Why? Because the world is evil. Evil is real and has an agenda. It does the opposite of construct, it destructs. That’s its goal. This may surprise you, but I do not think of myself as a fundamentalist Christian. In fact, I tend to lean Buddhist in personal beliefs, but haven’t been in a temple more than twice I think (I also lean Zen, which tends not to need temples as much).
But I recognize some of GCP’s verses and believe him for the rest being real, he has no reason to lie. And since I was raised Southern, I went to church numerous times growing up and generally can get along with most of them. These verses are (more or less) part of my background CULTURE, along with the Pledge of Allegiance (despite its questionable authorship), national anthem, various other bits and pieces of literature and music and art. GCP’s verses don’t bother me; they are sort of landscape to my foreground existence and activities, so I don’t get riled up either way about them. If they run too long, I do tend to scan and skip some, so why don’t you calm down and try that?
At the very least, I don’t see GCP as _malicious_, like Reverse Engineer and similar low-minds that have wandered through here. And if TBP is made up of many lands, all the better?
