Something very similar happened to me and another white neighborhood boy in the 7th grade on the first day of school in our newly integrated JR HS but it was outside as we were walking in.
We were suddenly surrounded by seven or eight older black kids and one came up to me and my friend Jimmy. He shoved Jimmy and demanded he hand over his chewing gum and Jimmy started to comply. Then as Jimmy was pulling his pack of gum out he “started” to shove me and I charged screaming knocking him down just past the circle of the hyenas. As we were rolling around I got some good licks in…then two teachers appeared breaking it up.
Jimmy had disappeared.
That was the end of our friendship. I wanted nothing to do with Jimmy after that although we lived one house away and had been friends since the second grade. He remained a pussy easily bullied. I’ve seen him twice in the last 50 years and neither time he could look me in the eye.
I was never approached for my gum or anything else by the hyenas again.
This was a pattern for me as the high school I went to was an all boy real “blackboard jungle” “Lord of the Rings” trade school dominated by blacks and Puerto Ricans but after three immediate vicious responses-fist fights from me after three bullying attempts, I was left completely alone by everyone.
The solution is learn how to fight (my Father trained me well) and don’t take any shit from anyone….FIGHT! I had multiple black eyes as a boy. This is one of the first times I’ve agreed wholeheartedly with starfcker since I’ve been commenting (and lurking prior) here at TBP. Conversely, I have usually liked and agreed with your comments, Donkey Balls. I have also previously liked and agreed with the comments of most of the commenters who are here cheering this man.
The issue, it seems to me, is what is in the video … nothing else. Not speculation about what may have happened prior to the start of the video. I agree that it is likely that in the lead-up to what is captured on the video, things happened that might potentially justify the man’s actions.
However, no one here saw (or even heard about) what led up to this portion of the altercation.
I suspect that if the full story were revealed, or if I had been there to witness the events leading up to the video, I would end up deciding that this man’s actions were either justified or, at least, less egregious than they appear on the video.
However — going solely by what is captured on the video, and without speculating on what preceded it — this man is not justified in his actions. To cheer a large man shoving and knocking out, with a full-force left hook, a twelve year old girl is to be a total fucking cunt and piece of cowardly human offal.

We can also guess at why the videographer started recording – because she knew that the instigatress was instigating. It’s not good that a young girl got clocked. This wasn’t a 5-year-old running and screaming through a toy store, a 3-year-old throwing a temper tantrum, a 9-year-old throwing his food on the ground rather than leaving it on the table, or a 4-year-old shoplifting (as 4-year-olds usually don’t know things need to be purchased).
DO NOT conflate truly innocent child behavior with the deliberately provocative conduct by the girl and her cohorts. The scenarios I presented above are what can be constituted to be “children misbehaving.” If I were near such kids doing those things, I’d certainly be at least a little annoyed, but I would never feel my safety (or the safety of my children) was in danger (unless the tantrums involved throwing objects which could land on my kids, and even then it was not what the video showed).
Children misbehaving is part of every child’s development.
