This has been my question about this all along. The vast majority of these “refugees” are healthy men of military age. If life where they came from is so bad why are they leaving behind the most vulnerable – their wives, children, elderly parents, sick? If they’re strong and healthy enough to endure a trek of thousands of miles why don’t they use that energy to fix problems in their own country to benefit everybody instead of leaving and just benefiting themselves?
We need to get the ball rolling for solutions outside of government. I think we should have something akin to Trip Advisor with the owl logo on it. But instead it should be an independent operator that goes to business that have certified the employees have US passports.
Seems legal and free speech to boot.
An 18 wheeler probably holds 200 gallons of diesel and gets about 6 mpg. At $3.30 a gallon, someone is incurring over $500 to $600 per day per truck to transport these third world shitholers who have no money. If there are 100 people on each truck, that is 80 or so trucks. That’s $40,000 per day in just fuel. Where is the money coming from to feed 8,000 invaders per day?
They are not invaders until they get to the border. At this time, they are migrants.

We Are The Promised Land. Imagine if someone were to tell you if you could make your way to Nova Scotia, you have everything you dreamed of for the rest of your life for free. And you had no way to make a living where you were at. There’s a lot of hatred in these comments. I will never fault a person who dreams of a better life for himself and his family. These are people. We’re not going to solve the problem with machine guns or minefields. The solution to the problem is to take away the incentives. Don’t forget, the federal government under the last 4 presidents has made the carrot richer and richer, and moved the stick further and further from view. We are going have to become a lot more ruthless in the next few years. It’s going to happen. Watch Italy. Watch what happens when a country gets a leader that says we can stop this, and we will stop this. I believe President Trump knows the truth here, but his grip on political power need some solidifying. We need to have an immigration moratorium. We have way too many people here that have not assimilated at all, and just live off the public dole. Time to close the borders while we sort all this out. Time to make sure that if you immigrate to the United States, you work. It’s coming.
