“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come”, Chapter 2 of the Book of Acts reads, while the Book of Revelation continues along the same lines: “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind”.
None of which happened of course.
Just more proof the bible is more about astronomy than anything else.

Jesus tells us that the time is known only to the Father and that anyone, like a Jehova’s Witness who tells you the world is ending or the second coming is next Wednesday at 2:17 PM is full of pooh. So, it isn’t the Bible thumpers telling us anything. It is akin to being told the world will end following a Blood Moon. This one? The next one? The one a million years hence? You get it.
Did you see the quotations in my comment? These are the comments by bible thumpers and the bible itself, not my own.

It has a block quote and is in italics and quotation marks. It is the beliefs of others being quoted, not mine. You get it?
There is no time mentioned. Only an event which occurs from time to time, punctuation marks not withstanding.
People being wrong about the Bible does not prove the Bible wrong.

They also call the 3rd Monday of January “Blue Monday” and the “most depressing day of the year.”
They say its because of post-holiday depression, wintery weather, and the like, but I think its because it is also Martin Luther King’s birthday holiday and most of America is simply realizing that yet another year has begun in which they will be slaving away at a job in the productive sector of society, so the parasites in the government sector will have paychecks and holidays throughout the year that they will never get to enjoy.
