995, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of integrated naval bridge systems and nautical equipment such as gyro compasses, autopilots, steering control systems, monitoring systems, radar systems, electronic sea chart equipment and communication (GMDSS) for ships. Anschütz is also a turn-key systems integrator, offering a wide variety of services from consulting through training and logistics support. It employs some 500 people at its headquarters in Kiel, owns subsidiaries around the world, and provides an extensive network of sales and technical representatives to guarantee that ships can be serviced around the clock anywhere on the globe.
Today, Raytheon Anschütz GmbH is a world technology leader for both blue-water vessels and ships for inland waterways, both naval and commercial.
Raytheon was founded by Laurence Marshall, Vannevar Bush and Charles Smith in 1922 and was originally known as the American Appliance Company.
And, no. Vannevar is not an ancestor of George(s), but his government history and implications of his relationship with several administrations is interesting.
Come on…that can’t be.
