I never said it mattered to me if you have your kids vaccinated; that’s your business, not mine.
I would not make vaccinations mandatory, but I would make it the responsibility of the parents to pay for any medical care needed if the child gets the disease (i.e., no health insurance)

The real issue is more about the quantity, and possibly quality, of vaccines given today versus 40 years ago. The rise in autism rates has coincided with the rise in the number of shots, and the creation of the vaccine court that provides immunity to the drug makers, and transfers any liability for damages on to the taxpayer.
Another concern is the aggressiveness of Uncle Scam to use the power of government to force people into buying a product.

Some years ago I had a booster DPT shot. There was a Pertussis outbreak in Minnesota, and I came down with Pertussis. I asked the doctor how was this possible? He said a vaccine may not work.
Every time I go to the doctor, they want to give me a vaccine for Shingles. I tell them over and over again – I never had chickenpox – so I don’t need one. Want to hear the latest sales job? Well I was told: “You were probably exposed, but didn’t get the symptoms.”

When flu shots are pushed by mainstream Docs, and can be had for free at any chain drugstore, well, that ought to be a red flag, but not for the masses.
Yeah, no thanks. I’ll take my chances, and do chicken soup, instead of an ineffective vaccine derived from yolks.

Getting a Tetanus booster shot every 10 years is compulsory, I think, for anyone who may be exposed to animal bites or rust nails. Same for Yellow Fever prophylaxis if travelling to exotic countries. Tuberculosis, Diptheria and Polio among a host of other vaccines have been proven to be safe and effective.
What to do then when faced with awful diseases making a comeback in America, and the West in general, as uncontrolled immigration of unchecked Third Worlders, bring diseases once thought conquered back into the general population? These maladies oftentimes transformed into superbugs via bacterial and viral evolution.
And providing newborns, children, seniors – anyone -with a multitude of “new” and “improved” vaccines to prevent such things as Human Papilloma Virus, Acquired Immune Deficiency or even the terrifying Marburg/Ebola haemorrhagic fevers is probably madness but the disease is certainly worse than the cure.
So again; what to do? Don’t have injections of vaccines made in China or India? Stay away from shots provided for “free”? Eat clean, exercise, and take vitamins, herbs and plenty of garlic?
Maybe strict immigration control that includes reviving quarantine protocols would be a good start. If certain persons do not like having immigration controls, including hygiene, maybe they would accede to testing new vaccines to help prevent the return of once-eradicated diseases.
(Yeah, maybe Donald Trump would like to institute a complete moratorium on all immigration. Snickering)
It comes down to trust. And for folks who believe that the sacred trust between Government and its citizens has been broken; by such acts as making infanticide legal; having “sanctuary cities” for illegal aliens who may have God-awful infectious sicknesses; for exporting war around the world for “bringing them democracy” (TM), then who indeed can you trust?
I hope you have a real trustable physician, one who can separate the truth from the lies and the real from the fantasy; because your life and the life of your loved ones depend on it.
